A Friendly Challenge

"Sure, I don't mind doing it, it was my idea anyway" Jean replied, opening his locker yet again. He began to strip and stuffed his used workout clothes in a waiting gym bag and grabbed a spare towel, slinging it over his shoulders and heading for the showers. Once inside one of the stalls, he set his towel on the rack and turned on the faucet. It was cold at first but the temperature quickly warmed up and Jean let out a content 'ahhhh'. The spray of the warm water over his head and body felt really nice, soothing sore muscles and bruises alike.

Dave followed suit, grabbing a spare towel from his bag before stripping off and heading into the shower. His whole body nearly jumped when he felt the cold water come into contact with his skin. He felt his spine shiver as the water began to heat up. For some reason, he loved to shower with very warm water, even if it was 100 degrees outside. A hot shower seemed to just help his tired body unwind after a long day.

It felt so strange to think of Jean as his boyfriend....maybe because he was so open with Dave? He honestly wasn't sure. All that he needed to do now was figure this out together with him and see what the future held.

Jean's shower was short and pleasant and soon enough he was shutting off the water and walking back to his locker. After toweling off, he slipped on a pair of shorts first and then sat down to dry his hair.

"When would you be up for our little tiebreaker?" he asked, checking his calendar on his phone.

"Whenever. I'm up for any time." Dave called back, wrapping the towel around his waist after he shut off the water and dried off. Making his way to his bag, he grabbed his spare clothes and went to get changed.

Once he was all dressed, he went back out to Jean, "Something tells me that no matter who wins this, we will be going at it for a while. Like you said, it could be luck if you win." he teased.

"Mmkay" Jean replied, switching to his email. He sent a quick message to his manager, specifying the match up request and type. Hopefully he'd pass it on to the big wigs in the league and they could do it soon.

"Luck won't have anything to do with it, unless of course by some miracle you win" Jean scoffed back. He pulled on a shirt and stuffed his phone in his pockets, then closing his locker and shuffling the lock. "Ready whenever"

Dave smiled as he passed Jean, quickly grabbing him by the shirt and stealing another kiss, snaking his tongue into Jean's warm mouth.

"Keep thinking that rock star." he whispered after a moment of holding the kiss.

Winking at him, Dave made his way out of the locker room, heading in the direction of his apartment.
