Nanami Tomonari vs. Emily Nelson - Underworld vs. Highland

Nanami was in great pain after being suplexed by her opponent, her chest rising and falling as she breathed heavily. And then, Emily decided to go for a pinfall attempt, placing her arm across her shoulders while another arm went to hook one of her legs. In this position, Nanami could see how beautiful the former Wrestle Angel was, but she couldn't allow this to distract her from getting out of her current predicament.

"TWO!"

Mustering her strength, Nanami would kick out of the pinfall attempt, stopping the count. Groaning, she would try to push Emily away as she would try to regain her bearing in preparation for her to get back into the fight. She needed to recover some of her strength first if she ever wanted to stand a chance against her opponent.

Emily hadn't figured that Nanami would be so easily pinned at this point, and sure enough, the Japanese girl didn't disappoint her, finally kicking out just before the two count. Although Emily had been hammering her hard, she wasn't about to give up just yet...and honestly, Emily would have been insulted if she had.

Pushed back by Nanami, Emily knelt up and brushed her hair aside. "Come on, wi' ye," she said, grabbing a hold of Nanami's head to pull her into a sitting position...before leaning down on the girl and locking one arm across her throat, clamping in a sleeper hold from behind. She didn't anticipate this would finish Nanami off, but she did want to see if the rookie could escape. "Ye may start to feel a wee bit drowsy now, lass."

Despite kicking out of Emily's pinfall attempt, Nanami was still recovering from everything that she had taken, so when the former Wrestle Angel went to lock her arm around her neck, putting her into a sleeper hold from behind, Nanami started having difficulty to breathe as well as getting herself lightheaded as her opponent's arm managed to slow the flow of blood towards her head. She started to struggle, trying to escape from the hold.

"Hrghhh... nghhh..."

Nanami flailed her arms for a bit before she tried to bring her hands onto Emily's arm that was wrapped around her neck. She tried to pry that arm off of her as she continued her struggle. Things didn't seem good for the sukeban, it seemed, and she needed to free herself as quickly as possible to prevent herself being put into a much direr situation.

Nanami was struggling hard to escape now, straining and pulling desperately against Emily's arm even as her air supply was effectively closed off. The girl was showing a lot of determination right now as she tried to claw her way free, but Emily had the hold locked in tightly. Emily gritted her teeth as she felt Nanami starting to pry her way loose. Even then, Emily was confident that she could have kept the hold locked in until Nanami passed out.

But then, that wouldn't have been a very interesting match now, would it?

Finally releasing Nanami, Emily stood up, grabbing Nanami by the arm as she yanked her up as well. Without wasting any time or breath, Emily would whip Nanami towards the ropes, hoping to meet her with a clothesline as she bounced back!

Nanami continued struggling in the hold, trying her best to work her way out of her predicament despite having her air supply cut off. Eventually, Emily released her from the hold, but the lack of air left Nanami unable to focus, and as a result, she was unable to stop her opponent from sending her running towards the ropes with an Irish whip.

Even so, she knew that there had to be something that she could do here. So, rebounding from the ropes, Nanami would return back to where Emily was, seeing that her opponent had extended her arm out in preparation to hit her with a clothesline. The former sukeban ducked, avoiding the clothesline before running towards the opposite ropes.

Rebounding from the opposite ropes, Nanami would try to make use of her momentum to ram into Emily, looking to tackle her down onto the mat with a spear, preferably hitting her right at her back. From there, she would be able to bring the former Wrestle Angel down onto the mat, chest, first, which would certainly leave her reeling.

As Emily pulled Nanami up, the lighter girl sagged in her grip weakly, still looking bleary and unfocused after nearly being knocked out by that sleeper. As much as Emily wanted to give this girl a fighting chance, an opening for a second wind, she knew better than to hold back at all. And so she whipped Nanami towards the ring, confident that her ability to fight back was now limited as she charged at the former sukeban, arm raised for a clothesline...

...only for Nanami to duck low, racing under her arm. Surprised, Emily was left running towards the ropes...and even then, she didn't even reach them when Nanami suddenly collided with her body from behind, her shoulder digging hard into her spine. Emily let out a surprised, pained grunt as she was knocked forwards, crashing onto her front with Nanami now on her back, momentarily stunned by that unexpected impact...

Nanami managed to hit Emily with a spear from behind, taking her down onto the mat. Successfully taking down the former Wrestle Angel, Nanami planned to take advantage of this while she still could, picking herself up. She still felt the effect of everything that she had taken earlier, but she wouldn't allow it to keep her from dealing some damage on her opponent.

As she rose back up on her feet, Nanami would pull Emily with her, planning to bring her back up as well. Once Emily was on her feet, Nanami would exert her strength to lift her up with both her arms before using one of her arms to push her down as hard as she could, looking to slam her down into the mat with a devastating uranage!

Emily was wincing now, her back throbbing from where Nanami had slammed into her from behind, leaving her sprawled on her front. This time, though, it was Nanami's turn to maintain her momentum, quickly picking herself up and grabbing a hold of Emily's arm, pulling the former Wrestle Angel up as well, still wincing as she was forced upright.

As soon as she was standing, though, Nanami was at her side, wrapping her arms around Emily as though in a hug. For a moment, Emily was at a loss as to what Nanami was trying: she couldn't seriously be going for a body-to-body suplex, or a bearhug, could she? Emily was answered as the lighter girl lifted her up slightly...and then suddenly tilted her grip, slamming Emily down back-first with an uranage. "UGGH!" Emily grunted, both of her legs kicking up up hte impact before she was left lying on her back, breathing hard...

Nanami picked Emily up before throwing her down with an uranage, sending her crashing down into the mat back first. Breathing out a little after executing the attack, the former sukeban decided to weaken her opponent some more by grabbing onto her legs, picking them up and lifting them up while standing before her. She needed to ensure that her opponent would be immobilized by targeting her legs, kicking at the back of her thighs as hard as she could.

Right after that, Nanami would throw down both Emily's back onto the mat, confident that the attack should have caused her opponent to have trouble moving. As she did so, she would start formulating her next plan so that she could continue her momentum in this match.

Emily winced as she tried to sit up, clutching her back as she did so. Admittedly, she had taken worse bumps from meaner opponents in the past, but still, she couldn't deny that that little judo move of Nanami's had been effective. Even as she tried to sit up, though, Nanami was already one step ahead of her, grabbing onto her boots and pulling her legs back, forcing Emily onto her back again. Annoyed, Emily was about to kick out and force her cute opponent back...but then the kicking began.

Again and again, Nanami's boots slammed into the back of Emily's powerful thighs. The first such blow elicited a surprised gasp from the Scotswoman, but then more and more hits came stomping down. Despite herself, Emily found herself crying out in pain, each blow causing her body to jolt as she was forced back against the mat, eyes screwed shut in pain. As Nanami finally threw her legs back down, Emily was left rolling onto her site, gritting her teeth as she tried to get up to her knees again...not an easy task now that her thighs were throbbing in pain...
