The Wolf vs. The Amazon

As far as escaping the hold, Alaina was successful. Escaping while inflicting pain on Manami? Far less so. Alaina crashed hard into the wall, slipping down to a knee as she leaned against the cold, hard wall she just crashed in to. She took deep breaths as she saw Manami go through more doors. Great. At least these doors had windows for Alaina to look through. Manami was standing in the middle of the cars, no objects or traps seemingly apparent.

The amazon shoved the doors open, walking over trying to ignore all the pain she was in. She focused an intense glare at Manami and readied herself as she approached. Manami was like a snake, coiling to strike at all times. Alaina had to strike first. As she drew close the amazon tried spinning around and sending a hard kick sailing at the abdomen of Manami to try to stun her and create something of an opening for herself in their new venue!

As if one cue, Aliana came storming through the double doors after the wolf. In spite of the glare, Manami returned with a toothy grin as the larger woman neared her. She could have practically broadcasted her intentions by telegraph she was making things so painfully obvious. Manami would love to strike first, loved to take this woman down to the ground first in the less-than-forgiving environment.

Seems her opponent was of the preemptive mind this time around, however. The spinning kick was something she hadn’t exactly been expecting. It came across as something with a bit too much...finesse for such a burly figure. Even so, it mattered little in the end.

As the leg came sailing towards her core, Manami reached out and went to catch it between her arm and her side. Aliana certainly had the power to back her movements, if the force behind that kick was anything to attest to, but her speed had much to be desired. Having done that, she’d step forward and kick the back of the Amazon’s heel, sending her roughly down onto the pavement.

Alaina didn't even have the time to curse her luck as Manami caught her kick and then took her good leg out from underneath her sending her down to the ground! Alaina groaned and grabbed the back of her head as she landed. She still had tricks up her sleeve however. She coiled her held leg towards her and did the same with her free leg. If she could draw Manami in close she would them mule kick her in the abdomen as hard as she could with her free leg!

With all the hard surfaced around here the last thing Alaina needed was to be on the ground at a disadvantage. She had to rectify that quickly. If this kick did the trick she could scramble up to her feet. However,r if this bid failed it would be Alaina in a bad spot against a dangerous foe!

Ah, the ground game. Manami looked down at Aliana, seeing an absolute embarrassment of possibilities that she could have executed upon the vulnerable veteran. An ankle lock, an armbar, assuming a mounting position, going for a headlock perhaps. Being on the concrete only would have made her position all the more hazardous.

But perhaps getting ahead of herself wasn’t the best idea for the wolf.

She was pulled forward a mere moment after Aliana had fallen to the ground, just before finding a hard kick burying itself in her gut. The force was enough to knock her back, forcing her to abandon the hold and take careful steps back as she glared down at the Amazon. Clearly, she understood the danger of her environment just as well as Manami had. She didn’t intend to go down quite as easy as before. This was going to require some more planning on her part, evidently, as they neared the endgame.

Alaina got back up to her feet a quickly as she could, knowing that vertical is where she did her best work. Alaina didn't want to give Manami time to think or plan, the amazon had to be the aggressor! She moved right at Manami and tried to step in, swinging a quick elbow strike up at the side of Manami's now to try to hit her fast, and hit her hard. Alaina would then step back, grabbing Manami's arm and twisting her torso, attempting to Irish whip her into... or maybe up onto... a nearby car! Alaina also had the good graces to pick a large sedan, and not her small BMW coupe.

Trashing Manami was fun. Getting her own body trashed in return was painful. Trashing her car was just unforgivable!

Manami assumed that it was only a matter of time before Aliana regained her composure. Despite her early estimations of the woman, it was quickly becoming apparent that she had plenty more in the tank than the average wrestler. She furrowed her brows as she witnessed her draw near.

She went to withdraw, but found her body becoming sluggish and unresponsive. Fatigue was finally beginning to set in. Playing the long game was starting to work against her, the consequences becoming even more apparent as Aliana wrenched her arm away and was sent hard towards the van. Manami’s back collided with the front. She went with the momentum, throwing her body over the top to roll backward off of it onto the mirror. From there, she stayed in a crouched position, staring down the Amazon, twitching her eyebrow a tad as the wounds on her back reopened. This bout may have gone for a tad longer than she’d would have liked. The wolf had to sink her fangs in deep, soon.

Alaina watched as Manami rolled off and readied herself. Alaina glared at the woman and moved her way over to her. They were effectively in a street fight so Alaina would adjust tactics.

Alaina made her way over to Manami and sent a few hard punches aimed at her head! Alaina wanted to back pedal Manami into a corner or against a vehicle she knew she would be able to do real damage to the wolf. However she knew that Manami was a nasty, capable brawler. So was Alaina, so this was going to be interesting!

Manami brought her guard up the instant Aliana took a step towards her. She certainly seemed to be an advocate of the straightforward approach. She could be as predictable as she was dangerous. All she had to do was turn that against her.

The Amazon came at her with a string of haymakers, her fists cutting the air as they swarmed past her head. Manami had managed to evade the most of the barrage, taking quick steps as Aliana forced her back down the long run row of vehicles. She noticed an opening, however, as the last punch neared her temple.

Dragging her head back, Manami would reach out and grab the Amazon’s arm. Spinning to the side, she’d shoot her foot out and attempt to trip her larger adversary to send her stumbling forward. After throwing the woman face first into the hood an adjacent van, she’d keep her pinned there with a standing armbar, wrenching it further back and testing the limits of the bones stringing together that strong arm of hers.

Alaina grit her teeth and howled in agony as she was suddenly pressed up against the car and her arm again wrenched by Manami! Her scream echoed throughout the parking garage as she was pressed against the van! Alaina knew that this was bad, but she also knew she could get out of this although it was not going to be easy!

Alaina tensed her legs, using her strength to push Manami back. She was still stuck in the hold but if she wasn't wedged against the van she had freedom to move, and escape. Alaina tried to duck low and use what little room she could to maneuver herself to use her legs to free herself. All she wanted to do was catch Manami with a surprise kick to the head! The amazon just had to twist and maneuver herself until she had an angle, and then it would be Manami catching a surprise and jarring hit to the head if all went well!

“You're almost tolerable when your wailing like a baby.” Manami chuckled. “Maybe I’ll keep you like this and-”

A kick to the side of her head stopped those words cold. Of course. This was what she deserved for indulging herself.

Manami had, in this moment, abandoned notions of fairness or obligations to the rules. Her only aim at this point was to bring the Amazon down. And hard. The problem was in doing that in this vacant lot. She was simply too resistant for normal strategies. The Wolf Girl was going to have become a bit more unorthodox. A plan was starting to take shape in her head.

The wolf dropped low, feeling her head lighten from the kick. Her hands stayed on the floor, allowing Aliana to draw close. Once she was within arm’s reach, however, she’d pounce up and grab the woman by her leg, attempting to turn her sideways before attempting to throw her onto the van’s hood with a fallaway slam. While extremely taxing, she had thrown the woman before, she would do it again.
