The beginning of an end to an Era (Sarah and Seraphim)

"Well, blood may be thicker than water, but when there's no blood left, what else do you have?" In Seraphim's own way, it was how she said her friends were her family, and she wouldn't have it any other way. She had grown up with them on streets, seen quite a few die from illness and brutality, and lived among these people like they were her own flesh and blood. Now... all but one of them were gone, and since she had joined the AFW, it felt like she was rebuilding that family again, and she would be damned it some organization was going to take it away from her.

Of course, hearing Sarah's reason was more than enough to put Seraphim at an end to this already. She couldn't stand this girl anymore, and if she thought she was impressing anyone from her behavior, she was damn wrong, and a fool at heart.

"If that's your reason-" Seraphim started to say, her tone sounding dismissive as she stood up, taking a long sigh before turning around to face the door like she was ready to head for it. "-then I have nothing else to say, and I'm gone."

Sarah shrugged. She wasn't even looking at Seraphim as she searched around the appartment. "No one's stopping you," she replied. "I know you don't like me, I'm not too fond of you either. Why should I waste my time with this?" She pointed at the entrance. "There's the door. Hope it hits you on the way out." Sarah continued rumaging around, and then she found what she was ooking for. It was the jacket belonging to Shanari Drackanov that Sarah had taken from her after their match.

"Or," Sarah suddenly continued. "You could sit down, shut up, take into consideration that I might know what I'm doing, and that you need all the help you can get. Whether I like it or not they're after me now too, and maybe, just maybe, you can stop looking down your nose at me to see the big picture." Sarah could always get another girl for the job, but Seraphim was different. Sarah's reasons may not be noble but she was none-the-less determined. She held out her hand. "Now if you mind coming down from your high-horse you can hand me some nails while I do this."

At first, Seraphim didn't let Sarah Gatt's words bother her at all. This woman's insults were like that of a bullies, and came across as utterly simple to ignore. Seraphim knew this woman's type, and she wasn't going to stick around to put up with it any longer. It was a long walk, but big deal, she had tracked many miles in her life, what was a few more?

Seraphim had her hand on the door by the time Sarah brought on her next few words, causing the white-haired girl to stop for a brief moment. She told herself she would humor Sarah by listening to the last things she had to say, but a few moments into it as Sarah went on, there was a serious weight to her words that Seraphim couldn't ignore, like a startling realization she could no longer turn her blind eye to.

Then, Seraphim let go of the door and turned back around, like she was going to listen now. She decided to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Though, as heavy and serious as this situation was, the mood lightened just a little as Sarah's words about the door hitting her on the way out actually happened. Seraphim had still been standing in the doorway when she turned aorund and let go of the door, finding that a few moments later, it came to hit her in the back of the head, causing her to blink a few times, embarressed with herself that something so foolish happened, but she tried playing it off.

"...Fine. Just... try not to treat this whole thing lightly. You're playing with fire hear, and last I checked, it's the bitch who gets closest to it that burns the quickest."

Sarah laughed when Seaphim did just what she said, the door hitting her as she was about to leave. Seeing she wasn't going to leave she turned back to her work. She placed Shanari's jacket up against the wall where her trophies were posted, right next to Jenna Mason's red tang top. Then she placed a nail in one of the jacket's shoulders and started hammering through it into the wall.

"The Era of Hell has around twelve members, all of them heel wrestlers," Sarah said as she worked. "Their main goal is posess all the title belts in the AFW, and gain all the wealth and fame that follows. Their seconds in command are Sha and Nha, their third in command is-" Sarah stopped to snicker, and jerked her thumb at the jacket she was naiiling up. "Well, was Shanari Drackanov. I don't know anything about their leader, or leaders." Sarah looked back at Seraphim for a second. "Your turn."

At first, the details she was hearing wasn't too new to Seraphim. She normally wasn't the type to brush up on her opponents, enjoying the surprise of an upcoming match. But when you had made a sworn enemy, it was always good to have all the dirt you possibly could, so she had done her small share of research. However, when she was in the middle of nailing up the jacket, and said that name, Shanari, Seraphim's crimson eye lit up, and she stood firm, probably more interested now than she ever had been since she met with Sarah.

"Shanari?? What do you know about her now? Where is she and what happened??" It was clear that Seraphim was deeply interested by the subject, even tense about it, wanting everything she could know about it. Sarah may have asked for details from Seraphim, but right now they hit a very important topic, and for Sharaiya's sake, she would learn what she could about her missing sister in hopes of her return.

Pausing in her work Sarah looked at Seraphim questionably. Out of all the things she had said Shanari was the least interesting. "What do you care?" she asked disdainfully. She drove the last nail into the wall and the jacket was up. Stepping back Sarah inspected her handiwork of her collection.

"I fought her," Sarah answered as she did this. "Kicked her ass, in fact. You know, I think I beat her so bad she went insane. It was funny, you should have been there. If your looking for her, try the hospital."

That reaction she got from Sarah actually pushed some of Seraphim's buttons, and she couldn't contain herself from a small outburst. "Fuck off!!" She barked at the blond wrestler, her right fist clenched as she sat at the edge of her seat, the other tightly gripping the arm of the chair. She knew she could try and stay calm, but a realization in the midst of her outburst hit her, and she decided to lay on a startling fact to Sarah as she was finishing her little trophy nailing moment, souring the entire situation.

"Doesn't that make you're neanderthal mind think for just a fuckin' moment that maybe some of the members in the Era of Hell are there because of your doing?!" Did she have to spell it out for her? Sarah probably was the reason Shanari was in the Era in the first place!!! And who's to say that she was the only one??

Sarah's mind was mostly occupied with the thought of how well her new trophy looked on the wall, holding up her hands to replicate a picture frame. Seraphim's statement made her roll her eyes, though the Crimson Eye would never see it. "I don't know why you're so interested in her, and frankly I don't care," she answered. "Shanari was in the Era of Hell long before I took her on, she's the reason I'm going after them. In fact, this should make you more mad at them. They're the ones who who sent her after me. They're the ones who threw her to the wolves."

"I know her sister, that's why." Seraphim rhetorded back like this was a heated arguement to her. Normally Seraphim was level headed and only showed her temper in the ring, but right now, Sarah Gatt was pushing it, and Serpahim wasn't going to tolerate it. She knew she couldn't over react and throw a punch or get into a physical fight with the girl, that would just be pointless and they'd probably knock eachother out, but at the same time, Seraphim still had that desire, and tried to keep it all intact.

"Not all of them are inhumane pricks like yourself, and you know, maybe, just maybe there's a better way to defeating them other than beating the living Hell out of them, don't you think?" Hell, the idea seemed fun at first, she had no qualms in fighting, but this entire situation was something that should be seen in a different light.

She's pretty judgemental for a killer, Sarah thought to herself dryly. She was tempted to say it out loud but knew it would push Seraphim over the edge at this point.

"Is that right?" Sarah said idly. Satisfied with her work she turned back to Seraphim, and there was a dark grin on her face. "Because I heard an interesting story about you. Apparently you nearly beat a girl to death in the medical ward. And apparently that girl belonged to the Era of Hell." Seraphim's attack on Zasashi had already spread around the AFW. That was the point when Sarah had become interested in her. "That makes what your saying now a bit hypocritical, don't you think?"
