The Wolf vs. The Amazon

Alaina swatted the water bottle away as she found herself on the wrong end of Manami's trickery again! However, the water bottle did it's job as Alaina caught a hard dropkick to the chest, sending her down onto her back again!

The groaning amazon ribbed her chest, sitting up and trying to make it back up to her feet. She Ahmad to get something going and soon otherwise this pesky foe would chip away at her to wear her down. Manami was going to find out that it took a lot to wear down Alaina.

Still... Manami had the momentum and initiative right now leaving Alaina to try to play catch up. It was a spot Alaina was loathe to be in and one she had to get out of and soon.

A satisfying smack filled the hall after Manami nailed the Amazon with her dropkick.

Her wicked smirk grew even wider as she saw Aliana tumble backwards. She was managing to keep her ever crucial momentum so early in the match. She had no intentions on letting it slip away from her, either. As expected, her powerful opponent was nothing but persistent. The woman was already getting back up and into the fight once more.

Perfectly fine. All the Wolf Girl needed was to keep the former champion on her toes, and she was doing just that. She moved in to capitalize on the attack. Since she was already on the ground, she went low. Manami lunged to grab the Amazon’s leg before she got to her feet, putting her in a kneebar.

Alaina began sitting up when she felt Manami quickly fluidly grab her leg to lock in the knee lock! Alaina screamed as her knee felt like it was being rend apart as she was laid back on the floor in agony! She had to get out somehow, and she still had a free leg. Alaina tried her best to fight through the pain and kick at Manami as hard as she could. Alaina knew this wasn't going to get her free but she did hope that she could cause a bit of pain and distract Manami.

Using her pain and desperation to break free Alaina would sit up and fight through the pain, reaching out to grab at Manami and try to use her power to pry herself free! She wasn't sure any of her plan would work, but she knew doing something to escape felt better than laying there and letting her knee get ripped in half!

Figured she wouldn’t stay down for this one. Aliana tried her best to resist the hold, getting a good kick in that made Manami wince. But that was the beauty of a Falls Count Anwyhere match. That was all she could do with no ropes to crawl too. The only thing you could rely on was your own strength. That would work very well for Manami. It made sure she could maximize whatever damage her holds were capable of, while wearing out Alaina as best she could.

And yet, the wolf was still very aware of what would happen if the holds were reversed. If Aliana had her way, grabbing a limb of her own or working in a chokehold, Manami would be a thousand times worse off against her strength. She had to tread carefully.

“That’s not happening.”

Manami grabbed the ankle and started to twist. In spite of the Amazon’s attempt to pry her legs free, the Wolf Girl could still counter with a bit more pain of her own. Trying to shift Aliana’s concentration from breaking free to the pain surging down her leg.

From bad to worse... Alaina's attempts to escape only led to Manami keeping her hold in place as well as adding to it! Alaina howled as she fell back in agony, shaking her head feverishly as her hair whipped about. She was desperate and needed an escape right now. Alaina grunted as she sat up trying to reach forward with her hands. Alaina was trying to sit up and lean forward enough to try to wrap her hands around Manami's throat!

However, this was a difficult maneuver to pull off even if it seemed simple. Her positioning made it a risky proposition. If she failed to reach Alaina would look around behind her for something... anything... to grab hold of and then smash Manami in the face!

Desperation was clear in the face of the amazon. This small lady had her holds and Alaina seemingly was unable to escape them without resorting to methods she normally would never have considered.

Aliana was a surprisingly flexible woman. Manami couldn’t let up an inch of pressure if she wanted to keep her opponent down. The hand came closer and there wasn’t anything she could do about it. Aliana wanted the neck? She got it.

“Ghrk!”

The choke was tight and firm. The Amazon’s intent shown through the power in her grip. She wanted the Wolf GIrl off of her. Now. Didn’t mean it was going to happen, though. It was going to take more than a threatening grip to force Manami to let go. The worse thing anyone could do was grab a wolf by the neck. It just makes it want to lash out.

Manami bucked her hips and cranked the hold on her ankle tighter. If Aliana wanted to get out, she’d have to work for it.

Alaina wasn't able to wrap her hands around and choke Manami into letting go, and a frustrated, agonized amazon fell back letting out another loud scream of anguish! She began to use her arms to drag the two of them closer to a table, and while there was no rope break involved there were other ways to get out of this.

Alaina dragged and fought through the horrid pain as she reached back and grabbed hold of a chair, folding it and aiming it right at Manami! "How's this feel you little bitch?!" Alaina growled to Manami as she swung the chair and tried to bring it down hard on the head or back of Manami! Right now Alaina wanted out, no, needed to get out of the hold. A hard chair shot anywhere was paramount. Once free she could worry about accuracy.

So, Aliana had a chair. That was all that really needed to be said. A severely pissed off Amazon now had a piece of folding metal, aimed directly at her. She practically felt the pain before it hit her. If that made any sense. Her mind was thinking ahead of her body.

“Gah!”

The edge of the metal chair hit her square in her side. That was the only warning Manami needed to know to let go. She rolled away and clutched her side, looking back at Aliana with a wide grin about her face. Slowly, she made her way back to her feet, hoping to avoid the Amazon’s rage as long as she could.

“Quite the potty mouth, young lady.”

On the bright side Alaina was called young by a foe in the ring, or backstage. Still, that didn't make her feel any better about her situation. The amazon hobbled up still holding the chair and glared at Manami. She had an idea to get that pesky woman to shut up at least a little. Smiling, Alaina tossed the chair flat at Manami, hoping she could catch it or otherwise keep her held in front of her for even just a second.

Alaina followed and jumped up into the air, thrusting her feet forward as she tried her best to deliver a running dropkick into the chair trying to smash it right into Manami's face! While this wasn't her usual fare, it would be highly effective and give her a window to use her offense on Manami. Alaina already had ideas for ways to repay the torture she went through tenfold against Manami.

Manami wasn’t sure what exactly to expect from Aliana. Mostly because she seemed angry. Angry wasn’t something she wanted to mix with this Amazon. And that smile threw her off even more. When the chair came her way, she caught it with both hands, intending to use it as a shield for whatever the Amazon had in mind. Turns out, her opponent was counting on that.

“Gah!’

The metal banged against the bridge of her noise, rattling her skull as she fell back to the floor. The chair dropped out of grasp as her hands went up to the bridge of her nose. This was not a position she wanted to be in. She cracked her left eye open and looked towards the former champion with a cautious gaze. Slowly, she went to make her way up to the feet, not wanting to be caught off guard once Aliana went on the attack.
