There's something deeply cozy about being soggy and frigid after shoveling and trudging through knee-deep snow and then coming inside where it's comparatively warm and changing into dry clothes.

It'd be better still if it was just 80 degrees in the first place, but still.

That's why i LIKE the cold. Because I love warming up. You can always put on another layer if you get cold, but you can only get so naked if you're trying to cool off.

Not the Mexico argument, you nincompoop. Tat's argument about putting on layers.

Why would anyone want to put on layers just to be able to get out of bed, and even more to leave the house? And spending lots and lots of money to heat the house and everything. Taking off layers is so much more fun.

Because at some point, it feels like you want to take off layers of skin.

Or do what Hong Kong does and wear 5 layers in 50 degree heat (that's Celsius, call that 120 F if you're American and weird) because it's -10 degrees indoors with their ridiculous levels of AC.

I hate air conditioning so much. I can understand it down south where you might have to be dressy and not sweat drenched in 100 degree heat, but it really doesn't get that hot here. I wait ALL YEAR for it to get warm, then the moment it does everywhere it ice cold.

Why do people heat their houses to one thing in the winter, then in the summer they pay money to keep them 15 degrees colder than that. People are dumb.

And I'd much rather wear minimal clothes and sit in front of a fan and sweat than bundle up and shiver. The whole 3 hours a day of sunlight thing is also death to someone who's particularly prone to falling apart at the seems.
