Blossom Fields vs. Jamie Valentine - Vertically Challenged

"Yeah, it actually is, isn't it?" Blossom called back to her, powering down on the hold. "It's called the Boston Crab - I've had a single leg done on me before, but never the double like this. Fun fact: It was originally called the backbreaker - you can guess why - before the current holder for that name took it over. Not sure why it's called a crab, now - maybe the leg position? I 'unno."

She looked back and tightened even further. "Anyway - you could actually get out of this, if you had the strength to power out, but since you don't, I'd suggest you tap out. Anytime you're ready."

Jamie's face turned bright red, and she bit her lip while she struggled to move her body even an inch. She strained so hard that she thought she'd blow an artery or something, and then finally gave up and let her forehead slump against the mat.

The pain was so bad! It was way worse than what she was used to, because it never stopped, and it only got worse as time went on. She realized that she was no match for Blossom's strength, and the girl had stopped her from being able to use her tricks. It was just no use. If this kept up, she wouldn't even be able to rollerblade back to her hotel... If she had enough money left for that.

"Rrrrrrrrrrrgh!" She put her hands over the back of her head to hide her face. "FINE, I QUIT! JUST GET OFF OF ME!"

The ref stepped in to ensure a clean break while the crowd gave a fairly mild cheer, happy to see Jamie dealt with in such short order.

Blossom let her go the moment she heard 'I Quit' - as much as she found Jamie annoying, she didn't want to torture the poor girl.

...okay, not 'poor' girl, but you get the idea. Blossom wasn't a sadist.

She turned to the audience - they weren't cheering her so much as they were just uncheering Jamie - again, the hate was pretty clear. And Blossom imagined that Jamie probably deserved it. But...

She moved over to Jamie, offering to help her up. "Can you stand?"

Jamie was a limp noodle when Blossom let her go, and laid still on the mat for a while after. The whole thing sucked. She didn't do anything. Blossom probably cheated or was probably pumped full of steroids or something, which would explain how huge she was.

She really wanted the win bonus, too, not that they ever paid her in cash. Checks were so stupid, because cashing them was such a hassle. No, she didn't have an account. No, she didn't have an address. Yes, that's a hotel JUST GIVE ME THE MONEY! Maybe she should stick to-

"AAIIE!" She shrieked when she saw Blossom coming after her again. She recoiled and cowered away from her outstretched hand. What was she going to do now? That was all the encouragement Jamie needed to get moving. She scrambled away under the ropes and out of the ring, and hobbled as fast as she could up the ramp. Her face turned a luminescent shade of red while she marched through a stereo chorus of boos from the fans.

"Shut up..." She said under her breath. She's show them. Or something.

...well, that answered that question, at least.

After looking back at the ref and exchanging weird glances as Jamie made her exit, Blossom slid out and waved to the crowd on her way out, glad that match was over and she had a win. A strange win, but a win, nonetheless.
