Akashi Tanikaze vs. Valley Doll - Pride and Prejudice

Valley tried her best to stop Akashi from reaching the ropes, planting her feet and powering down, but at the end of the day it was just not happening - when a girl like Akashi wanted to get somewhere, there wasn't too much a girl like Valley could do. She made it to the ropes and grip, forcing Valley to let up on the hold. Annoying, but she got in some decent damage. Laying the seeds.

She backed off and gave the sumo some space, bouncing around on her heels while she rose and seeing just how bad of a time she was having with. "So." She made her way to the center of the ring and fell back into her fighting pose, knees bent and ready. "Question - when you took this fight, was that about what you expected to happen at the start?"

Akashi hauled herself up after the break, testing her leg and knee. It throbbed but for the moment it was going to do the job it needed of keeping her upright and active. She spun around and turned to face Valley and raised an eyebrow at her cocky question.

"Which part?" She asked. "Because if that's as fast as you are, then you should savor it as long as you can. It may just be all you get." Akashi had faced off against quick girls before. Maybe the quickest. She wasn't worried about Valley's speed because she knew all she had to do was catch Valley once.

Akashi lumbered forward with her arms up. Now that her opening move was finished, she wasn't going to stupidly charge Valley any longer. She went in cautiously for a lock up, knowing Valley would be stupid to take it but trying to corral the blonde towards a corner and limiting her real estate in the squared circle.

"Speed doesn't matter." Valley shook her head, donning a wry grin. "How you use speed, that matters."

Her grin faded when she saw Akashi's next move, though, not quite sure what to make of it. Valley would have to be every bit of the ditz people often took her for if she went in for a lock-up with a sumo wrestler, of all people. The former champion obviously didn't have that high of an opinion of her, but she couldn't think she was that stupid.

Valley backed away almost without realizing it, and Akashi's game caught on to her. She was being cornered, slowly and surely, and it would only be a matter of time before things got painful. She had to step into the danger zone and bring the fight to her.

She bolted towards Akashi and raised her leg, going for one of her trademark trick-kicks. It looked like she was going to come at the sumo with a sidekick to her face, but she never extended the leg, trying to fake her out. Instead, she brought her leg down and shot her heel at Akashi's knee, once again targeting that trouble spot.

Akashi saw the moment Valley realized that she was being corralled. She never expected Valley to lock up but that was ok. When Valley came forward, Akashi did the same. Whatever kick Valley wanted to throw, Akashi was intent on closing the distance. Instead of trying to block or dodge it, which may have been the smarter option, Akashi was just going to eat it. However, she wasn't going to eat it on Valley's terms.

She rushed and threw herself forward, trying to spear Vaelly to the ground while the Doll was busy with whatever kick she had planned. A shot to the knee, it turned out once the feint was over with. With Akashi now horizontal, it would be more like a kick to the chest or shoulder. If she managed to get if off before Akashi nailed her to the ground.

Normally, people tended to flinch when Valley kicked at them, which made it simple to set them up for just about any kick she wanted while they were blocking an attack that would never come. But 'normal' wasn't a good word to describe Akashi.

Akashi was no Flo-Jo, but she wasn't a sloth, either, and Valley was taken off guard as she closed in with a sudden burst. Her kick hit her chest, instead, and it didn't do a thing to slow the momentum as far as she could tell.

Valley let out a loud gasp as the air was forced from her lungs and she hit the floor, arms splayed out as about 200 pounds of Japanese pride came down right on top of her. Not being flattened was fun for all the sixty seconds it had lasted.

The thrill of crashing an opponent to the ground beneath her impressive girth never lost its thrill. As her near 200 lb.s crushed Valley against the mat, Akashi pushed on the bounce and stood up. She shuffled around and leaned over Valley's form, looking to grab the Doll by the wrists and lift her up enough to wedge her knee against the blonde's back and pull back on Valley's arms.

Valley was grateful that Akashi didn't decide to just stay there and work her over on the ground, since there were quite a few holds she could have exploited. With her superior size, she could twist Valley around like a real doll, and there wouldn't be a damned thing she could do to stop it.

But this stretch wasn't much better, and Valley had to fight back a screech as her arms were pulled back. She squirmed around, fought it as much as she could, but it was a solid hold, and she didn't have the arm strength to give Akashi much resistance - for now, the best she could do was wiggle about and hope Akashi got bored with it.

Akashi continued to put Valley on display with the submission maneuver she had, forcing the crowd to get a good glimpse of her tanned body tightly clad in the classic one piece. However, Akashi wasn't really expecting Valley to tap. Not just yet and not from this.

After a long moment, Akashi let go and shoved Valley to a standing position with one of her arms. Then she'd let go and try and wrap her arms around Valley's waist to lift her up into an atomic drop!

Sure enough, Akashi didn't keep her in the hold forever, though there wasn't anything to stop her besides the ennui of it. Valley didn't expect to be let go after that, but she had been hoping to get put in a movethat she could escape, maybe even counter, and when Akashi wrapped her arms around her waist, she thought of a few possibilities. Was she going for a suplex? A bear hug? Or...

She let out a gasp as she was lifted straight up and the horror of what was about to happen sunk in. "Nonono-"

Valley shrieked as Akashi brought her down on the tailbone - all the bones in the human body, and she just had to go for that one. It was still sore from the mauling Allison had given it, and while she felt it was healed enough for competition, Akashi just brought all that pain flooding back with a cherry on top. Karma was a bitch.

She fell forward and flopped down on her face, digging it into the mat as she rubbed as the sore spot and the laughs started to come in from the audience.

Once Akashi ceremoniously dumped Vally tot he ground, she took a moment to raise her fist in the air, eliciting a roar from the crowd. And while she DID pander, she wasn't going to arrogantly soak it in. She knew she had business and stepped around, reaching for Valley's ankles, looking to put her in a classic Boston crab! She was going to show Valley what a REAL one felt like.
