Mia Yukari Wilson vs. Peggy McIntyre

Peggy had been on a bit of a slide in the ring and she was all business tonight hell bent on getting back to winning between the ropes. She was going to do whatever it took as well.

Clad in her green one piece swimsuit she was going to try to slam, punch, and pound her way into a victory tonight. Her opponent was someone she hadn't heard of but she was determined to make her wish she never set foot in the ring with Peggy.

Peggy's music began to play and she came put, waving to the crowd as she made her way to the ring, climbing g onto the apron and through the ropes before flexing her arms and winking to the crowd.

Sitting inside the lockers room, Mia waited for her cue to get backstage as she made final preparations to her wrestling attire. There was no meeting with her manager this time. Apparently, Masako was still livid at her from their disagreement, and even if the woman had kept with her managing duties she had given her client the cold shoulder. Not like the Mustang cared about it if she kept acting as manager. There was something about the Ice Queen that Mia didn’t like at all. Maybe it was her controlling side, but she couldn’t point to it…

Her turn was up, and Mia walked backstage to catch a final glimpse at her rival’s entrance. That was when her entrance theme started and she made it to the stage. Crowd cheered as she made it down the ramp making her way to the ring. People was actually used to her sight on the ring now and her attitude in fighting and her results gave Mia not a small amount of popularity in between the crowd. It wasn’t her main area of concern, but it felt really good having people on your side while fighting.

As she made it to the ring Mia got a proper look at her rival. If she had made a mental picture of someone just thinking about “Irish” that picture wouldn’t be as half as Irish than what Peggy looked like. The redhead was clad in an emerald one piece and some wrestling boots. She was also a slightly taller than Mia but looked way more muscular and heavy. It would be one of those matches in which she had some physical inferiority once more.

“Hey there.” Mia greeted her rival. “Mia Wilson. Let’s have a good match. I heard you have been out of the rings for some time. Hope you don’t mind if I don’t hold my punches...” She used a tone that implied challenge, but also respect.

Peggy watched as the graceful woman came out, although Peggy kept still where she was standing with her hands on her hips as she paced back and forth while never taking her eyes off Mia. As her opponent approached and offered a hand Peggy reluctantly shook it, wary of a trick. She wasn't here to make friends tonight. Peggy was here to show AFW what she was made of.

"Lass, ya can do whatever ya want. It won't matter 'cause I am leavin' the ring tonight as the winner." Peggy said sash kept her gaze right on Mia. She stepped away a couple steps and did some stretching as the bell rang to signal the start of the match!

Peggy waste no time in running right at Mia, extending her arm and trying to open things up with a running clothesline to her smaller opponent! Peggy was going to go all in and try her best to crush Mia with a quick win on this night.

Mia wasn’t one to look for friendship in the ring. It was right that in some rivals she had found some camaraderie and that with some of them she had achieved some kind of closeness, but the Mustang wasn’t completely alien to the idea of a rival being just that. She would always show some respect for her rivals, even if she would challenge them to do their best, but their relationship would end there. That was the reason Mia wasn’t surprised at Peggy’s greeting and reluctant handshake. The Irish was a proud one, and it showed when the woman made her remarks about the match. “Don’t be surprised if this doesn’t end the way you like...” Mia said before both of them retreated.

The bell rang and the match started. Mia wasn’t sure about what to think of her rival. She was undeniably bigger in size than her, but what the Mustang definitely wasn’t expecting was the redhead to move as fast as she did in a rush to get a clothesline connecting. Mia was proud of her agility and speed, but that woman was suprisingly fast. At first it looked like the Mustang was going to avoid being hit by going below her rival’s arm, but in the end Peggy got her as Mia crashed on the mat with her back, groaning from the surprise and pain.

Peggy smashed into Mia and sent her crashing down to the mat with her clothesline! Peggy smiled but kept moving, not wanting to stop or pause in her offensive at the start of the matchup. Peggy reached down to pull Mia up by the arm and try to hook her arms underneath both of Mia's. Peggy was setting herself up to lift Mia up and continue her punishment of the newer wrestler by going for a double underhook suplex, an old favorite among the classic Japanese wrestling fans in attendance.

Not only Mia was welcomed with a sudden and early clothesline, when the Mustang went on her back on the mat her rival didn’t have any intention of stopping there. It looked like the Irish wanted to get the advantage from the very beginning of the match and hence the pressure she was aplying. Without giving Mia any time to try and recover, Peggy reached for her and pulled her up from one on her arms. From there, the redhead hooked her arms below Mia’s and at that moment the Mustang realized what was going on. She would have gone for some kick to her rival’s leg to try and prevent it from happening, but she wasn’t fast enough and Peggy got the double underhook suplex going.

Mia protested and groaned in pain when her back hit the mat. Her rival had executed first a fast move and then a very technical one. That was some sort of statement, meaning Peggy meant business. In order to get the match going, Mia needed to make a statement as well. “Oh man, what a way to start...”

Not wanting her rival to keep the pressure going and wanting to start some kind of comeback the Mustang would roll away, breaking some distance before quickly regaining her footing. She would try to provoke Peggy to invade her space and then would go for a powerful superkick!

Peggy lift Mia up and sent her crashing to the mat, feeling very good about herself! Peggy grinned as she got up, but that was quickly wiped off her face as Mia rolled away and got back up to her feet quickly. Peggy thought the impact would have done more but she was now enraged, and frustrated that Mia was back up so fast. Moving in Peggy reached out to get hold of the woman again but that proved to be her undoing.

The super kick smashed her in the jaw, her head snapping back as her hair flew all over as Peggy fell back to the canvas flat on her back! Peggy groaned, her hands covering her face as she kicked the mat in pain. There was not going to be any sort of fast rise back to her feet for the Irish wrestler.

Mia wasn’t a robust or resilient one, she knew pretty well that in a long drawn match her endurance wasn’t really good. She was what in other environments called glass cannon. Hitting like a train, but with a jaw of glass. Since the Mustang was really aware of that weakness of hers she had the habit of undertaking her matches so full of energy, trying her best to ignore those first hits she sustained and going hard at her rival in order to drain them quickly. That was what helped her get up so quickly after being suplexed.

The Mustang’s strategy played out well. She managed to get Peggy provoked, and when the redhead was at reach Mia used her legs to send a powerful superkick that hit Peggy just in the jaw. The Irish went directly to the mat flat on her butt and the crowd cheered as the smaller woman made a feat of strength. It was always the same with Mia: her rivals saw a lighter, thinner woman and thought she wasn’t capable of packing a punch, and then she made them pay for their mistake. It was the same with the crowd, part of her popularity coming from the fact that she looked so thin and light and then showed quite the strength.

Seeing Peggy on the canvas covering her face with her hands Mia thought her rival was giving her some free hits. The Mustang wanted to keep going with the pressure so her rival would lose some of her energy and punch, and that was why Mia went for a couple of stomps on her rival’s stomach before jumping in place and falling hard on her chest with an elbow drop.

Peggy groaned and bucked about as the stomps hammered into her abdomen leaving her gasping for breath on the mat. The stunned Peggy was not going anywhere as Mia jumped up and crashed down hard onto Peggy with the elbow drop! "Arrggghhhhhh!" Peggy groaned loudly as she was crushed by the force of the elbow drop. Her jaw throbbed and her torso was hurting as Mia was piling on the offense against the Irish woman!

There was no point in stopping now, or at least that was what Mia thought. Now she was on a roll, the upper hand on her side as what it was a great start for the match was sinking in. Each one of her strikes and moves had connected, and Peggy did nothing but taking the hits and suffer the throes of pain and frustration being single handed like that would cause.

Mia knew really well that giving her rival any kind of chance to recover was opening a window for the match to turn the tables. As long as she could keep the pressure going she would be able to retain the edge in the match. That was her combat style and her philosophy when wrestling, and she wasn’t going to change it now. That was why Mia got a grip on one of Peggy’s arms and dragged the Irish on her feet. “Off you go!”, she said to her rival as she sent Peggy against the ropes with an Irish whip. But Mia wouldn’t expect for the redhead to come back, she would run the other way and gain momentum herself against the ropes, running at her rival’s encounter to execute a dropkick to the Irish’s chest!
