Daisuke Kamiya vs Jamal Smith

After using the ropes to aid in his escape, Jamal was able to throw Daisuke off of him. Sending her across the ring, he ran closely behind her before suddenly moving toward the right. Running a path perpendicular to Daisuke he planned to make a crash course for Daisuke in the center of the ring.

He would hit his ropes more or less the same time as Daisuke and planned to charge into her side with a running shoulder block.

When Daisuke came off the second time she didn't see Jamal right away and slowed down a little bit but kept going. She did catch a view of him from the side soon after. Before she could adjust her positioning and movement she ended up colliding with Jamal, with the end result being her falling back a few feet away from where Lina was standing, but on the other side of the ropes of course. Lina encouraged her to get back in there, which while that may have thrown her off momentarily Daisuke wouldn't let that get to her.

As Jamal came off the ropes, he could tell that Daisuke was somewhat surprised as he seemed to disappear. Slowing down wasn't enough to escape his path and soon enough the two collided in the center of the ring with Jamal coming out on top.

After knocking her down and stopping his momentum, Jamal would stand in the center of the ring. After getting control back from the sudden stop, Jamal headed toward Daisuke's fallen body and tried to grab her arm to pull her up on her feet.

Just as she was able to get up on her own she felt Jamal grab hold of her. As it pulled her up she tried to adapt to the suddenness of it and add a little bit of an extra leap to it and strike him high with a forearm to give her temporary distance.

Regardless if she was able to pull that off or not Lina kept an eye on Jamal's movements.

As he pulled Daisuke up, he wasn't ready for the sudden forearm. He was struck in the face before he could duck his head. The face shot was enough for Jamal to release Daisuke and he covered his face with his left arm. Though he was now blinded by his own arm, Jamal had pretty good judgement on where Daisuke could be. A quick half-step forward, Jamal threw a front kick aimed for what he believed would be Daisuke's solar plexus.

Good minds were thinking alike as the same thought entered Daisuke's mind as well as when Jamal backed she too wanted to kick him the same way in the same area, though he was able to get to it first. She grunted from the contact having felt it connecting on target, but yelled back at him and fired off a kick of her own directed to the same place but on him. There was a tiny delay from when she reacted to his kick and firing off her own, though she was looking to hold her ground and wanted him to know it.

Jamal felt his foot connect and he was beginning to lower his arm. He could see that Daisuke had thrown a kick as well and the only thing he could do was take it. Luckily enough he was able to get his foot back down otherwise he may have lost enough balance to fall over.

He gritted his teeth as he held back a grunt and continued to fight. Closing the gap, he reached out for Daisuke and attempted to capture her with a bear hug.

After her kick connected Daisuke wanted to keep at it and fired another kick off. Regardless those if she made contact or not she'd shortly thereafter feel Jamal grabbing hold of her and pulling her in.

Lina saw this from where she was on the outside and knew it was only a matter of time before Jamal began to use his height and weight advantage to get the upper hand. Lina's seen this situation before many times, while not necessarily in matches she's managed but in her studies, as well as Daisuke in hers. Lina encouraged Daisuke to get out of there as soon as she could since being in that predicament wasn't recommended if she wanted to come out on this one with Jamal's money.

While Daisuke could not do anything about it right away she knew she had to do something. She shook her head no when the referee asked her if she wanted to give up from the hold. And a few seconds or so after that, and depending on her body positioning with how she was being held Daisuke would try to hit him in the side of his head with either her forearm or the side of her elbow, hoping it would be enough to get him to let go. Lina knew Daisuke wasn't one to go quietly, but Lina had a feeling Jamal wouldn't be one to let go so easily.

Before Jamal was able to get a hold of Daisuke, she had managed to throw another kick at him. Luckily he was able to cut off some of the kick's power as he closed the gap a bit. He lifted her off the ground and held her in place. Jamal never planned for a submission victory, but his true goal was a overhead belly to belly suplex.

Jamal dropped Daisuke down after being struck in the face, but he refused to let her go. Toughing out the pain, Jamal lifted Daisuke up and over his head as he dropped back and released her in mid suplex.

Daisuke felt her feet touching ground and looked to throw a couple of more shots his way to break free as she knew she wasn't in the clear yet. She managed to fire in his direction one, and regardless of it hit or missed she found herself being lifted again, only this time she went for the ride. Going up and over him and landing on her back. Lina moved a little bit from where she was to be a little bit closer to where Daisuke's body was angle was and would call out to her when Jamal comes close.


Meanwhile, Sion and Lita continue to watch things from behind the curtain. Things don't look good for Daisuke right now but they still believe in her.
