Peggy McIntyre vs. Kei

Peggy's punch was blocked and when Kei's connected Peggy howled as she stumbled back, grabbing her jaw in her hands and stumbling all the way to the ropes in a daze! She shook her head and was hobbling limp-legged as she tried to get back into it. She couldn't let Kei get away with that, so she stumbled forward and swung her leg around in an attempt to land a hard kick to the side of Kei's head!

Seeing Peggy back up towards the ropes Kei looked determined to get the next strike off before Peggy could. She had something lined up seeing Peggy dazed, but before she could react she saw Peggy shaking it off and about to come for her. With the time it took Peggy to shake it off and return first over her own Kei saw the leg come up and put an arm up to block it.

If she managed to do that she would respond with a kick of her, however instead of up high she would aim for the mid-section to set Peggy up for a piledriver.

Peggy moved in, stepping right into a kick to the stomach! Peggy groaned and doubled over, hobbling back a couple steps on limp legs, wheezing as the wind was knocked out of her.

Peggy was right where Kei, or anyone for that matter would want her as the piledriver found its mark. Whatever Kei wanted to do next to Peggy it be a safe bet she could do so without interruption. It took her a few extra seconds before she stood up after the impact, strangely not looking at Peggy before or after getting back to her feet.

Alaina and Wes did have concerns going into this one, however what happened next would make multiple bells and whistles go off that something serious is going on inside Kei's head. Instead of following up with a possible attack or even a pin she moved towards the ropes before sliding under them. This was a shock to many as Kei left the ring and looked like she was going to take off. Even the referee was caught off guard by this and it took him a few seconds in all of the confusion to go on to start putting a ten count on her.

"What the fuck?!" Wes couldn't believe what he saw. Even with her not being all there he did not expect to see her walking away like that. He turned towards Alaina and asked her "Did I just see what I thought I saw?"

Peggy was down and out, barely moving as the referee counted. She tensed up, knowing more punishment was coming.

Until it never came.

Peggy heard the referee count to six as she reached for the nearby ropes and pulled herself up, looking up the ramp as Kei left. "W-what the he'll? Get back her ya crazy old bitchy! Ya can'take just walk away, I..... I have more fight left n' ya can'take just act like you are done with me!" Peggy shouted. She felt like Kei didn'the even see Peggy as worth her time. Even though as the ten count was reached and Peggy declared winner by count out the young woman's confidence which was already low sank further. She stood in the ring shaking her head with her hands on her hips for a moment before leaving the arena.

Backstage Alaina was silent. The same woman who put her through hell twice over in matches just left the ring. Furthermore a 20 year old trying to get her start and hitting a wall was now having a crisis of confidence. In Alaina's mind no good came from this matchup.

By the time the dazed Peggy got back to her feet and began talking Kei was already through the curtain. Even if she wasn’t Peggy’s words would have went in one ear and out the other. Those who witnessed what just went down in the arena were shocked as these were not the actions of someone who put everything they’ve ever had into the sport and doing so and maintaining both her own and the sport’s dignity and integrity and not treating it like a sideshow in the process. Something had to be up and some of the fans could be heard wondering why this happened.

Not getting a word out of Alaina made Wes begin to visibly panic. Whatever caused his wife to walk out like that he wanted to help, but he didn’t know what to say or do. He turned to Alaina and asked if her she could help him talk to the women once she got back to the locker room area. Maybe the two of them could get to the bottom of this if they put their heads together.
