Josh Rogers vs Peggy McIntyre

You’d think there wouldn’t be much that could intimidate a guy as big as Josh. But the circumstances tonight weren’t exactly usual for him. It was his big debut in AFW, his chance to represent the Rogers family and his home promotion in New Mexico. It was in front of a crowd several times larger than any he’d ever competed against before. Oh, and his opponent was a gorgeous Irish angel he’d recently met, who had been able to give Julia a run for her money... Yeah, there were some butterflies for sure. But Josh was a tough, confident guy. Tonight was a big night, but he was ready to go out and own it.

Soon Cut To The Chase by Rush began to play over the arena’s speakers. While the soft intro built up, he took a few moments to take some big breaths. But once the beat and guitars picked up, his game face was on. “Alright. Lets do this.” the behemoth said as he walked through the curtain and onto the stage. A decent portion of the crowd gasped at the size of the newcomer, a reaction Josh was used to and hardly even paid attention to.

His eyes were focused as he walked down the aisle and climbed up onto the apron of the ring. He pulled the top rope down and stepped over it to enter the ring and immediately went into his corner to await the arrival of Peggy McIntyre. It didn’t matter how perfect she’d seemed when they met, or that tonight strangely felt almost as much like a date as a scheduled match for him. He planned on showing Peggy that he had the talent to match his muscles...and possibly go for some drinks after if he played his cards right.

Peggy's music began to play, and the Irish woman came out, holding her arms up high as she walked straight down the ramp appearing to be all business. She was clad in her usual green one-piece swimsuit, gold kneepads, gold elbow pads, and green boots. She got to the end of the ramp and climbed up the nearby ring stairs up onto the apron, staring right at Josh as she climbed between the ropes. She didn't smile at him although deep down she wanted to. Peggy's tactics earned her a loud but mixed reaction and she was all right with that. Some people didn't like her style, but she did what she had to in order to win.

Peggy looked Josh over... he had a hell of a body on him. She got vibes that he was into her but she didn't know how to react earlier. Guys usually strayed away from her because she was a tomboy who liked to fight and wrestle. Peggy noted that Josh was a wall of pure muscle, sexy muscle... while she was 5'6'' and a hair shy of 150lbs she was hardly what one would call muscular. She had him pegged as a guy who would likely be into super fit women. No matter, he was across from her inside the ropes of a wrestling ring and she was intent on walking out victorious.

"Joshy boy, I hope yer ready for a proper ass kickin.' I aim to give ya a hell of a beatdown lad n' I'm more equipped ta do it than ya probably think."

Josh hardly even noticed the crowd’s presence once Peggy appeared on stage. In fact he almost forgot they were there altogether. His eyes remained focused on the Irish woman and her emerald-green one-piece as she strode down the aisle and entered the ring. And when her eyes scanned him over, he couldn’t help but do the same to her. Though while Peggy was likely analyzing her opponent to help with her strategy for a match, Josh was just taking in everything he found perfect about the redhead.

And then she threw some trash talk his way. God, that voice... If angels existed, he imagined they probably sounded a lot like Peggy. With that accent she could talk as much trash as she wanted and every bit of it was going to be perfectly welcome. Though that didn’t mean he wouldn’t throw back some banter of his own.

“Heh. You might’ve given Julia a run for her money a while back, but...” he flexed his huge right bicep and gave it a pat with his hand. “I’m not exactly Julia.” Josh said with a wink. And with that he backed up into his corner again and waited for the bell to ring.

"No kiddin' yer not Julia. I can run circles around ya, while I had trouble keepin' up with that one." Peggy said as she herself began to move around Josh as the bell rang. She knew a direct head-on approach was doomed to fail here tonight. She had to be fast, and she had to execute flawlessly in order to topple this mountain of a man. "You won't know what hit ya after i am through... I am faster n' I look laddie!"

As she moved, she quickly rushed in, going very low and using her legs to kick the back of his knees as hard as she could while using her other leg to kick in on Joshes ankles to send him down to the mat with a drop toehold! As soon as he hit, Peggy would bounce up and back off, hit and run. He was the one going for knockouts, she was going to have to chip away at him in order to really wear him down......

Peggy clearly wasn’t intimidated by Josh’s muscles, and her quick retort practically left him speechless, with no comeback coming to mind at all. If this had purely been a battle of banter, Peggy could’ve been declared the unanimous winner right then and there. Fortunately that wasn’t the case, though once the bell rang and Josh moved out toward the center of the ring, his Irish foe was already dancing around him faster than he could follow.

“Yeah? Well that ain’t gonna be enough t-- Ugh!!” He suddenly grunted out as Peggy kicked the back of his knees and tripped him forward with the drop toe hold! The large man stumbled forward and fell right onto his hands and knees. Barely ten seconds into the match, and the behemoth had already been taken off his feet by a woman he had almost a foot and a hundred pounds over! That was a tad embarrassing, but he pulled himself up as soon as he could, only to find Peggy was already well out of reach.

“Heh. Lucky shot. Bet it won’t happen again.” he said, practically daring Peggy to try tripping him again. He put his hands up and slowly shuffled toward her, doing his best to constantly adjust to stay facing her knowing she likely wouldn’t just be sitting still. Then if he got close enough, he’d lunge out with his big arms and attempt to catch her in a side headlock. She was playing things smart right out of the gate, but if Josh could get a hold of her and stop her from moving around so much, things would likely go a lot more smoothly for him.

Peggy circled a bit as Josh got up, grinning ear to ear as she did. "Lucky? Thats not luck that is me knowing what I'm doin' inside the ropes more than you." Peggy said as she moved in, looking to land a couple quick knee's to the abdomen before retreating. However, Peggy did make her first mental mistake of the match: She knew Josh had more reach than her, but failed to realize his reach was as great as it was.... As she moved in she found herself in a side headlock!

"Ungh... bastard!" Peggy groaned as she was indeed stuck. There was no way she could power out or lift him up for a backdrop. Peggy had to try something.... As Josh held her in a sid headlock she grabbed onto him with her arms and raised her legs up around his waist, beginning to squeeze down as hard as she could! "Anything you can do I can do better!" Peggy said as she hoped to cause his grip to loosen at least a little. If all else failed, Peggy had another plan... Josh's face was close, and she knew she had fingernails that would sting like the dickens if she could rake his eyes quickly!

Much as Josh would’ve liked to be able to refute Peggy’s comment, but she was probably right. Not that he was going to admit it, of course. The Irish lass was already confident enough as it was despite the quite noticeable size advantage he had over her. But that might’ve changed a bit once Josh managed to catch Peggy in a headlock, though not without grunting as he took a knee to the gut in the process.

“Heh. Nice try. But now I’ve got--Ngh!” he suddenly grunted as Peggy’s legs slung around his chiseled abs and started squeezing. Under different circumstances he would’ve been perfectly fine with this Irish beauty coiling herself around him. And even now it wasn’t terrible. It did hurt, but with Josh’s massive frame, it hurt considerably less than it might’ve for a lot of others. He could try to just pit his headlock against Peggy’s bodyscissor and hope his strength won out. But as smart as the redhead had been thus far, something told him she wouldn’t just let that happen. Then again, what else could she do from here?

So Josh just continued to squeeze on Peggy’s head and neck with his massive arm, curious to see how long her body scissor would hold out. “I ain’t too sure about that. But feel free to try.”

Peggys squeeze was not working. She just couldn't possibly keep up with Josh's power even if it was her legs she was using. Peggy reached a hand up to Joshes face, somewhat reluctantly. "Josh, I ain't a loser 'cause I will do whatever it takes to win. Remember that one!" Peggy shouted as she raked his eyes!

Peggy had to get free and make sure that something like this didn't happen for the rest of the match. Josh was too big and too strong for her to possibly contend with. If she got caught again she was in serious trouble. If Peggy did manage to free herself she would make a mad dash over towards the ropes, jumping up on the middle rope and flying back at Josh, looking to plant him in the upper chest with a dropkick!

Josh felt Peggy’s hands moving up and over his face. He figured it was probably just her desperately trying to distract him from the headlock he was applying. Well, he was half right. But he didn’t expect her nails to suddenly rake on his eyes!

“Agh! Fuck!” he shouted, immediately dropping the Irish woman so his hands could move up over his eyes. Then with his vision blocked off, he didn’t even see Peggy run to and leap off the ropes, but he damn sure felt her boots crash into his toned chest like a cannonball.

“Ugh!” the large man gasped out as the hit sent him stumbling backward. He struggled to even keep his balance, and eventually fell back against the ropes behind him. Josh’s arm slung itself over the top rope to keep himself from falling completely, but he wasn’t in the most defensible position as he tried to push himself back solidly onto his feet again.

Peggy saw Josh slumped on the ropes and knew he had to get away from them if she wanted to catch him in some sort of hold. She also had to keep moving as long as he was still standing, whether aided by the ropes or not. Peggy rushed in and jumped up, looking to wrap her legs around his head! For a split second, Peggy felt sort of awkward in this position as Josh was after all a man. The bold Irish woman blushed a bit as she leaned back, intent on hitting him with a hurricanrana! He ends up on his back and Peggy has him in the center of the ring... she couldn't ask for more!

All she could hope was that he didn't power his way into a reversal.....
