Josh Rogers vs Peggy McIntyre

Color Josh surprised. Even after Josh had tossed Peggy around and bulldozed into her, she still had enough in her to kick out of the pin, and talk trash to him after! “Heh. Is that right?” Josh replied through a grin as he reached down to grab onto her wrist before attempting to pull her back up to her feet.

“Tell ya what. How ‘bout when we wrap this up, we go grab us a bite to eat or somethin’? Loser buys.” Perhaps an odd place to ask someone out, but Josh clearly had no problem with it. Besides, the added official, albeit an unofficial one, could be a fun way to add some stakes to this match.

Peggy was hurting as she was yanked up.  The surprise proposition left her speechless.  She tried to, say something..... anything.  However a weak mutter and smile accompanied by a nod is all she could muster.

She still had a match to win.  The crowd was still cheering her kickout, and Peggy knew she could use that to ride her way back into momentum!

In the absence of a plan, Peggy reared back and stepped into a hard punch to Josh's face!  She followed up with a couple hard kicks followed by reaching up for his hair!  If Peggy could she knew she had to stun him somehow.  In her mind a couple back to back snapmares seemed to be a nice way to pull that off!

If Jesse were here, she probably would’ve slammed her own face into her palm, then proceeded to scream at Josh for picking the worst possible time to try to ask someone out. She’d probably be right for it too, but then again, she wasn’t here. And, in a move that filled Josh with a brief moment of immense joy, Peggy accepted his offer for a date!

Josh smiled brightly despite the fatigue wearing on his large form. But before he had a chance to say or do anything to celebrate, a fist flew right into his face! “Ugh!” he grunted out as his head whipped back, while a pair of kicks hit against his body, each producing another fresh grunt of pain from the giant.

Then she grabbed onto his blonde hair. Normally the big guy would’ve had little issue merely standing his ground to avoid being taken down with a snapmare by someone of Peggy’s size. But once again, she’d wisely knocked him off balance before attempting it, and so he found himself rolling forward and landing with a thud on his lower back and rear. Combined with the strikes she’d hammered him with, the move made Josh a little dizzy, enough so that he’d need a second or two before trying to get back up would seem manageable. Unfortunately, it wasn’t very likely Peggy would have any interest in waiting for that to happen...

"Ya better be a man o' yer word because I don't plan on losin' this fight!" Peggy said as she finished snapmaring Josh around. She took a deep breath and whipped Josh over into the corner again. She was running on empty and looked up at the top turnbuckle. She needed to get him to a sitting position on top of that again, but this time facing away. This wasn't going to be easy!

"Lose some weight big guy... ya make it hard for me to lift ya at all!" Peggy grunted as she put everything she had into spinning him around and getting him sitting up on that turnbuckle! If she could get him up there she would land one last hard punch to the side of his head and wrap her feet up in the ropes. She wanted to hit him with Luck Of The Irish, her spider suplex into top rope leg drop finisher more than anything. First she had to hit this giant guy with the spider suplex.....

Josh was still dizzy from the snapmare when he was guided up and sent toward the corner. He turned and smacked against the turnbuckles back first. His arms draped over the ropes, and he shook his head to try to brush the cobwebs off. But Peggy was on him again before enough progress could be made there.

“Ugh...” he groaned as he was turned and slowly pushed up the corner until he was sitting over the top turnbuckle. He had about a second to look out at the crowd from a perspective he was entirely unused to, before a heavy punch blasted into the side of his head. Peggy was no olympic boxer, and Josh was perfectly capable of taking a few hits without any problem. But both of Peggy’s punches had been strong and caught him off guard. And more importantly, the last one stunned him long enough for the Irish girl to get in position behind him and wrap her arms around him.

The giant felt Peggy’s front pressing against him, and for the brief moment he was allowed to enjoy it, he did just that. But then he felt himself quickly tilting backward. “What the-- UGH!!” he cried out as his big frame suddenly crashed onto the canvas with a thunderous impact that shook the ring! He’d landed right on his neck and upper back, and groaned while groggily rolling onto his back. The crowd exploded into a unanimous gasp of surprise followed immediately with loud cheers and applause, though all Josh could do was lay still as a corpse while staring up at the arena lights.

Peggy was as excited as she could be! This was looking like the first time she would use her finisher in AFW and she shouted out with her hands in the air! "Who is ready for the Luck Of The Irish!?!" Peggy shouted as the crowd cheered. Peggy leapt up into the air as high as she could extending her leg and looking to bring the top rope leg drop crashing down on top of Josh to complete her finisher!

She was confident she would have him pinned, but Peggy wanted to give a little extra zing to this ending... provided it was in fact the end of the match. If she was able to complete her finisher, she should wrap her legs around Josh's neck to place him in a legscissor choke instead of going for the pin!

Josh was far too dazed to notice Peggy rallying the crowd from her perch on the top rope. In fact, he didn’t notice anything at all about her presence until it took the form of an angelic silhouette figure blocking out the arena lights above him. And immediately after, her leg came crashing down over his head and neck!

“Guh!” Josh cried out as the impact came just short of knocking the giant out cold! If Peggy had wanted to pin him then and there, chances were she most likely could’ve. But instead he felt her legs coiling around his neck like a python, followed by an incredible amount of pain and pressure being applied!

“NGH!!” he grunted through grit teeth while his hands pawed at her legs helplessly. His legs lightly kicked about, but that wasn’t helping matters either. Had he been unscathed at this point, his strong arms might’ve been able to pry Peggy’s legs apart. But in his current state that seemed all but impossible. He fought against the constricting pressure for as long as he could, but soon his vision started fading, and oxygen was becoming scarce. Obviously he didn’t want to lose in his debut match. But he wanted to get choked out even less.

Finally, just when it seemed he was about to slip into unconsciousness, his hand weakly began to tap on Peggy’s thigh to signal his submission.

As soon as Peggy felt Josh tap, she looked at the referee who signaled for the bell. As soon as it rang, she jumped up and held her arms up high as the crowd cheered for her! She did a little strut around the ring and posed next to Josh, putting her foot on his chest as she flexed. Sure, she was not anywhere near as fit as her amazonian or cowgirl counterparts that she liked to emulate but it felt so good to win that she didn't care.

Peggy looked down at the groggy Josh and straddled his chest leaning down to bring her face up to his. "I ain't a cheap date lad, but a date is what ya got. Make it a good one ya big oaf." Peggy said as she moved down to give him a kiss on the cheek. Peggy sat up and got off Josh, her face noticeably more red than it had been previously. Peggy moved over to the ropes and sat on the middle rope, looking back at Josh. "Are ya comin' or what? I don't have all day ya know." Peggy said as she held the ropes apart for Josh once he was able to get up and exit the ring.

Once Peggy’s legs uncoiled from around his head and neck, Josh began to cough profusely, then just groaned and laid there staring up at the lights while the redhead walked around and took in the crowd’s cheers. When she struck a dominant pose over him by putting her foot on his chest, Josh looked up at her, and from his position he suddenly didn’t feel so much bigger than her. And had she been just about anyone else, the giant probably would’ve been more bothered by getting stepped on like this. But, even as imposing and powerful as she looked right then, there was also something incredibly cute about seeing her like that.

She stepped off of his chest, only to sit on it next, and a small groan was forced from Josh’s lips as her weight settled on top of him, with her thighs lightly hugging his ribs. He blushed a bit as Peggy lowered her face until it was just above his, reminded him of his promise, then kissed his cheek. Josh was still too winded to immediately muster a reply, but he’d still just started to get comfortable enough there that he would’t have minded staying there a little longer.

But Peggy climbed off of him and went over to the ropes. Only after she called out to him again did the big guy groan while pulling himself to sit up. His head and body still ached like hell, but Josh managed to slowly bring himself back to his feet and walk toward the ropes. But rather than exit, he instead sat his weight on the middle rope, facing Peggy. “Ladies first,” he said, gesturing out with his hand and smiling softly in spite of his aches and pains.

Peggy couldn't help but smile. This guy seemed into her, for the first time in her life she had a guy chasing after her and she found it to her liking. "Ever the gent ya are, I could get used to this." Peggy said as she exit the ring, holding the ropes for him on the other side by sitting on the middle rope. "Now your turn big guy. I look forward to this ya know." She said quietly, almost sheepishly as she looked up into his eyes.
