Daisuke Kamiya vs Jamal Smith

After managing to pull off his suplex, Jamal would get up off the mat and stand up. Now he had to capitalize on this and take control of this match. Jamal walked over to Daisuke's fallen body and went to pick her by grabbing her wrist and pulling her up. Assuming she didn't fight back, Jamal would try to irish whip her toward one of the turnbuckles.

If Daisuke got into the corner and stayed up, Jamal would run toward her and hit her with a running clothesline.

She put up no resistance in being picked up and whipped to the corner. Usually when one takes the buckle what is to come usually isn't pleasant and shortly after contact Lina calls out to Dai for her to look alive out there. Just as Lina finished speaking she saw Jamal taking a run towards the corner Daisuke was in. As Jamal came closer Daisuke remained where she was until he got close enough to make his move and at the last possible moment she would look to bend her upper body through the middle rope, almost snake like to avoid the contact.

Jamal ended up running chest first into the turnbuckle and started to back out of the corner. He kept his arms up against his chest as he took a few deep breathes to try to soothe the pain in his chest. By walking straight back, he could keep his eyes on Daisuke and have a better chance at defending himself.

As Jamal made contact with the corner Daisuke began to climb upstairs. As she quickly went up she already knew what she wanted to do and hoped he didn't back up too far. When she got to the top she made sure not to waste time and jump off and fly in his direction. She looked to grab hold of him and execute a tornado ddt.

Lina observed Dai taking a chance by going to the top rope. She didn't know exactly what Dai had in mind had a feeling Dai would try to be quick as she could about it.

Jamal watched Daisuke climb the turnbuckle, but he didn't respond fast enough to counter her next move. He watched her jump toward him and grab his head as the momentum caused the two to spin around and bring Jamal down on his head with the ddt.

After Jamal had his head planted and Daisuke noticed his position after the landing, Dai would look to follow it up with a pin, grabbing hold of one of Jamal's legs in the process.

Lina looked pleased with what she saw and cheered Daisuke on as the tornado ddt connected and seeing Daisuke cover him shortly thereafter. Lina knew that usually one doesn't matches with something at stake (or in general) end this early on, but she knew sometimes a move or two at the right moment could drastically changes things, even to the point of causing an early ending if it was enough of a critical hit. Would that be enough to cause that here? Lina was hoping that it would, but if it wasn't she wouldn't be disappointed as long as Daisuke didn't waste time in going back on offense.

After being dropped down on his head, Jamal seemed to wake up a bit. Unconsciously he may have been holding back against an unknown opponent, or maybe even because she was a woman Jamal was now ready to truly fight.

"ONE!"

Thats all he needed to hear from the ref to suddenly respond. Jamal kicked and tried to roll over onto his stomach to break the pin.

Lina watched on from ringside and while she was not concerned with Jamal kicking out after a count of one, she would pay close attention to how Daisuke handled that. Daisuke didn't look surprised either with the kickout. Maybe a tiny bit let down it wasn't close to a two count if anything but was not let down by it. She felt Jamal's body position shift after count stopped.

She wanted to keep the time Jamal had to himself limited if possible and went to grab hold of him up high with a head lock. She wrenched it in while standing back, looking to bring Jamal with him. She had her eyes set on the ropes that came into play a little bit earlier and wanted to make a run at them with him in tow. If he went she would look to springboard off the ropes and connect with a bulldog.

After kicking out of the pin, Jamal felt Daisuke grab onto his head after he started to get back up to his feet. He was soon pulled toward the ropes and Daisuke jumped onto the ropes for a springboard bulldog.

At this time, Jamal was waiting for an opening and found a chance to counter after Daisuke kicked off the ropes. Before the bulldog could connect, Jamal caught Daisuke and ran forward with her momentum until he was in control. After controlling the speed, he dropped to one knee and left the other one out so that he could bring Daisuke down for an atomic drop.

As Daisuke sprang off the ropes and did the turn to plant Jamal, she didn't expect him to counter it and have him be the one who is left standing after it. She felt herself coming down across the knee rather than what the intended plan was and with the momentum she had going into it it didn't make the contact any more pleasant. She stumbled forwarded after feeling the contact, which would give Jamal a few seconds of her back facing him before she would turn around to face him again.

Jamal's reversal was something Lina didn't like to see but she knew it wasn't the end of the world, even though it meant things weren't going Dai's way at the current moment. "Hang in there Dai!" she called out, not wanting to see her client and friend take too much time take too much time getting back into it.
