Blossom Fields vs. Jamie Valentine - Vertically Challenged

Blossom manged to get her eye open just in time to see the low blow heading for her crotch - but not in time to stop it.

She gasped and fell to the floor as the reality of the situation started to sink in, grabbing her groin while she hissed at the pain. This was wrestling, it was supposed to be fun - she didn't mind a little horseplay if it meant putting on a good show, but this? It didn't look like Jamie cared about the art, just winning. Didn't make any sense - what was the point of winning if you couldn't enjoy yourself doing it?

Blossom started to get back up, using the ropes for support. "That...was dirty." For the first time in the match, she want smiling, a more serious look on her face. It was tempted to just go over there and bop her in the face, but she resisted not wanting to risk giving Jamie too much leeway to use the ref. She would play this oldschool.

She dropped down into her wrestling stance as the ref moves back, lurching from side to side - when she gets close enough, she'll pop up and put Jamie into a clench, bullying her into they turnbuckle, full speed.

Jamie had put her opponent down, and she was completely at her mercy! Her far superior intelligence had already proven too much for the girl with the boobs and the outfit that didn't cover them up. All she had to do now was beat the crap out of her so she could win the match.

But... that would be too easy. For reasons unknown to her, she did nothing. She watched Blossom get back up and shake off the effects of her kicking and scratching. That wasn't a bad thing, though. What's the worst that could happen? She was a total-

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaack!" Jamie screamed like a fire engine the entire way back to the turnbuckle. She struggled uselessly. Maybe instead of nothing, a better plan would've been to do something! For the time being, she kicked at Blossom's shins to punish them for being stupid.

Blossom moved in for the kill, getting Jamie cornered in the ring - nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, and Blossom was sure she had the advantage here. Really, she was pretty sure she had the advantage over there, too. And up there. And back there. Advantages all over the place, it was just a matter of getting to use them on Jamie without her doing crazy stuff.

She reeled back, going for a shoulder charge to Jamie's stomach to plaster her into the turnbuckle...or, at least that's what she would have done, if not for the well-timed kick to her shin. Needless to say, her leg warmers weren't exactly designed to take that sort of punishment, and the hit went straight to the bone.

"Owowowowowowowowo!" Blossom hopped back on one foot, doing an Indian dance as she rubbed her leg - that was going to hurt for a week, at least. "Jesum crow, ow!"

Jamie wasn't entirely sure what happened, she had had her eyes closed, but she liked the result. Now it was time to show Blossom who's boss! She followed up quickly and shoved her with both hands.

Hopping around on one leg wasn't exactly a stable position - when Jamie shoved her, Blossom went down with all the grace and poise of a stone, her solid back smacking hard on the mat and hitting her head.

She sat up after a few second, rubbing the back of her neck. "Geez. Ow. Starting to think you're not a ninja at all, got to be honest."

"Oh yeah? Show's what YOU know!" Jamie retorted.

She might always have been picked last in gym class, for soccer and for everything else, but in gym class the ball was never someone's ugly face! She stepped in as Blossom was getting to up and kicked like as if to bury her head in the back of the net.

Hm. Maybe Blossom was going about this the wrong way. Fighting Jamie the conventional way wasn't going to work, most likely - no, maybe she would have to bring up a few tricks from her own sleeve.

...well, from the sleeve she didn't have. Figuratively speaking, of course.

She took the kick to her face - it hurt like blazes, sure, numbed up her whole face and probably loosened a tooth,but she wouldn't have came into the AFW if all it took was a kick to the face to put her down for a count. She was betting Jamie wouldn't make that distinction, though, so she oversold it - she flopped back on impact, breaking into fierce spasms, flopping around like the kick had knocked her for a complete loop, then coming to a rest in the middle of the ring, her arms and legs splayed out, mouth wide open, vacant stare in her eyes - she could have only been more open if she put up a 'PIN ME' sign.

Jamie pointed with hysterical delight at Blossom's spreadeagled body. "She's DEAD! See what happens when you mess with ME?" She cackled.

She took a moment to strut her way over to her opponent, cockily dusted off her shoulders, and then took full advantage of the situation by setting upon Blossom and gleefully raining kicks and stomps down upon her.

"You better not scuff up my shoes with your ugly face! They're NEW!" She was very proud of her new shoes.

Well, so much for that plan. It relied on Jamie havIng scruples.

But Jamie was close - closer than she would have been if she didn't think Blossom was completely vulnerable. So while the plan wasn't a total success, it wasn't a total failure, either. It just meant that she had to take a little more pain the she initially expected; Jamie wasn't even a little strong, but on Blossom's prone body, even her attacks took a toll. Blossom took a few hard blows before she sprung up, eyes wide open.

She reaches out, trying to grab Jamie's wrists before she can scoot off. If that works, she'll jerk up and hit her in the face with a headbutt.

Jamie's gleeful and haphazard stomps came to a sudden halt, and instead she began frantically trying to jerk her wrists free. That came to a sudden halt as well, punctuated by the clonk of Blossom's forehead against her cheek.

"Gah!"

She staggered and fell onto her butt, shaking her head and blinking. She kicked at Blossom's hands to free herself, and then turned over and began to crawl away in no particular direction, emitting a constant whiny groaning noise. That must've been cheating somehow, and once she figured it out, she'd tell the ref and get that girl dis-freaking-qualified!
