Fancy meeting you here

Shido nodded as Daisuke explained the dynamic she has with Sion, but his face was extremely easy to read. He was super skeptical but tried everything in his power to communicate that he was ok with it. "That's, uh, quite interesting...." he'd continue "Well, I have no right to judge. If it works for you guys, keep it up. " he tried to explain his view on the matter while turning his attention to the game before he had to see another weird sight like more face licking. The final period would come up soon and he just hoped that there wouldn't be more fights pm on the ice, as he didn't wish to see more people get hurt.

Daisuke wasn't sure if that was something Shido liked to see or not. "Er..sorry if that wasn't you type of thing Shido, we were just messing with ya."

There were more physical moments but nothing that got heated to the point where the gloves would drop. Things were pretty close late in the game and the lady that came out on top in that fight had a chance to put her team ahead with less than a minute ago. It took her a while but Daisuke found someone in the game to really get behind, which Sion, Lina, and Lita too decided to join in with Dai's encouragement given the player in question did play good today.

Daisuke's enthusiasm for the player she liked was infectious. As was her enthusiasm in general. Shido would soon find himself joining them in rooting for said player. It was the end of the last period and Their gal on the ice managed to score a point during the last minute and win the home team the game!

This got a very sizable crowd reaction. After it died down a bit, Shido asked everyone. "Hey, we were already on the ice for that contest earlier. Think we might be able to meet the players after the game and congratulate them?"

"Hard to say" Sion tells him. "Depends how long it takes them to wrap things up and if they are in a hurry to leave or not. Back home depending on the league some would and some wouldn't so I guess it be up to chance." They weren't against giving it a shot though.

Daisuke already knew where their dressing room area was as they passed it when they went to do the on ice thing earlier. "Sometimes though it can be difficult to tell who's who without their jersey on. Something tells me you want to see a certain someone again." He playfully nudges her shoulder.

"I'll go with you guys." Shido volunteered. He earned his nickname of "fanboy" for a reason and was eager to meet players of a sport he had just come to learn more about and this was an opportunity to do so, even if Daisuke just wanted to get closer to a hockey player she was having a crush on.

"Man I wish they let us keep the sticks and gear we used earlier. I'd totally have one of them sign it!"

"As neat as that would be then would they use?" Daisuke asked him as they headed in that direction. "Still that's a lot of money you got earlier so shut up :p" she teased him as he did leave with something. As they went to where the players were Lita asked him "I'm guessing with how things went today you'll come to their next game hmmm?" She wondering if him getting as interested as he was today if he really will stay interested in this or if the novelty effect will wear off.

As they get near the room Daisuke can gets the feeling they might be waiting awhile. A couple other people were there as well but they looked like they had business going on here.

Shido turned to the group to entertain Daisuke's teasing. "I'd love to come to another game. Will you guys all come again so we can see the next one as a group?" he asked, hoping to hang with everyone again, sometime.

Shido noticed everyone stop before arriving at their destination. "Who are these guys, exactly? How long do you think we'll be waiting?" He asked, unsure of exactly how they'd end up seeing the players they had become fond of.

"Maybe people with one of the team's or arena itself?" Lina suggested even though she wasn't sure but that sounded about right. "Hard to say" Sion tells him. "Having played myself while it technically takes a few minutes or to get undressed, for competitive teams they usually take their time and talk about things with the game and such." As he finishes adding that some don't go to the room right away as some get interviewed as they come off the ice then catch up with everyone else, the one player that caught their attention the most during the game passed by. She noticed them and grinned before going inside.

"Gotcha. Thanks, Sion." Shido said after hearing his explanation for the team could be up to in the locker room. Upon seeing the player of interest pass by and smile at them, Shido looked away shyly. He assumed she was grinning at the group and not himself in particular, but he still felt good about it. He kept hanging out with everyone, patiently waiting for his chance to meet the players.

The first group of players they would see leaving were ones on the other team.  Most of them were in a hurry to leave but a couple would linger around if asked to.  Daisuke began to wonder when the winning team would start to file out as she was beginning to feel bored.  Someone else from said team did come out, one of the players that assisted on the game winning goal.  She was willing to talk to them but asked if they were waiting for someone.

Sion nods and tells her, unable to recall the person's name but did get remember her jersey number clear.  The lady tells them the person in question was hoping they'd still be here, if they don't mind waiting a while longer she'll gladly see them, she usually takes her time unwinding from games.  Daisuke tells her that it's fine with her.  The lady currently out there is willing to stay for a picture and maybe sign something if they had anything, thanking them for coming out before going back inside, telling her teammate that the group she was talking about is still there, which puts a smile on the woman's face.
