Tiffany Laurence vs. River Styx - True Grit

The next five seconds of Styx’s life sucked.

She was coming in for the kick, looking to knock Tiffany’s head all the way to the third row, when her opponent suddenly wasn’t there and her targeting was all off.  That wouldn’t have been the worst thing, if not for the rope being higher than it should’ve been, too.  That meant she was going up and over and getting crotched along the way.

Yeah. It really sucked.

Styx made a noise that was one-third croak, one-third scream, and one-third scream, as she went tumbling over the ropes and came down to the ring, nearly dropping right on her bald head. She came down on her shoulders instead, which sucked a little less, but still wound up with her wiped out in the ring, staring up at the ceiling lights while she groaned and tried to figure out what the hell just happened.

The answer: Tiffany knocked her on her ass.

For Tiffany, those five seconds were the high point of the match so far. After the beating from River in their last meeting, and the brutal knee that had her nose bleeding, watching the other woman take a hit like that gave her a good feeling that was almost sexual in intensity. Maybe the Texan needed professional help, but for the moment she was more interested in continuing her own version of anger therapy tentatively called 'Sometimes you just to beat the hell out of someone.' as she got back in the ring.

"Get yer ass up..." Tiffany growled as she came over to the stricken brawler. She didn't really wait though, instead bending down to seize one of River's arms and use it as a hand hold to pull her up to her feet. River would prove be a handful to pull up, however, and the cowgirl came up with a better way to repay the hardcore wrestler for that knee.

She would settle for pulling River to a sitting position. Then, Tiff would run for the ropes that her opponent was facing. Coming off of them, the blonde would fire a running kick at Styx, looking to plant her boot right in the center of the other woman's face with a wild yell as she attacked!

”Fuckin’ cheap shot…” Styx muttered as she rolled in the ring and nursed her nethers. She could hear some of the lovely Tension fans, laughing their ass off as she rolled around in the ring. Fuckers. If this fight spilled out in crowd brawling, she was going to make sure she hit a few of them by ‘accident’.

It was a pleasant thought, but one she didn’t get to entertain for very long before it was rudely interrupted. By boot. In her goddamn face.

Styx’s arms went flopping as the blow connected solidly on her jaw, dropping her flat on the canvas. She laid there with a dazed look on her face, blinking rapidly and trying hard to remember what planet she was on.

"That's right bitch, take it...!" Tiffany snarled after her foot struck River's face.

Looking down as the brawler laid there, stunned, the cowgirl pondered what her next move was going to be. Her first instinct was to simply sit on River's chest and rearrange the geography of her face with her fists. But, Styx fought in hardcore matches and probably had her face smacked by far worse things.

Besides, Tiffany didn't think she could possibly beat River any uglier.

Going over by her foe's feet, the Texan seized a hold of her ankles, spreading River's legs open for a moment. Tiff then proceeded to bend one of River's legs so her shin would behind the knee of the other leg. Stepping over, Tiffany would try to force River onto her stomach so the cowgirl could squat down while pulling back on Styx's lower body, looking to apply a Texas cloverleaf. She hoped that River hadn't been subjected to too many submission holds, that way, the feeling of having her spine and legs stretched would be a new kind of agony that she wouldn't be used to dealing with...

Styx was already starting to get up, filling her mind with thoughts of turning Tiffany inside out as she rose. It was a lovely, pleasant thought, and one that filled her with no end of joy - unfortunately, it wasn’t going to last.

”What-” Styx flopped on her chest as her legs were pulled out from under her. While she didn’t know what Tiffany was going for - her first guess was a Boston Crab, because everybody did Boston Crabs - she wasn’t eager to find out, and she scrambled towards the ropes, hoping to get there before she could be bent.

Too slow.

Styx screamed, roared, as she was bent in whatever fancy name this move. She didn’t know. She didn’t care. All she knew was that it hurt like fire down her spine, nothing but pure agony all the way.

As River screamed in pain, Tiffany felt a fierce burst of satisfaction. Finally the cowgirl felt like she was gaining a definite advantage over the hardcore wrestler, as well as a measure of payback. If she could force River to submit, it would go a long way towards washing away the embarrassment of getting beat down in that tag match.

Leaning back in the hold in order to increase the pressure on Styx's lower back Tiffany yelled, "Tap! Tap, you goddamn bitch!"

Looking towards the ropes the Texan saw that they were fairly close. Still, she dug in, determined to make the trip to them as agonizing as possible....

On the subject of Tiffany’s demands for her to submit, River Styx only had one reply: ”Kiss my ass, you horse-humping Texan cunt!”

Styx wasn’t going to tap. There was no way. She flatly refused to say quit, especially when someone like Tiffany was asking for it. But that hardly meant she was in a good spot, either - her spine was in agony, feeling every twist as Tiffany kept bending her towards an impossible angle

So she did the only thing she could really do - crawl and crawl hard, making a mad scramble to the ropes. She’d never been happier to have rope breaks in one of her matches.

"Yeah? How about now, shit-stain!?" Tiffany called back, giving a hard tug on River's crossed legs to bend her spine farther for a moment.

However, River clawed and crawled her way to the ropes. Tiffany though, showed wrathful unsportsmanlike behavior. The cowgirl kept the hold locked in after Styx got to the ropes, forcing the ref to demand she release the brawler.

With a snarl, Tiffany released the hold, but parted with a final stomp on River's lower back that drew the ref's ire. Tiffany backed to the middle of the ring as the ref girl scolded her for not breaking clean....

It was quite a labor, but by some miracle, Styx managed to make her way to the ropes while an ornery Texan was bending her spine in half. She grabbed hold with one hand, then the other, and waited for her opponent to let go.

And waited…

And waited...

”Fuck!” She finally called out, as Tiffany pushed things to the limit. ”Fucking let go, bitch! Ref, do your job!”

The referee finally seemed to remember that this, in fact, wasn’t a goddamn No DQ match, and broke the hold up. But the damage had already been done, and a spiteful kick in the back didn’t improve her state.

She would’ve loved to just pop up and bust Tiffany in the face, then work on getting some much-deserved payback. But she couldn’t. Not at the moment. Right now, she was more occupied with laying on the floor, groaning and nursing her aching back.

Watching River laying on the mat, groaning in pain, Tiffany felt a surge of satisfaction.

"Yeah, shit's different when you don't have a partner jumpin' in from behind. Or when you don't have a ring full of people dogpilin' on me." the cowgirl growled.

Tiring of waiting for River to get up, Tiff walked over to her, looking to get her back to her feet by seizing her by the head and pulling her up. Walking her to the middle of the ring, the blond would bend Styx over, looking to forcibly tuck the brawler ' s head between her legs. Tiffany paused for a moment, preparing herself before trying to attempt to try and lift Styx up for a powerbomb. Lifting the larger woman would be a feet of strength, one that would make the crowd gasp if it could be done.
