Wrestler Debut! Katori Kimura vs. Sarah O’Sullivan

Today was Katori Kimura's big day, it was finally time for her debut match in the AFW wrestling league to begin. After all of her down time of playing her favorite sport which was basket ball after her previous league, Wrestle Angels, was shut down, Katori was more then happy to finally get back into the game to live up to the expectations as her senpai's successor and try to surpass her like she always dreamed. "It has been so long since I last wrestled for real, this will be great!" She said excitedly as Katori got ready, getting dressed up in her specially made lime green leotard that she wore back at WA along with matching colored wristbands, elbow pads and boots. The girl stands up and hops a bit on her feet to get the feel of the outfit again before looking down at her short sleeved purple jacket which is the last part of the outfit and an important present from her teacher."Yukiko-senpai, I will make you proud!" Katori says and then puts on the jacket to complete her outfit and picks up her favorite basket ball which she autographed for good measure before going over to the arena entrance to get ready for her appearance.

It felt very exciting and nerve wrecking to Katori, but she was ready for this day. Then soon enough the announcer called for Katori and her new theme song, Furanme of the Phoenix by Dizzi Mystica started to play on the loud speakers and Katori enters the arena while dribbling her basket ball as the crowd cheers for the girl as she then stops on the stage and spins the ball on her finger and holds it on it for a good long while, which amazes the audience to see some of the girl's basket ball skills as she winks at everyone. Katori then resumes dribbling the ball and makes her way down the ramp towards the ring, and of course on the way there she stops at the commentators' desk to leave her basket ball at for safe keepings, as Katori then jumps up high onto the side of the ring apron and then jumps over the top ropes to get into the ring. The girl then walks over to her corner and climbs up the turnbuckle and raises her fists high up in the air, making "V" gestures with her fingers to pose for the crowd as they cheer loudly for her. "Good to be back in the game everyone!"

Feeling very great from just the entrance alone, Katori jumps off of the turnbuckle and then does a few hops on her feet before leaning against the corner to wait for her opponent. She has heard a bit about her opponent, her name was Sarah O’Sullivan and from what she had heard about her, she is a wrestler that wears something of an orange dress and is a speed style fighter. So Katori needs to be real careful when the match begins, but she is wondering if this Sarah has good coordination on her feet and tactics, then she will be a tough cookie to beat. Either way, this will be a great match up for Katori. "Okay Ms. Sarah, come show up and give me a good match up tonight."

To Sarah there was always two ways to look at taking on someone new. They'd either be unbelievably good and surprise you, or you might be able to use experience to keep an advantage on them. It was funny for Sarah to think about though since really she still didn't feel like a veteran or anything. In the end though this was a good chance for her to push herself and take on someone she knew next to nothing about. With that in mind Sarah was getting her stretches in behind the stage knowing it'd be in her best interest to go in fast from the beginning. Letting her opponent adapt would probably just cause her trouble. On the positive it was a pretty standard match which was actually a nice change from Sarah's perspective. Always so many random matches these days that something regular seemed like a breath of fresh air.

She could already hear herself being summoned which was something in itself. It seemed like this girl was going to be fun at any rate. Hearing her own music getting started she started to head down smiling and giving some large waves to the crowd. It was pretty nice having a bunch of people behind you. Sure the majority were just there for a good match, but she knew there were plenty that wanted her to win this thing and she'd do her best to match that expectation. Hurrying up a bit she picked up some speed and slipped into the ring. It was a chance to get a look at her opponent. She certainly was a cute girl and seemed pretty eager. It made Sarah smile since she seemed to be similar in some ways to Sarah and that made her think it could be a really fun matchup.

"Sorry to make you wait." Sarah greeted her opponent with a grin. The girl almost bouncing she was so eager to get into this herself. There was something about taking on someone she had no information about and always Sarah wanted to see how her speed would hold up against someone like this. "Hopefully this will be a fun one for both of us." She replied ready and waiting for the bell.

Katori waited patiently as she leaned against her corner for her opponent to come, she was humming a tone and tapping her hands on the ropes as a way to pass the time til then. Her excitement never went away as she hops a little bit on her feet as well without them leaving the ring's canvas all while having a wide smile on her face, just happy to be back in a wrestling ring again. Pretty soon Katori hears another theme play on the loud speakers of the arena which tell her that Sarah was going to make her appearance now, she looks towards the entrance to see her opponent come into view as she made her down the ramp towards the ring with the audience cheering for her on.

Getting a good look of her first opponent as she climbs up into the ring, the Wrestle Angels girl can see that as she had heard, Sarah is wearing an orange dress and the look of her figure definitely is built for speed. She was also very pretty too to boot, this certainly will be a fun time tonight!

"Don't worry about it, and this will surely be a great match up!" Katori said excitedly with enthusiasm to respond to Sarah's greeting as she steps up forwards towards the center of the ring and hold her hand out towards Sarah to offer the girl a friendly handshake before the match began to show good sportsmanship, and after her opponent accepts the handshake Katori will go back to her corner and get into a fighting stance while hopping on her feet a bit to get herself ready before the bell rings.

For Sarah this was a nice change of pace. A much more standard match in a place where that didn't seem to be the most common. Her opponent seemed like an interesting sort of person and would be fun to deal with. Certainly better than some cold-hearted people she'd gone up against in the past. Sarah felt the need to get back on the winning track and this was a great chance to actually accomplish that.

Happy to accept the handshake, Sarah moved in and accepted with a smile. It was also nice from Sarah's point of view to just have a handshake that didn't immediately lead to a cheap shot. "This should be pretty fun, looking forward to seeing how we match up." She added before heading into her corner she took a deep breath and tried to stay light on her feet.

Just waiting for the bell to ring Sarah was quickly racing out of the corner the moment she heard it. Seemed like a good idea to get the speed game going early after all. Making sure that her opponent was into the match Sarah tried to run past her to bounce herself off the ropes. Sarah hoping that she could be a bit surprising and go for a quick clothesline to get her opponent down early.

The moment that gong rung was the very moment that Kotori was waiting for so her long await match with Sarah would begin, she breathed in nice and slowly to relax a bit and once it did ring she hopped out some distance from her corner and got into a stance to prepare herself for an upcoming epic clash against Sarah. But to her slight initial surprise, her first opponent immediately dashed right out of her corner and charged right towards Kotori! "Whoa ho!"

It already made Kotori hyped up but she knew that this was a bit of a rash tactic and got herself ready for whatever Sarah was gonna do. "Wait, huh?" But she was surprised when her opponent just passes her by, this confused her and turns around to see where Sarah was going only to see her coming back at her with her arm getting swung right at her with a Clothesline! "Ack!" The swing hits Kotori across the chest and brings her down, completely rolling her over onto her front from the sudden impact which exposes her back to her opponent. Kotori tries to shake it off and hopefully tries to stand back up before Sarah can take advantage of this position Kotori is in.

Sarah just didn't feel like she could afford to go into this slowly. She was just the type that liked to get going right out of the gate and so she did. It didn't hurt either that often people didn't really know how to respond to this kind of aggressive start. Any advantage was a good one as far as Sarah was concerned.

The fact that it worked so spectacularly well was worth smiling about. Sarah getting that clothesline in perfectly and having a major advantage from the very beginning of this match. Sarah had to put on the breaks of course to actually take some sort of advantage of the exposed position her opponent was in.

In a sense it was a bit of a changeup to have such a normal kind of match and Sarah was eager to try a variety of things to get the win. It was a bit reckless, but Sarah tried to leap for her opponent's back and wrap her legs around Kotori's waist. Thus creating quite the surprise piggyback situation. At the same time Sarah would try to snake her right arm around Kotori's neck to apply a surprise choke. It wasn't necessarily Sarah's normal tactic to win, but she'd been in so many bizarre matches that she felt like trying different tactics could help redefine her style.

It certainly wasn't a good start for Katori in this match, but right now she didn't care, she was just happy to be back in the ring to experience this sensation again. Of course she didn't enjoy getting smacked across the chest and rolling over, but the fact she was wrestling again was what she loved right now. But now was not the time to thing of that now, the returning Wrestle Angels wrestler had a match to get on with.

Upon laying down for a bit, Katori soon tries to get back onto her feet, albeit slowly since the impact of the Clothesline Sarah gave her was still fresh on her chest. Crawling up on the mat, Katori soon gets up onto all fours and was about to push herself up, but that was before she soon feels her back get pushed down on as Sarah straddled her back and then quickly wrapped her fine legs around Katori's waist. While it was sudden and the leg lock was a tight squeeze, Katori remained on all fours but was pushed down a bit.

But that wasn't all that Sarah had in store for the returning successor, immediately after getting her waist wrapped, Katori's neck was soon snaked around by Sarah's arm and was put into a choke hold. This really was quite a start for Katori here as her arms instantly shot up to her opponent's arm to try and pry it off, and at the same time she lost her balance and fell to her right side with the 2 girls laying down on the mat while Katori continues to struggle and hopefully try and pry Sarah's arm from her neck to free herself.

Sarah wasn't usually the type for such restraining, but this was a case where she felt like trying everything she could. There was a desire to get back in the winning column and this girl might be her ticket to doing just that. Sarah was at least glad she was getting her hold in there and could only try to either take her down with this or weaken her enough to continue on towards winning.

"Sorry about this...but I want to really go for it." Sarah commented feeling a bit bad for throwing all this at Katori all of a sudden, but she really did want to win. A slight gasp of surprise slipped from her lips as they toppled to the mat and felt one of her legs getting pinned under Katori as they lay there. "Still...gotta hold on." Sarah groaned giving her all to try and keep a handle on this girl.

Of course it wasn't easy and she could feel her hold slipping a bit as she felt Katori fighting to get free. Sarah wasn't sure she could really hold on for much longer against such a fresh opponent. So she tried to intensify the squeezing with her legs to either distract the girl or at least do some more damage in case her arms were pried off.

Katori didn't expect that the first thing that would happen to her in her return match that she would be getting her waist wrapped and locked while her neck was snaked by Sarah's arms and legs after taking an arm across her chest, quite the predicament she was in here. All while her orange wearing opponent apologizes for doing this for the Wrestle Angels returnee. "Nnnnngh... N-no need to be... sorry here... in this ring..." Katori said in response, thinking that the apology was unnecessary in regard to this situation. But still this certainly wasn't really the ideal position for Katori to stay in, and so early in the match no less as being kept in this hold will wear her out too early.

With the two girls toppled down on their sides on the canvas, Katori soon felt that the grip Sarah has around her neck had weaken slightly a bit as she tried to pry her arms off of her neck to free herself. But at the same time, Sarah tightens her legs around Katori's waist to further squeeze the life out of her more to help wear her down more easily. Sarah knew there was a higher chance for Katori to escape in this position so she wanted to make the best of it now before she did, but that is something she really couldn't afford to take. **Now's my chance...!**

If there was any better chance to break free, this was it. With that in mind, Katori tightens her grip on Sarah's arms and starts to try and shake her body and flails her legs around to help weaken her opponent's hold to break out from Sarah's grip and free herself from the submission hold. "Come....on...!" If Katori succeeds in breaking free, she will immediately roll away in the opposite direction to gain some distance from her opponent and catch a quick breather before getting up on all fours, as all that flailing made her out of breath. "Haaa...Haaa...."

Well while Sarah knew there wasn't a precise need to be sorry about doing this kind of thing in the ring, it was something she couldn't help. It was easy enough to enjoy beating down on someone rude to you, but someone who is a pretty likable person overall is trickier to deal with. But, Sarah didn't like losing so she really wanted to get this win.

Sarah could tell that Katori was making her move though she couldn't do much about it at this point. Just continuing to squeeze down and do everything she could to gain a long term advantage in this match. "Hang...in...there." She told herself holding on for dear life, but feeling Katori starting to squirm and struggle. It wasn't looking good and she could finally feel her opponent breaking free from her grip and rolling away. At that point Sarah just collapsed on the ground for a few moments catching her breath. Putting in that much effort took something from her as well. "Oh well." She laughed off the escape trying to keep her mood high.

Still, she shouldn't stay down for too long and Sarah knew that. Rolling onto all fours and slowly getting up she made sure to keep an eye on her opponent. Not that she wanted to give her too much time to rest, but Sarah didn't want to be too careless. "Hanging in there?" She asked with a smile before trying to hurry in. She expected Katori to be up by then, but even still if she could run in quickly enough then Sarah would try to leap in at her with a drop kick. Sometimes Sarah wanted to try things a little flashy. Even if her opponent wasn't fully up yet, then she could always go right for a head shot.
