Seraphim and Masane: Old wounds

One-hundred and ten percent, Seraphim never saw any reason in fighting unless someone brought along everything they were capable of. Sure, there was always regular training, teaching someone, or doing something more.. sensual, but when it came to a true spar or fight, Seraphim couldn't hold back, not unless she was in the ring with someone she truly loved and cared about.

Her stance firm, like Seraphim was a strong tree rooted in the ground, she would be the first one to strike. Seraphim normally liked to play just a little defensive at first to analyze her opponent, but she knew a bit of Masane's technique from before, so she decided to get gung-ho, moving in, her stance ready, as she unleashed her first attack.

"Let's go~!" She said with a determined smile, starting up with a high knee strike, aiming to hit the side of Masane's ribs, beginning with a raised knee, but extending her leg at the last moment as her dense and muscular leg would attempt to slam into the side of her, right around the hips.

Masane braced herself as Seaphim moved in. She saw her thrusting the knee, and gasped, hopping to the side to barely avoid the leg, and tried to move in close and tried to aim for a hook to her gut in retaliation. "Hyah!!"

Quick~ Not bad. Seraphim hadn't forgotten the skill of her opponent, and was having high expectations for this. Seeing her own strike miss just by a hair, Seraphim didn't cease her grin, her leg quickly returning to it's position, maintaining her stance as Masane retaliated in her own attack. Seraphim had a weak gut, it was one of the only spots she had trouble overcoming pain in, but that was why she kept it covered. Her defensive style of boxing had one hand by her lower jaw and neck, while her other was just over her lower gut, just for this kind of incident.

Reacting, Seraphim had shifted her arm so Masane's blow slammed into her forearm, ignoring the slight pain as it hit her well toned arm like it was just a bee sting, and charged in with the attack. "Heh, good, but I've worked on my defenses." She would grab Masane by the wrist of her arm that had just struck, and move in towards her, attempting to do a spearing tackle as she leaned all her weight into Masane and lowered herself to strike her shoulder into her hips and grab tightly around her waist.

Masane frowned when her blow struck into Seraphim's forearm, and then blinked as her arm was caught. She braced herself as the woman moved in, and was taken down to the ground. She raised her arms up to her head as she fell, however, and tried to throw down a punch or two at Seraphim's head while she was grabbing around her waist.

Without letting up, Seraphim brought Masane down to the mat, and was ready to deliver a crippling blow to the gut, or even engage in a submission. Masane proved her resiliance though as she delivered a few punches to Seraphim during the grapple. The first blow to the head struck true, but Seraphim didn't let up, in fact, aside from a small grunt, she proved to be a tank and continued going, finally bringing the girl down as she did. A single blow like that was laughable to her, after all the pain she had gone through and grown up on, practically becomi ng a mascochist in the proccess, she actually enjoyed that attack. Even as the second strike knocked her right between the eyes, she only realled back for a second, with cringe, her grip only weakening a bit. If there was anyone in the league who could take pain like a machine, it was Seraphim Harmonia, fighting through it like they were nothing but slaps, before continueing.

"You won't get anywhere against me with hits like that." Seraphim said while she had brought Masane down to the mat. Seraphim did have her own share of weaknesses, but when i came to tolerating strikes and blows, she could go all day. While Masane was down, Seraphim quickly engaged in throwing a punch of her own, aiming below her arms that covered her face, and instead went down at her chest, right below her breasts and ribs to try and knock the wind out of her with one of her powerful punches while she was down and stradling herself over Masane.

Masane snerked at her comment after nailing her head with a couple of hard strikes. Her arms stayed up by her face as Seraphim sat up on her, until she saw where Seraphim's punch was aiming. She tried to bring both arms down to snag her wrist, hoping to halt her attack before it could make contact with that area. If successful, she'd try to tug on her arm to bring her down before throwing a fierce elbow up at her jaw!

Seraphim's strike was hard, fast, and fierce. Every thrust of her punch felt like it had the force of a cannon behind it, raising a fear of just how a girl could get that powerful. There was no doubt if her blow struck true, Masane would have been gasping for air like a fish out of water, but the girl was quick, catching Seraphim's downcoming fist right by her wrist, mearly inches from her gut. Her single, crimson eye widened a bit, both shocked and impressed she could catch such a strike, and before Seraphim could retaliate, the girl sent a rising elbow up to her face, cracking along Seraphim's lower jaw as it sent the vixen stumbling up and back, getting off of Masane.

"Ngh... nice one." Seraphim murmered through clenched teeth, standing on two feet now as she stumbled a few steps back from Masane, giving her the moment to get up. She briefly nursed her jaw with a hand over it, rubbing it with a few quick breaths, ignoring the pain as best as she could. Seraphim was like a tank, even a blow as critical like that not stopping her, the girl soon shaking it off, but with more than enough time for Masane to get back up.

Masane hopped to her feet as Seraphim took the fierce hit and got off her. She sprang from her back, onto her feet as Seraphim staggered back, and quickly shifted back into her stance. As Seraphim was busy rubbing her jaw, she'd try to take advantage by going in with a fierce palm aimed for her gut in order to try and wind Seraphim a little.

Now she was starting to have some fun. Finding the pain to be mildly enjoyable, and the risks of this match never leaving her mind, Seraphim maintained her focus completely, feeling like she could go all day at this rate. Before the white haired vixen could enter her stance though, Masane moved in quick after getting to her feet, and went for a strong palm strike to her lower stomach. Reacting quick, knowing it to be her weakest point, Seraphim raised her leg up as quick as she could since her hands were busy, using her knee that went up high to hold her off. She knew Masane wasn't stupid enough to run into it, but it at least kept the girl from getting any closer, as she know had only one leg firmly planted on the ground, all her weight in it. It was a risk, but Seraphim went to extend her leg up even more, using her leg that went out to both keep Masane from getting to close with the palm strike, and also going for a kick with the toe of her boot to hit her in the collarbone.

Masane stopped her attack when she saw that leg raising up. Seeing her on one leg like that, she tried to duck low and tried to sweep her supporting leg out from under her, hoping to knock Seraphim to her back. Masane was enjoying this fight about as much as Seraphim was. They were both skilled in their own style of martial art. It would simply come down to who was better at their trade.
