Seraph narrowed her eyes at the angel, trying to duck under the ferocity of the slash, then throw both her sets of claws up into her gut, trying to twist the flesh around inside her gut to really make it hurt.

The slash missed its target as Seraph ducked out of the way. Seraph's claws then dug into Rika's exposed and unprotected belly, drawing blood as it pierced the soft skin.

"Ahhh!" Rika screamed. She frantically brought the hilt of the sword down, aiming to try and hit Seraph over the head with the blunt end of the sword.

"Ungh!!" Seraph grunted as she got nailed in the back of the head, and ended up flopping to the ground, hissing from the pain in her head.

"I have you!" Rika yelled out as she swung the sword downward in a wide arc. The flames on the sword fluttered and blazed greater, as Rika attempted to cut down Seraph and destroy the evil that had infested the angel.

Seraph heard Rika's cry and tried to roll out of the way to avoid her sword. She then clambered back to her feet to back away from Rika, snarling at her now.

"You're not getting away!" Rika yelled, charging at the retreating Seraph. She held her sword in front of her as she attacked, the flames blazing brightly.

Seraph managed to stand back up as Rika charged after her, and she tried to swipe her claws deep across Rika's face. "Back off!!" She hissed angrily at her.

Seraph's sudden swipe left several deep gashes in Rika's cheek. It also unbalanced her, forcing her to miss her swing and even drop her sword. The flame flicked out on the blade as it fell to the ground. Rika had no time to pick it up.

Seraph saw Rika dropping her blade and immediately moved in to try and grab the angel by her throat, digging her claws lightly into her neck and lifting her off her feet. "Surrender." She ordered her.

Rika felt sharp points of pain in her neck as Seraph grabbed her. Her breath was choked off as Seraph tightened and lifted her up off the ground. The claws dug into her skin and left small cuts. Droplets of blood dripped out.

"No... I won't," Rika said in defiance, "Even if you break me, I won't."
