The Wolf vs. The Amazon

Alaina moved up and again was shocked at the recovery ability of Manami, who was able to shrug off as hard a headshot as Alaina could musterand grab the Amazon!

Before Alaina could react she was in the Air, crashing down hard on too of the hood of the van! Alaina groaned and kicked her legs as she reached behind her to run the low of her back. Once again as hard as she tried Manami seemed invincible to her off we, being stunned for a few moments but never downed! Alaina let out another moan as she tried to sit up but slumped back onto the hood, clearly in bad shape!

Manami took a breath to herself after tossing the Amazon onto the hood. She may not have been the biggest opponent she’d come across, but the muscle was there nonetheless. There was plenty of weight backing Aliana’s body, and hoisting her over was a more laborious task than most would have assumed.

But that only meant the impact would be that much greater.

Turning around and hopping up to the hood of the van, the Wolf Girl would lean down and yank Aliana up by her hair. Taking careful steps to the top of the van, she would grasp onto the woman’s head with two hands and throw her onto the automobile’s roof. With a quick little snicker, Manami would take careful steps over to the downed Amazon.

“Get up.” She said, kicking the woman in her side. “Your pathetic excuse for a challenge has overstayed its welcome.” She reached down, attempting to grab Aliana’s head with one hand and slamming it back down onto the metal surface.

Alaina was still hurting as Manami tossed her up onto the van. She felt pain surging through her body and heard Manami stomping her way over. The anger Alaina felt towards this woman couldn't be understated. As she reached down to grab hold of Alaina's head the amazon was already trying to think of a way to get back at Manami, to get back into the fight! As the wolf drew close the amazon reached out with both her hands to grab the backs of Manami's ankles.

With a great effort Alaina pulled back, trying to take Manami's legs out from underneath her! If she was able to pull this of and prevent her head from being smashed against the van Alaina would try to crawl over to Manami and rain punches down on the womans abdomen to soften up her midsection and put her through some pain as payback for the fallaway slam!

Why couldn’t this woman just learn to stay down? The self-righteous were never the ones to go quietly were they?

As Manami went to capitalize on her position, Aliana tore away, yanking the wolf’s feet out from under her and falling onto her back with a hard bounce against the van’s roof. She had scarce a moment to breath before her opponent began raining gut-wrenching punches down on her. Her eyes grew twice their size as a bit of spittle escaped her mouth, her and the automobile beneath being throughly rocked by impact after impact. It wasn’t smart to stay here.

Seeing her rhythm slowing down slightly, Manami would shoot out a stiff palm strike into the bridge of the Amazon’s nose. In the event her attack landed without error, she would reel her legs back between them, launching them up and wrapping them around the Aliana’s neck with a triangle choke, increasing the torque as she grabbed her leg and pulled down.

Alaina had moments where experience and instinct kicked in, and this ended up being one such moment. Manami was a great submission wrestler so anytime her legs came up to Alaina's face she began to equate that to a choke not a strike. As the powerful legs of Manami came up the amazon managed to shoot her left arm up, bracing it to keep Manami's legs from choking her. Meanwhile, her right arm was still free and move around back of Manami. Alaina had an idea and this was going to put the wolf down for good. She howled as she fought off the worst of the chokes effects with her left arm, maneuvering her legs underneath herself.

Using her right arm to hold Manami up, and shifting her left arm as best she could to hold one of Manami's thighs the amazon howled as she exerted effort to stand up, holding Manami up on her shoulders! "Time for the amazon to show the wolf her place... down at the bottom!" Alaina said, taking one step forward as she lift Manami and plunged her down for what was quite possibly the most colossal amabomb of her entire career, attempting to send Manami from the top of the van to the ground below!

It would be something of an understatement to say that Manami hadn’t been expecting these next few moments to turn out as they did. Though in hindsight, perhaps she should have. Aliana was no less stubborn than now than she had been throughout the entire match, thrashing about as a one-woman cyclone all over the complex. The wolf shouldn’t have expected a triangle choke to change that.

Rather than pacify her, the hold seemed to embolden the woman, the crushing power of the wolf’s thighs adding fuel to the fire. All at once she was hoisted up, and for the life of her, Manami couldn’t exactly tell what the woman was intending.

Not until the last second.

“You!” She snarled down at the Amazon, cranking the hold for all its worth in a desperate bid to bring her down. “You swine! Don’t you dare!”

It was the elevation. That was what really clued her in. For a moment, she didn’t think the Amazon would have been capable of it. That someone so self-righteous and of such disgustingly upright moral disposition. But she did.

“Kisama-!”

Manami fell - no, was thrown - straight towards the ground below. She impacted hard against the concrete, chipping it beneath her and sending fragments into the air around her. She rasped a sickly gasp as her back arched away from the floor, then fell back to the floor. She couldn’t move, could hardly breathe. It seemed as though the Amabomb had completely immobilized her.

Alaina looked down at her handiwork, satisfied that this time the wolf could not stand up to the raw power of the amazon! At least that is what she hoped. If this didn't do the trick she didn't know what would! Alaina slid down the windshield, hopping to the ground next to Manami, wasting no time in laying across her chest and hooking a leg. Alaina slapped the ground hard with her left palm, pressing down across Manami's chest with all the weight she could!

"Count it ref! She's done!" Alaina cried out triumphantly as she referee slid into place and began to count!

"ONE!"

Alaina nodded her head with the count, holding her left fist high. She had to have this.... she had to!

"TWO!"

Come on, one more second..... one more second! Alaina grit her teeth and winced, again pressing her weight down and keeping that leg hooked. Was this finally going to be the end of the pesky wolf?

Even if she found the last scrap of vitality that would allow her to stand again from the Amazon’s near-fruitful attempt at creating a wolf-sized crater in the pavement beneath them, Manami likely wouldn’t have used it anyway. All it would amount to was one last breath of defiance, one pointless effort before she immediately fell back to the ground again. There was nothing she despised more than wasted effort.

She’d lost tonight. That was the reality of things. Wasn’t the first time it had happened, likely wouldn’t be the last.

But never the end of things.

“THREE!”

The official's hand met the pavement for the last time. The woman in stripes immediately went to raise Aliana’s hand before quickly hurrying back inside to fetch the medical team. Manami remained still throughout the entire process, cracks in the ground spread beneath her form and her mouth slightly agape from the shock to her system.

Inside, the beast stewed. Its crimson eyes blazing fire in the darkness, growling softly in a silent rage that Aliana pray never surge forth...

Alaina stood tall... at least as tall as her battered body would allow as the referee raised her hand in victory. She put the wolf in her place, and hopefully taught her a lesson about bullying women around the hard way. Alaina looked down at Manami in contempt, shaking her head before hobbling back over towards the arena. She was going to need a long, hot shower to get rid of this pain as well as some time off. She knew the medical team was going to check her out, needing to clear her before she could do anything again.

She was walking out with a win, and against a woman as tough as Manami that was all she needed.
