Tasha Jackson vs Peggy McIntyre - Twisting A Shamrock?

Tasha had already been on the verge of losing by pinfall, and matters were only getting worse. Peggy had not allowed her any time to recover, and the Alabaman had not come up with any meaningful offense she would have been capable of in her current state. And what was making things especially worse was that the Irish redhead knew exactly how to play Tasha's weight to her own advantage, as evidenced by the vertical suplex!

No one was suprised that the Southern Twister didn't really move an inch before Peggy began to lift her back up again. Things were certainly looking bad for the strong rookie, and if Peggy wanted another suplex, she was going to get another suplex! The crowds got to witness how Tasha's body became lifted once again high up into the air, only to then crash back down hard into the mat...

The referee was well awake and immediately recognized the pin attempt, wasting no time with coming down for the count.

"ONE!"

The count began and Peggy held her breath, keeping her back as firmly bridged as she could while holding onto that leg. Was this it? Was Peggy about to pull off a big upset?

"TWO!"

The count continued and Peggy tried her best to focus, taking one thing at a time. However she was dealing with her mind racing. Was this it? Was Tasha going to kick out and force Peggy to keep trying to think of how to take her down? Was Tasha going to come storming back and wipe Peggy out in a flurry of painfully powerful offense? Only time would tell.

"Ugh... I shouldn't have underestimated her..."

Her back hurting like hell after the second suplex in a row, Tasha was already in the process of admitting her mistakes. Mistakes that she frankly had to admit, based on how the latter part of the match had been going for her. Mistakes that had crumbled her confidence, and left her reeling in pain...

"TWO!"

"Ohh... This is it... I can't... I just can't..."

"THREE!"

The Southern Twister may had started off the match strong, managing to showcase her powers and skills between the ropes. But the referee's count was merciless, sealing the strong rookie's defeat.

Peggy let out a sigh of relief as the bell rang, staggering up and holding her arms high! "That is how its done everyone! No one messes with this lass!" Peggy said as she did a victory lap around the ring, hearing the crowd cheering her victory. She smiled and struck a little pose or two before turning her attention back to Tasha. "Lass you are strong. That rock hard body and crazy sculpted muscles ain't just for show but ya can't just be strong and expect to win against skill. If ya ever want a shot at me again just call me. If ya ever want to face off against a power house who will show ya what for I know a lady for that too." Peggy said as she nodded to Tasha, partially talking trash but partially complementing her as well.

Tasha wanted to just disappear. She just couldn't hear out Peggy's triumph. This should have been her night, this should have been her match. But instead, the slightly smaller Irish redhead, her opponent of tonight, had managed to throw her around, all the way to the Alabaman's bitter defeat. She knew she had failed miserably, and frankly, did not really want to even open her eyes any longer. Only thing she wanted to do was just to roll away and toddle backstage...

But before the Southern Twister could do that, Peggy stopped her in her tracks, voicing out her comments on Tasha's performance. And frankly, the Southern rookie did not really know how to feel about them... Her confidence had already crumbled, and she couldn't really tell whether Peggy's comments were helping or not. But one thing was for sure... Right now facing another powerhouse was the last thing Tasha wanted to do!

Nevertheless, she did have the spirit to reply. "Well, thanks... Maybe I will...maybe I won't. But you were good... Much better than I thought!" the Southern Twister managed to utter before proceeding to roll herself towards the ropes, jumping off the apron and grabbing her warmed-up bottle of sweet tea to comfort her on her way towards the peace of the backstage area.
