Sugar Caine vs. Nemean Daphne - Newbloods Trial by Fire (Discord RP with threedee)

Sugar had to hold back a laugh- Here the rookie was, about to lunge in to try and take out the beaver's legs. All Sugar would need to do is drop to her knees and oh mY GODS WHY IS SHE SPINNING--?!

Any strategy Sugar had flew out the window as she watched Daphne buck up and twirl her legs at her like a helicopter, threatening to bash her face in with her heels! Instinctively the beaver yelped and dropped to the mat, just narrowly avoiding getting hit in the head- Where the hell did this newbie learn to do that?!

Hoping to put a stop to this attack as quickly as possible, Sugar kicked her leg out at Daphne's arms, trying to sweep her up and send her tumbling to the mat...!

And sweeped she got!

Daphne yelled "WAH" as Sugar ducked knocked her arms out from under her! It was an expertly done reaction, almost flawless in its meanuver in stopping Daphne's momentum...almost because one of Daphne's tumbling legs knocked Sugar on the head as she came crashing down into a heap on the mat.

Daphne pouted. Her attack had failed pretty badly, though she took the unintentional hit to Sugar as a compensation.

'Hah! Take that, punk!' Sugar had a split second of satisfaction as she managed to stop the rookie's surprise attack with some brilliant quick thinking and cat-like reflexes, showing why she was the one in charge he--

THUNK

Any self-absorbed platitudes Sugar were giving herself in her mind were immediately cut off as a heel bashed the top of her head, leaving the beaver to hiss through her clenched teeth as she raised her hands to clutch the point of impact. She let out a soft groan... That gradually grew into a growl of pure anger! "Grrrrh, you idiot, why don't you watch where you're falling huh?!"

Daphne rolled herself to her side, before pushing herself off the mat, doing an agile backwards jump to get back on her feet. She herself, while having a pouty look still, calmly said back, "Watch where you stand, then, you have the reflexes."

Her face scrunched up a bit, small giggle noises struggling out of her lips; clearly trying to suppress a laugh. Apparently she wasn't used to talking smack back at people.

Sugar ignored the cat's composed rebuttal, scoffing out as she continues to rub her head- Until she perks up slightly, hearing a soft snort from her opponent. Was that... A giggle? Was she laughing at her?

"Oh you're dead, rookie!" Pushing herself back to her feet, Sugar grit her teeth and glowered at her, clenching her fists... Before cocking one back and lunging at Daphne to throw a wild haymaker!

Daphne quickly stopped the suppressed laughter as she gave a small "eyaip!" as Sugar suddenly got mad as a hornets nest and charged at her! She guessed Sugar thought she had been laughing at her. She didn't mean to laugh at her, she was just laughing at her ownself for coming up with a rebuttal. Usually, it was her friends who did that so this felt very different. Now she had to deal with a newly enraged opponent.

But Sugar's anger was an advantage too because Daphne saw an opening. She wavered a bit, to give the illusion that she wasn't going to react on time....but as Sugar's haymaker got close, Daphne made her move!

If Sugar wasn't quicker, Daphne would duck under the haymaker, before grabbing it and pulling it into a chicken wing hold!

Sugar usually wasn't a striker by any means, preferring far more to truly out-wrestle her opponents- You'd have to get her pretty peeved off to get her to even consider swinging. And the Olympian was finding that out the hard way, as the beaver stepped forward and flung her fist right for her cheek...!

"Gwagh--!" Only to be caught with ease and have her arm be cranked back in a chickenwing, leaving Sugar to grunt out! She clenched her teeth, stamping her foot in annoyance as she wriggled in Daphne's grasp... Before a smirk crept across her lips.

"Should've watched yourself, newbie!" Before Daphne could press her advantage and transition into a more painful hold, she felt something shift between the two of them... Before Sugar's massive, paddle-like tail swung for the fences right in-between her legs!

Daphne was planning to throw Sugar with this expertly done chicken wing counter. But she had made a critical error. She forgot Sugar had a tail.

A very strong tail.

Her eyes darted down, just too late as she felt a massive jolt of pain and force go up between her legs, as her legs clamped shut together out of reflexive pain. The referee jumped back in fright at the sight, and the audience went "OOOOOOOOOOOOH!" in reactively feeling pain to what just happened. Daphne's head shot upwards in angle and let out a very loud and shrill scream before falling over backwards, clamping her hands over her groin, curled into a ball. Streaks of tears started to wet her cheeks, clearly in pain.

"...Didn't....think...this...through!" she whimpered.

"I'll say..." Sugar softly tutted as she planted a hand on her hip, cocking to the side as she raised her tail upwards slightly, almost like she was flexing it right in front of poor Daphne. She looked over her shoulder with a leering smirk, clearly pleased with herself- After putting up with her nonsense, it felt good to finally catch the little punk dead to rights. That scream of hers was delightful...

"I told you once already- You're not gonna last a second here if you think everyone's gonna play all goody-two-shoes like you." With a gentle sigh, Sugar turned on her heel, waving off the torrential chorus of boos that were now drowning the arena as she stepped in front of the fallen cat, nudging her legs apart with her feet...

"Now... I think someone as green as you needs a little extra schooling~"

Daphne was rendered helpless for a while, the attack had practically left her too stunned and entirely vulnerable. She was still curled up in a ball, before noticing Sugar approaching her. The tears wetting the fur around her eyes, she unfurled and started crawling towards the ropes. Unfortunately, not fast enough as Sugar got to her, trying to pry her legs open with her webbed feet.

Daphne tried to keep her legs closed, but it was no good. Her legs got opened as she just was about to reach the ringropes, before turning her head around, a pleading look on her face.

"P-please, no! D-d-don't do-do-d-do it!"
