The Wolf vs. The Amazon

Alaina dressed up in her tiger print one piece swimsuit, along with matching kneepads, as well as boots. She looked herself over in the mirror and checked herself out. Everything fit perfect and she was more than ready to kick Manami's ass. The sneak attack at the promo left a sour taste in her mouth. If her lackeys wanted to interfere today Alaina would lay them flat out then go back to beating Manami if she had to.

Alaina left the locker room, making her way down the backstage halls feeling confident, confident with a dash of vengeful. Manami was going to pay for sure, and was going to find out first-hand why Alaina was an opponent to be feared. Her muscles weren't just for show. Looking around at her environment she was already thinking of how to use her surroundings to amplify her offense.

Manami Kuroda:

Manami wasn’t a fan of this strategy. Her burning blood was difficult to satiate. The last thing she wanted to do was stand idly and wait for the opportunity to come rather than simply seize it herself.

But even she could see that the Amazon was going to be quite the beast to fell. If she wanted to win, she had to seize every advantage possible. Thankfully, the former champion was stupid enough to agree to the Falls Count Anywhere rule. Perhaps that was why she was eyeing the halls carefully as she went.

Aliana wasn’t looking hard enough, clearly. If she’d taken a couple moments to stop a survey her surroundings, she may have noticed the figure keeping to the shadows as she neared. Perhaps she wasn’t expecting a preemptive strike. Perhaps she was expecting Manami to play fair. What a naive woman.

“Do it.”

The referee gave a loud gulp as she made her way out from the corner. Waving a hand, she stopped Aliana before she could fully pass, keeping her attention

“Hello! Hello, Ms. Sanders. Sorry to bother you. I’m going to be to your referee for the match starting in a moment. I just wanted to remind you of the conditions of the Falls Count Anywhere rule, specifically on where and when you will be allowed to engage each other. It won’t take long. It can all be summed up in one word, actually.”

If the girl did her job properly, Manami would have slipped around Aliana with relative ease in the middle of that little speech. She would eye the halls carefully, and find the perfect instrument for the task ahead: a steel chair. Perfect. Steeling herself, she would make a run towards the taller woman, swinging the chair with all her might at her head.

“Anytime!”

Alaina was downright confused as the referee approached and began speaking. "It, what the he?" Alaina asked aloud. Her eyes widened as she pieced things together starting to turn around to see what was behind her.

She was a half second too late.

Mid-turn, the steel of the chair collided with her head! Alaina groaned loudly as she staggered forward in a limp legged daze, crumbling to the ground in a heap as her arms cradled her head! This was not at all the start she envisioned and she was down fast! She kicked her legs about as she squirmed on the ground, wondering what she was going to have to do to stop the sneak attack happy wolf...

Well, that was easier than she expected. Not that the Amazon should have still been standing after that, but the wolf was expecting this to take at least a couple more firm swings. Suppose not.

Aliana dropped like a sack of bricks. The moment she hit the floor, the match was underway. Manami looked down at the long-haired brunette with a wicked leer adorning her face. To think she would get to see her opponent so helpless this early. This was what a former Entropy champion looked like, did it? How promising. The Wolf Girl genuinely hoped her anticipation for this match wasn’t overblown.

"Come now, Aliana. A little piece of metal isn't going to stop you now, is it?"

Either way, this moment wasn’t getting away from her. The wolf pounced without a second thought, tossing the chair away scrambling atop of Aliana as she squirmed about on the ground. In an instant, Manami went to lock her strong legs around the amazon’s neck, pressing her weight down on her with a sitting triangle choke.

Alaina laid on the ground as Manami began to go to work. Before Alaina could push her off or wriggle free she found herself stuck in Manami's devastating hold! Groaning in pain, and her air supply being cut off Alaina was already in dire straits!

The amazon thrashed and flopped about, trying to get her knees and legs underneath her. Using her arms she would try desperately to grab Manami and use her legs to try to rise up, holding Manami in place! Alaina wasn't content to stay lime this however, trying to swing or spin her torso around fast enough to literally swing Manami into the nearby wall!

Things were off to a smooth start at the very least.

The former Entropy champion was on the ground and caught in a lethal hold between the wolf’s deadly legs. She struggled this way and that, thrashing her arms in desperation. It was quite the sight to see. It brought a twisted smile to Manami’s face. If the brunette were to stay like this for another minute or so, this match would end in an upset.

Of course, things couldn’t just stay this way. The audience knew that. The referee knew that. Aliana knew that. Even Manami knew that.

And it seems she was right to be concerned. With resounding strength, Aliana was managing to life the wolf up with what looked like relative ease. In one smooth motion, she was sent careening towards the wall, hitting her back and releasing the hold as she fell to her knees with a gasp. With a quick shake of her head, she looked back towards the amazon with a wide smirk on her face.

She could already feel the tremors beneath her feet. A storm was brewing and headed straight for her. Aliana wasn’t going to let that sneak attack go so easily.

Alaina felt herself finally free of Manami, staggering back and coughing for breath as she stumbles about. Alaina kept her eyes on Manami and knew she would be back on the attack in no time.

Alaina rushed at Manami as soon as she was up trying to lead with her knee. Alaina wanted to get all the momwntum she could before aiming the running knee strike right at Manami's jaw! Alaina had to work fast since she was already starting out with a chairshot to the head and painful submission locked in right after. Alaina had to make Manami feel as much pain as her!

Manami was still a bit dazed from that throw, but not enough to be caught unawares so easily.

She felt the vibrations pass beneath her feet. The stampede headed her way came into full view. There was only about a moment to react, but a moment was all she needed. Pushing forward, Manami forward rolled out of the way of the knee strike, letting the Amazon hit nothing but the bare wall beside them.

Even if it missed her, she could feel the resounding power and fury behind that strike. Did not want to get hit that hard this early on. Especially while she still had the initiative. For all her goading, the Wolf Girl was perfectly capable of realizing that the muscular former champion could end this scuffle in two seconds if given the chance.

“Caught off guard twice in a row, now? You’ve lost your edge, Aliana.” Assuming she had one to begin with.

Alaina collided with the wall and staggered back, slumping as she hobbled limp legged near a table.  She slumped to a knee and used an arm to brace herself on the table and prop herself up.  

"Ngh.... piss off ya sneaky little opportunist."  Alaina hissed back through her grit teeth.  She got up to move towards Manami but was still hobbled, stumbling as she moved and having to recover.  This was not good at all!  

Alaina still tried to stagger at Manami trying her best to engage the woman in a grapple!

Uh oh. Bum leg. Not a good thing to start a match off with. Things weren’t looking so hot for the all-mighty Amazon.

Still, Manami knew better than to take this woman lightly. It’s not as though she were any less dangerous now without some of her mobility. No, she needed to put her back down. Keep her guessing. She took a second to subtly glance around, taking in her surroundings. She was looking for a solution and, thankfully, she found one.

“Opportunist?” She reached towards the table behind her. Someone had left their water bottle half finished. Left it open, too. Splendid. “Quite.”

With a chuckle, she snapped her arm forward, throwing the bottle and its contents towards Aliana. Hopefully it would be enough a smoke screen, as the Wolf Girl leapt forward and brought shot her legs out, looking to nail her opponent with a dropkick.
