Akashi Tanikaze vs. Valley Doll - Pride and Prejudice

Akashi watched as Valley backed away. The sumo sighed and stood up as Vally slid out of the ring. Akashi furrowed her brow as the crowd mirrored her dissatisfaction at the fleeing American. She certainly wasn't going to let the blonde rest though as she marched forward and slipped out of the ring herself.

She wasn't going to let Valley get an second of recovery time if she could help it. As she lumbered towards valley, she threw her hand up and tried to smash a clubbing forearm into Valley's chest to keep her draped against the barricade.

Valley let out a low curse as Akashi came after her, making sure her advantage stayed pressed. She should have known life just would not be that simple.

Like it or not - most certainly not - Valley was just going to have to do the best she could with the failing tools she had. As the sumo came in, she tried to duck under the forearm and slip away, but her back still wasn't agreeing with her and she wound up getting cracked in the face, instead. The blow smacked her into the barricade and she fell down to her knees, nursing a battered jaw as the world spun.

Akashi was well satisfied with clubbing Valley in the face and as the American crumbled to the ground, Akashi yanked her up by the hair and arm and tried to Irish whip her into the chrome steel steps to make sure she didn't have any ideas about starting to fight back.

Valley wasn't even allowed to fall - she thought maybe, just maybe, the sumo would give her some time to at least properly crumble into a broken heap, but it seemed like she couldn't even catch that much of break. She cried out once more as she was yanked up by her hair, feebly prying at Akashi's iron grasp as she rose.

Before she could even appreciate that pain, she was introduced to something exponentially worse - Akashi hurled her into the steel steps with tremendous force, hitting it with her back and crashing so hard she rolled over it and spilled out on the other side. Something was either was broken in her back or very close to it, and simply turning over to her chest put her in agony, starting to crawl away from the 200 pound nightmare.

It hadn't even been five minutes.

The crowd gasped at the loud crash when Valley hit the steps. Collectively the cringed while they watched Valley topple over the steps.

Akashi stalked towards Valley as she watched her go careening over the chrome steps. Falls like that didn't do very well and even Akashi cringed a bit at how valley flopped. But there was still a match and Akashi still had a point to prove. She yanked on Valley's blonde locks and once again stood her up, this time rolling her into the ring.

Akashi slid in and stood tall. She raised her arms high in the air as the crowd roared to life. She stared down at Valley to see how quick she was to get up, if she was able to do that at all. One more move should end this match for good, she thought. Valley had some good speed and good tactics but that didn't seem to matter too much when facing someone how didn't care if they ate it or not.

Valley managed to crawl a few steps before she felt Akashi's hands dig into her hair once again, yanking at her scalp as she was forced to her feet. Her legs were just barely able to keep all her weight from pulling the hairs out. "Get off me, get off, get-"

Akashi did let go of her, only to toss her into the ring. She flopped about until she made it to her chest, and the sumo was quick to follow her in. Valley expected her to continue the assault, but she didn't. She just stood there, rallying the crowd. Waiting.

Valley stared back at Akashi as she started to get up, managing to make it to one knee before her back just wouldn't put up with the effort anymore. She stayed there, one hand braced on the floor, as she panted. This wasn't a match anymore - maybe it had never been. It was a public execution, and she'd walked right into it.

She closed her eyes and nodded, accepting it for what it was. The mind was willing, but the body was spongy and bruised. "End it."

Akashi frowned when she heard valley's words. She probably could have pinned the blonde but seeing her just give up, she didn't like it one bit. However, that didn't mean she felt sorry for valley.

Akashi dug her fingers into Valley's hair one more time and grabbed her arm to pull her up and lift her on the mat and onto her shoulders. If valley's back was as injured as she said, then the submission would come quickly as she set Valley up in the Tengoku no Tenshi no Hyaku, a torture rack known as the Angel Splitter.

Valley had screamed so many times during the short match that she thought she wouldn't have the breath for it any more, but as Akashi hefted her up and put her in the torture rack, she found it.

Her cries were drowned out only by the roar of the crowd, demanding her submission and cheering on Akashi as she split the blonde in two, and this time Valley had no choice but to oblige them. She was beaten. There was just no way around it, and her pride would only get her so far.

She tapped out, patting away at Akashi's shoulder while her hair twirled about.

Akashi pulled with all her might once valley was locked into the Angel Splitter. She knew she didn't need to add the extra humiliation and pain of jumping up and down because the tapping came almost as soon as the hold was locked in. Once she saw the referee's signal, Akashi dropped her arms and let Valley fall off her like a sack.

There had been a lot of rumors that Akashi had lost a step and that maybe she wasn't as interested in wrestling as she used to be. That ever since she had lost HER title to Gatt, she'd never really been the same mentally. That she had ended up feuding with someone like Miss Spencer of all people had been proof of that.

As Akashi raised her fists in the air and stared down at Valley's body, she was pretty sure that no one was going to have that in their mind any more. Akashi didn't let her eyes linger on the American. Instead, she marched to a corner and stepped up to it to embrace the deafening crowd.

"NIPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!" She screamed. The crowd returned her efforts in kind.

While the crowd went nuts, Taylor snagged a microphone from the commentator's table and leapt into the ring. She slid under the bottom rope and gave Valley a pat on the back on her way to the middle of the ring, and then she was instantly in character as the world's most animated and over-zealous ring announcer.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!" She unloaded her raspy, raucous voice into the mic like a shotgun. She had to be loud to be heard over the nationalistic insanity Akashi had created. "ONE-TIME FRICTION WORLD CHAMPION! ONE-TIME ENTROPY CHAMPION! THE WORLD'S PREMIER FEMALE SUMO! THE BEAUTIFUL WILD GREEN LEOPARD OF THE RING, AKASHI! TAAA-NIIIIIIIIII! KAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-ZEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

The crowd went on in a frenzy, cheering Akashi as if she had just won the belt back from Sarah Gatt. Taylor continued, bringing her voice down from a climactic scream to low, charged rumble.

"Akashi Tanikaze, whose blood runs as red as the rising sun on her sports bra, whose heart only beats for Japan, in your hour of need and against impossible odds... HAS RISEN UP! SHE HAS RECLAIMED YOUR HONOR AND DEFEATED..." She gestured with one hand at Valley as if searching for something to call her, and settling on a very anti-climatic "This chick!"

She turned to face the camera, and pointed a finger behind her at Valley Doll. "And if her kids are watching, let this be a lesson to you. Don't come to Japan, because Akashi's in a mood!" She swept her arm up in a broad arc ending with her finger pointing straight up to the ceiling, her legs spread apart in a dramatic stance, and screamed just like Akashi. "NIIIPOOOOOOOON!!!"
