Tiger and the Snow (For Dokkidokkimadoka)

"Hey, you two still with us?" An attendant asked as she, alongside a few others escorted both Yuki Onna and Spring Tiger to the backstage, heading over to the infirmary so that they could have proper treatment for any injuries they had during their match.

"I'm... fine..." Yuki answered. Still, she desperately needed some time to put her head down and rest. She felt everything around her was spinning. "Ngh..." She felt like she's probably going to vomit soon, but she kept it to herself.

Soon, they would arrive at the infirmary where they could finally rest. Yuki would have a damp towel put on her forehead as she was put on a bed.

"Takaoka-san... are you still there?" Yuki asked her opponent, the one whom she defeated in their match as she rested her head against a rather fluffy pillow.

Spring Tiger was relieved to arrive at the infirmary. She fell hard on the nearest bed and let out a deep breath. Every part of her hurt from her hard fought first match. Every small move caused sharp pain to shoot through her back. She was sure she'd be feeling the effects of being slammed on the mat for several days to come.

She noticed Yuki or, Yukina rather, laying in the bed next to her. She felt like she should say something but didn't want to disturb the victors rest. But Yukina called out to her first. "Y-yeah! I'm still here. she answered.

Wincing, Haruna would unite the strings on the back of her prized tiger mask. She would take a deep breath as she slipped off the hot artical. Her damp black hair fell freely about her shoulder. "boy, That thing sure gets hot." she said wiping sweat from her brow.

Yuki, or rather, Yukina, giggled when Spring Tiger, or rather, Haruna, mentioned how hot it felt to wear mask. Speaking of hot, Yukina noticed that her blouse was drenched in her sweat, and one could see the color of her bra underneath. Sighing, Yukina would untie the strings of her corset to loosen it before she start unbuttoning her dress shirt, revealing her black bra underneath.

"Yes, it's quite hot..." Yukina said, fanning herself with her hand, deliberately ignoring the fact that she was exposing her undergarment for Haruna to see. And her breasts were quite big too upon closer inspection.

Haruna's eyes widened as Yukina suddenly and unexpectedly revealed herself. They were the only ones in the room and they were both girls but... Haruna couldn't help but blush. Maybe it was the sheer size of Yukina's breasts.

Haruna looked away and impulsively placed her hands on her own flat chest. Her friends had told her that she was a late bloomer and that she would grow after high school. It had been a whole year and Haruna was still waiting for it to happen.

"I...umm... I thought you would be more... or what I mean is..." Haruna stammered not sure what she wanted to say. She wasn't even sure she had anything to say. She may have just been trying to divert attention away from her red face. It was definitely the last one.

Yukina gave Haruna a confused look with her natural red eyes. "What do you mean, Takaoka-san? Is there a problem about me?" She asked. She didn't exactly know what kind of impression that Haruna had about her, but Yukina could tell that the problem was her to begin with.

Still, she was aware that she might've exposed herself to Haruna, but she didn't have any problem with that. "If you're worried about this," she pointed at her exposed, brassiere-clad breasts. "Both of us are girls, so there should be no problem, right?" Yukina said in a rather innocent manner, unaware of the effect of her exposure to the other girl.

"What! I'm not worried about anything! I-I actually hadn't noticed your b-b-bre-chest!!! Heh heh..." Haruna panicked. It really wasn't fair. Yukina had already beaten her in a match, there was no reason she had to flaunt that she had Haruna beat in size as well.

Haruna sighed. She was being silly, Yukina was right, they were both girls so there was nothing to worry about. It was obvious that the martial artist wasn't an exhibitionist, flaunting her impressive rack for her own pleasure. Her red eyes were innocent, lacking in understanding. Haruna wondered if Yukina had always been this naive or if she had been brought up that way.

"Then, what's the problem?" Yukina asked. Then, she put some thought into it before she lowered her head, red eyes downcast. "Could it be... you're still angry at me for beating you in our match?" When she thought that she had come to a realization, Yukina was a little horrified. "Could it be that you hate me for ruining your debut match?"

Now feeling down, Yukina continued looking down, her bang covering her crimson eyes. "I... I can understand that. I can understand if you hate me for making you lose in your first match, but..." Sitting on the bed, she hugged her knees, now feeling depressed. It's just a misunderstanding from Yukina's part, of course, but Yukina truly believed that Haruna hated her for ruining her big night into AFW by beating her in their match. "...I'm sorry."

"Eh?! N-no, you have it all wrong!" Haruna said. She couldn't stand seeing the quiet martial artist with such a sad expression on her face. "I'm not angry at you at all, Aogami-san!"

Haruna climbed out of her bed. "Owowow!" she explained as she limped across the room. Pulling herself onto Yukia's bed, Haruna sat on her knees in front of the martial artist and took the blue haired girl by the hands. "I could never hate you, Aogami-san! As a matter of fact I think you're really really cool!" the dark haired rookie confessed. She then smiled brightly, still wincing in pain. "If you hadn't given it your all I would never had known I needed to improve! Thank you' Aogami-san!" Haruna's words were not just meant to cheer Yukina up but were also her true feelings on the matter.

"Really?" Yukina looked at Haruna's face after hearing her words. "D-do you really think I'm cool?" Her hands were held by the other girl.

For a while, she did not say anything, and the only sounds she made were the sounds of her soft breathing. Then, she let out a sniffle before she looked at Haruna with tears starting to appear at the edges of her eyes.

"I-it's... *sniff* the first time someone calling me cool..." Yukina said as she started crying. She pulled her hands back from Haruna's before she wiped her tears with them. And it's true. While she knew that the crowd loved seeing her in action, it was a different feeling. Even back then when she was still a karate-ka. She knew that her parents love her for who she is, but they would never say anything beyond "that's what's expected from an Aogami."

For them, she was no more than a continuation of her proud lineage rather than herself as a person. To hear someone telling her that for the first time brought out a myriad of emotions from the usually reserved girl. "N-nobody ever... *sniff* told me t-that..."

"P-please don't cry Aogami-san!" Haruna felt strange seeing the quiet and dignified girl open up and show such vulnerability and emotion to someone she only just met. Haruna wondered if Yukina had been alone most of her life. The thought of never being able to open up to anyone and being alone with your thoughts made Haruna sad.

The rookie would hug hug the crying girl tenderly. "You're funny, Aogami-san," Haruna would stroke the girl's long blue hair just as her own mother had done for her when she was young. "You would think I would be the one crying after our match, but here you are sobbing about silly things." she would say in a low voice trying to emulate her mother.

"You don't need to cry anymore, Aoigami-san, because we're friends now." Haruna declared. "And since we're friends I'll always be there for you!" perhaps it was a bit presumptuous to say two people were friends without hearing the other person's opinion but Haruna felt that she and Yukina had formed a special bond as rivals.
