Strange Things Afoot

"It's alright, we'll go together" Kelly mentioned. Not that she didn't feel anything bad would happen, but she wanted to see what was all there. Before they left Fate noticed how Alaina's last turn went. Was Alaina really how she said she was, or was she trying to shark them? She wasn't sure, but had a feeling their was a possibility of it. It wasn't something she wouldn't mention at the moment.

Alaina went up and looked things over. She was generally a healthy eater. This Wasn't even close to healthy. Alaina bit the bullet, getting herself a burger and mozzerella sticks. She got an order of fries and more mozzarella sticks not knowing what else they would want. She got a pitcher or soda and another of beer for them, she was driving and figured it would be best to lay off the alcohol.

She checked back at the two, hoping they were going to stay out of trouble ....

Both gals were behaving, though Fate had a look like she was eating silently judging Alaina as they got their foods and headed back to the lane. She didn't keep the look up for very long, though for some reason she felt there was a need to be cautious. Kelly noticed this too, but didn't think much of it. "Can't recall if you mentioned it, but when are you heading back?" Kelly had a feeling Alaina wouldn't be staying in town for much longer, didn't seem like there was a reason for it. "Not that I'm trying to get rid of you or anything like that."

"Well, I have a match coming up in a couple days so I was going to head back tomorrow morning." Alaina said as she looked at the two women. "So... what is with the weird looks you two just gave me? Is something wrong?" Alaina asked as she sat down, curious as to what the heck happened while she was gone.

"Oh." Kelly mentioned. "So much for trying to convince you to stay for some in-ring work before you go. Oh well no problem." She wasn't sure what Alaina meant at first, but then she had a feeling it was what she noticed Fate doing earlier. She looked towards her 'daughter' and mentioned "Ask her." Fate had no issues mentioning it. "Had a feeling you may be trying to shark us. You know, say you're not that good, but then when we drop our guard and least expect it you rack up the score and edge us out. Seen it happen a lot before so sometimes I get a bit suspicious when I hear someone say that. Not trying to be mean or anything like that. Sorry if that's what you thought."

Alaina chuckled a bit and slapped her leg. "No, the embarrassingly bad bowling you have seen from me is the best I can do, I am not trying to shark anyone. Never heard that term used before, but I like it." Alaina added with a chuckle. Her finger went to her chin and she began tapping it as if she was in thought. "You know, since my match isn't tomorrow or anything I imagine I could stick around longer or do a bit more if you guys don't mind me sticking around?"

"That might not be a bad idea. It might help her get properly tuned up physically, and it would seem fitting for it to be the same one who helped regain her mental focus" Fate suggested. "Agreed" Kelly stated. "Plus for what you were about to do earlier, someone's gotta show how to do it properly...even if it's something you and them were in on." Before Fate could object to that Kelly added "It would be unfair and a bit bias if I did it." Fate didn't want to say more, having a feeling Kelly was right on that and her mom would hold even less back. That and her mother did have a point. "I guess that makes sense." Fate knew the one person who gave Kelly a hard time would get her lesson later on, though she tried not to think about that.

Alaina smiled at the suggestion. "Awesome, we can finish up here and throw on some training gear. I am good to throw down with you guys and train. Ingwt the feeling we could all use the ring work." Alaina said with a grin.

“At this hour?” Fate asked. “She looks alright, but hasn’t she been drinking? I don’t think that be a good idea to mix booze and wrestling” Fate brought up, recalling some of what her mom has consumed tonight so far. While Kelly did feel fine right now, Fate did have a point, who knows when it could hit.

"Ok, I gotcha. Tonight, early tomorrow... either one works for me so you guys just let me know what the deal is and I will go along with it." Alaina said with a smile before looking over at Kelly. "Do you have a preference for when we scrap in the ring?"
