Angels and Demons

The locker room wasn't like the AFW ones. It was cold, had a tile floor, some broken lockers, and an odd but not bad smell coming from the stalls. But it was what it was. It wasn't the worst gym in town, but it was one people wouldn't look for Talia in. That was really her only requirement. She washed her hands and brushed her hair back with the residual water. Then the redhead put on dark blue fingerless gloves. It matched her midnight blue top and shorts. She looked up at her reflection. Supposedly the outfit complimented her orange hair.

At least that was what people said. But since when did anyone actually know anything? Everyone's a know it all. Everyone knows best. Everyone thinks they're better than you, that's why they tell you when you're wrong and not when you're right. Everyone is soooooo smart.

But Talia knew better. They weren't smart at all. They were only insecure about themselves. That's why they rushed to criticize others yet got so defensive and offended whenever someone attempted to criticize them. How dare someone attempt to poke the house of cards that is their image? They think themselves better for knocking other people's cards down and act like they're making the world a better place. But not when it happens to them, no. They're too perfect for flaws, they're too smart for mistakes, they're too pretty for-

"Hey, are you ready yet Wilson?"

Talia punched the mirror in a rage, shattering her one reflection into seven. She fumed, staring at her distorted image.

"Hey! That's coming out of your paycheck," the manager said sternly in Japanese. He left, propping the door open on his way out. "Come on," he said to her as he walked down the hall. Talia wasn't sure if breaking a mirror was bad luck here in Japan. Frankly, she didn't care. Luck wasn't fair to begin with. Luck is how undeserving people got places. It was sickening. She had to work hard for everything in her life, fortune had never given her anything. It gave her sister things. It gave her brother things. It gave everyone she hated things, and usually at her own expense. She clenched her fists and walked out of the locker room to the gym.

She didn't need luck. She wasn't the weak jobber she once was. No longer were people going to walk over her anymore.

Suzuka was already in the ring when she saw her opponent walk out. The manager invited her here, which was a big thrill for her. The 5'6'' 150lb 33 year old worked and wrestled part time in a small neighborhood promotion in Tokyo. Clad in a black one-piece swimsuit, white kneepads, white elbowpads and black boots Suzuka was ready. She wasn't in the greatest shape.... or even in shape at all but she was by far the bigger woman in this match. She was going to slam this red head around, looking to impress the manager.

Suzuka was already dreaming of wrestling full time, and quitting her secretary job. The pay was ok but she hated the work. Even though wrestling was part time, it is what she really loved. She figured her son would think it would be cool to have a mom who did a different job and not something typical.

She smiled at the small red head approaching. "Hello! Ready to spar?" She asked in a friendly tone with a smile on her face. This woman was smaller but much more fit and firm. No matter, Suzuka knew this was her chance to shine!

Talia didn't look up at her sparring opponent as she slid into the ring, instead just turning around and walking to the corner. "Yea," was all she said. There shouldn't have been much motivation for her in the ring. It wasn't like her job depended on this spar. It was purely to judge Suzuka, not herself. The gym manager was sitting nearby, the frown still on his face from when Talia had broken the mirror. Maybe she did actually have to try for this to make up for that.

With a sigh, the redhead turned back around to face Suzuka. She looked a little...soft. Maybe she had heart, who knew, but she certainly didn't seem to have anything going for her. She was old, even by Talia's quarter-century standard, out of shape and didn't appear to be built tremendously either. She was bigger than Talia, sure, but she doubt the woman knew how to use what strength she did have.

No matter. Not her funeral. "Shall we get started?" Talia asked while stepping forward. It was a spar, not a deathmatch. She offered out her hands in a test of strength to the woman. Giving the woman any advantage she could get seemed charitable enough.

Suzuka nodded and stepped up, locking up with Talia! She didn't know what the smaller woman was thinking when she offered the lockup. "Do your best!" Suzuka said as she locked in and pushed Talia, looking to overpower the smaller woman!

However, Suzuka never accounted for the fact that Talia had a lower center of gravity and much less bodyfat on her. Still, Suzuka did her best to press on hoping to succeed!

The thirty or so pound difference really was noticeable. Talia wasn't going all out, but despite her conditioning and the lower center of gravity, Suzuka was winning. She gritted her teeth together, but otherwise didn't really show much sign of strain as she backed up. The gym manager watched curiously, surprised to see Talia seemingly going easy on the newcomer.

She retreated all the way to the corner as Suzuka overpowered her. Her back was up against the turnbuckle as she looked at the woman. "Not too bad."

Suzuka was thrilled to get off to a good start, and did her best to keep her momentum going! She brought her knee up into Talia's abdomen and pulled her away from the ropes, grabbing on to lift the red haired woman up for a suplex!

"Ha! Lets see you get up from this!" Suzuka taunted as she began to lift, hoping that her size would continue to allow her to keep the edge! If all went well, Suzuka figured she would have another victory inside the ropes within a few more minutes!

Talia groaned in pain and bent over when Suzuka's hit her in the abdomen with her knee. "Ugh..." she groaned. It was always hard to just take free shots like that, especially from larger people. In no time at all, she found herself lifted up into the air and then crashing back down to the mat. As she landed, she spread her limbs out to break the fall but it still knocked the wind out of her.

She arched her back and groaned breathlessly in pain. She spent a few more moments on the mat, both her hands on her lower back. Yes, it hurt, but she was still wading the waters to see what the woman could, and would, do. It was suppose to be a test on Suzuka after all.

Suzuka stood over Talia and looked down. "Not worn out already are you?" Suzuka asked as she let out a hearty laugh. This was going better than she could have dreamed! She was sure to impress everyone here if things kept up like this!

She jumped up, looking to crash down on top of Talia with a big leg drop across her upper chest! Suzuka was rolling and had a great chance to use her girth against the lean woman laying on the mat underneath her!

Talia panted lightly on the mat, looking up at the dim lights of the gym. They were all eclipsed as Suzuka jumped into the air and came down across Talia's chest. The smaller woman groaned, crossing her arms over her chest and rolling to her front side. "Agh..." she coughed, keeping her left arm across her as she planted her right fist into the mat. She started to crawl towards the nearby ropes, hoping to use it help her climb up.

Suzuka saw Talia getting up and grabbed her by the arm she extended to the ropes to pull her up. "Let me help!" Suzuka whipped Talia to the opposite side of the ring and moved to the center, setting up to deliver a powerslam to the smaller woman! If she was able to connect she wanted to remain on top, hooking Talia's leg for the pin!

Suzuka was feeling good, taking the fight to a regular wrestler and not just a part timer for a change! She didn't think a small lady like Talia would be able to kick out due to Suzuka's size and due to her assuming Talia lacked any actual strength. Suzuka knew how to handle a one dimensional speed wrestler and she was about to do it again...
