Sugar Caine vs. Nemean Daphne - Newbloods Trial by Fire (Discord RP with threedee)

Sugar's wails and curses were nearly drowned out by the elated cheers of the crowd, taking delight in the ruthless bully getting a taste of her own medicine with this demeaning hold! She rocked back and forth, continuing to hurl strained insults down at Daphne to cope with the pain until...

"Hwuh--?!" Sugar felt herself lurch into the air suddenly, twirling juuust enough in the air to finally look down at Daphne- Right as she planted a fierce kick straight into her sternum!

"BLUHH--" The bully beaver felt her heart skip a beat from the impact, her limbs shooting forward as she was sent right back into the air! Her face fell into blank shock, her brain scrambled from the overwhelming pain as she lands with a hearty THUD on the mat, in shambles after that killer blow!

Daphne was unrelenting, as she got on her knees, grabbed Sugar by the hair, and dragged her up to her feet, before letting go and hailing strikes across Sugar's face!

Hook, jab, straight, body blow! And for the final kicker, she grabbed Sugar by the head before raining forearm strikes onto her head, culminating in her letting go and giving Sugar a dropkick!

Sugar could not be more of a sitting duck as Daphne dragged her up to her feet despite the beaver's whines of protest, her body wanting nothing more than to collapse again... But the Olympian was keen to ravage her with a barrage of strikes, each one hitting Sugar cleaning and leaving her crying out! "Agh--! Gwah--! Mgh--! Fhkwaah--!"

The forearms to her head had Sugar teetering like a tree about to fall, her hair covering her face as she groaned and tried to find her balance... Only for Daphne to topple her over with a dropkick to her chest, leaving the beaver sprawled out like a starfish on the mat, barely clinging to consciousness!

The crowd was going wild for Daphne! They were eating up the energy she had brought on for this, her surprise offense having been one hell of a comeback.

As Sugar lay sprawled on the floor, Daphne jumped at the ringropes, before springboarding off them, doing a twirl mid air, and landing, buttocks first, on top of Sugars chest!

Daphne relentlessly kept her push up, by turning around, hooking both of her legs around Sugars neck, before using her momentum with a push to flip forward, and bring Sugar in for a front flip ride, smashing her head first onto the canvas!

This was the Colossus' Fall, her finisher!

In all honesty, nobody would have accused Daphne for being too hasty if she went for the pin off of that strike exchange alone. Sugar was hardly stirring after being floored, her face contorted into a prolonged grimace as she tried (and failed) to urge her body to stand again. Within the foggy blur of her mind, she was screaming at herself- To stop being so weak, to get her ass up, to beat the bricks off that stuck up little--!

"GEHUUUH--" And that was right when the Olympian came crashing down upon Sugar's chest, driving what little air she had left out of her lungs! And with no time to even process the pain, those fuzzy legs of Daphne's curled around the bully's head, whipping her right around and--!

THUNK

With a mighty thud that shook the whole ring, the Olympian spiked Sugar straight into the mat! The beaver stayed perfectly upright for just a moment, long enough for everyone to see her leg twitch slightly... Before finally, with a pathetic groan, she toppled over and slumped to the canvas, flat on her back!

Seeing her fall and slam on the mat like that washed Daphne over with feelings.

The first was a sense of "OOPS" as she realized she must've overdone it. Hopefully no fractures!

The second was a sense of relief as she pounced on top of Sugar, laying on top of her for a pinfall!

Sugar was completely unmoving as Daphne scrambled to cover her- Fractures or not, it was clear to everyone that the beaver wasn't going to be moving for a good while! The ref was quick to slide in for the count--

"ONE!"

"TWO...!"

"THREE!"

The sound of the crowd erupting with elation nearly drowned out the emphatic clanging of the bell, as the ref stood and reached a hand out to help Daphne up and raise her hand! And even with all the joyous chaos, Sugar remained fast asleep, the gentle rise and fall of her chest the only movement her body could muster!

Daphnes head looked up in surprise when she hit the 3 count. Her eyes widened like she couldn't believe it, but then the realization struck.

She has made it! She had won her debut! She's good enough to be SRW material! Just like her idol! She hoped her idol was watching her right now!

The referee helped her a hand up, and Daphne stood straight, before giving a little laugh at her victory. Her friends would be so proud of her right now.

With that, she cast a glance down at the downed Sugar, and wondered if she's going to be all right. She even poked her nose with her tail.

The prodding at her nose got a subtle twitch from the beaver, and with a slight turn of her head she groaned and draped her arm over her face. She was awake! ... Very much still in pain, but awake!

With some struggle, Sugar slowly turned over onto her front, planting her hands to the canvas pushing herself back to her feet- Her whole body felt like lead as her head was still swimming in foggy waters...

Daphne kneeled down on her knees, and her tail retreated as she let out a sigh of relief. With that, she stretched a hand out, for Sugar to grab onto, and said "That was a good fight." She had an earnest smile on her face, and there was a tone of genuinity to it. Despite everything Sugar had done, Daphne was not taking any of it personally at all, and was being a good sport.
