How Curiosity Killed the Cat (so to speak/ for IndigoDragon)

Cougra was glad everyone had a good time, but now the two want to do a little more before bedtime. "Well, obviously we have to clean up and then we can think about it in the meantime."

"Ughhh.....Cleaning?" Yoshiro whined,followed by Anampo giving her a playful shove. "Come on,we have to." Both girls stood up

Cougra smiled in helping both girls up as she said, "And the sooner we finish, the sooner I can give a surprise for you both!" She took the empty bowl and took it to the dishwasher.

A surprise? Thts all the two needed to hear to start rushing to clean up.Anampo threw out the plates and empty boxes,and Yoshiro put away the extras into the fridge

Cougra helped to clean the table of crumbs and even make the glass shine with windex and paper towels. She would even help take out the trash in the kitchen and head out to the garbage disposal. Unknown to the two, Cougra will wash her hands and come back with a special though medium box.

When Cougra left after helping to throw away the trash,the other two plopped down on the couch.They hadn't worked that had in a while.Cougra came back,and Yoshiro smiled. "So,whats this 'surprise?'"

"Well, correcting myself, there are two surprises." Cougra placed the box on the table and took out a few smaller plates and utensils. She opens the box to reveal a coffee cake with a blue bird, a grey bunny, and a black cat at the top for decoration. "Ta-da!"

There was a heavy moment of silence.This was just....Amazing.Yoshiro's arms shook as she sat up to see the cat,bird and rabbit. "How....? How did you do this?"

Cougra smiled as she replied, "Oh, since planning our girl's night out, I asked a local baker to bake us a cake that shows how much I appreciate us being together as friends and a little like sisters!" She turned to Anampo and asked, "What about you? What do you think?"

Turning to Anampo,Cougra could see tears forming in her eyes. "I dont know what to think.Its the best thing Ive ever seen.To be honest,there's still a lot in this world I dont understand,and seeing this marks one off the list."
