Battle of the angels

Seraph decided to see what this other arena was about after taking care of some business elsewhere. She looked around quietly, and snorted when she just saw more humans. She frowns, and turns around, about to head backstage again.

As Seraph walked backstage again, Rika stepped up and stopped her. She was in her angel form now, her energy recharged and her strength increased. She had been beaten as a human, but would not lose to Seraph so easily now. She was a Cherub, one of Heaven's guardians. She was ready to fight again.

"Seraph, you looked down upon me because I was a human," Rika said, "But I am not. Cherubim Gabriel is my name, and I will excorcise the evil from your soul!"

Seraph stopped when Rika stepped in front of her. She then frowned at her.

"You don't know when to quit, do you?"

She snarled. "I'm not coming back with you, and there's nothing you can do to me. Beat it, squirt."

"I'm not going to make you come back," Rika said. Her wings unfurled and flashed brightly. Suddenly, all the people in the room stopped moving. The world became frozen in time, everything halted in its place.

"I am here to destroy you," Rika said, "Seraph, God's command is thus: destroy the angel who has fallen, erase the evil from her soul. Prepare yourself."

Seraph snerked at Rika when she declared that she was here to destroy her now. She couldn't help but laugh at the irony of how she was in this same position a while back. "Fine. But if I defeat you, you shall become my slave." She declared, letting her black feather wings slowly spread out of her back.

"That's only if you can defeat me," Rika said. She flew upwards, her wings powering her upwards with great speed. She hoped to draw Seraph up to the air, where both of them would be more evenly matched. On the ground, Seraph's strength gave her the edge. In flight, however, perhaps Rika's greater speed would give her an advantage.

Seraph smirked and flapped her wings downward, launching up fast at the angel, then would spin in the air once she was at her height to throw a hard kick across Rika's jaw!

Rika, at the last minute, ducked off to the side to avoid Seraph's powerful kick. She heard the air whooshing past her ears, thinking to herself, "I have to be careful, take no chances." Her right arm quickly looped upwards to grab Seraph's leg tightly, preventing the fallen angel from moving it. Rika would then attempt to swing Seraph around and throw her out, keeping a wary eye on her opponent's free leg in the process.

Seraph hissed when her leg was grabbed and she started to get swung around, and got thrown through the air. She started to fall, but righted herself midfall, spreading her wings back up and snarling up at Rika.

"And you want to defeat me?" Rika taunted Seraph. Seeing the angel right herself in mid-air did not dishearten Rika any bit, since she was confident that her greater speed would be able to give her an edge in the air. She would dive downwards feet-first, aiming to spear Seraph in the gut and drive the angel to the ground.
