Last Woman Standing: Adrian vs Natasha Grudge Match

Adrian scowled as Natasha seemed no worse for wear from the tumble. Obviously it wouldn't be nearly enough to make a big deal of process, but getting smashed with a clothesline, landing shoulder first on the metal edge of the ring and then falling to the floor should have left a bruise or something. "Well then why didn't you get me when I was taking my sweet time? If it was really nothing to you." She said with a smirk. Adrian knew that she had taken a while getting up and if Natasha was as unharmed as she said she was, she would have already pressed the advantage and would already be mangling her leg again. "Whether it's arrogance, sympathy or pain, you missed a chance there." She said, as she tried to figure out what to do next.

That reckless assault hadn't really gained either one the upper hand, and Natasha was still probably looking for whatever counter she could get off of Adrian's next assault, the cosplayer would have to choose her spot well. Going full power caught her off guard last time, but that was after stunning her with a counter of her own. This time if she tried a lariat, she'd be staring at the lights again but this time without the satisfaction. As the French woman closed in however, her options were getting more and more limited so eventually she settled for a quick kick to the gut as she got in close. She didn't really want to be caught in a grappling war on the outside, too many variables.

The look on Adrian's face was enough to let Natasha know that her little tough act was working fairly well, the woman seemingly annoyed over the fact that she hadn't seemed to shaken the french woman at all despite all her attempts to inflict bodily harm upon her. In truth she was feeling fairly sore after that hard fall onto the unforgiving floor around the ring, but all her training had taught Natasha to appear calm and at ease despite whatever pain she might be feeling, the woman repeating in her mind to be as still as sitting water as she kept up the serene appearance. "Isn't it obvious Adrian, wanted to make sure you were okay, after all I would feel terrible if you injured yourself again against me." She said knowing full well that would infuriate the cosplayer, pushing the girl's buttons to get her angry was a favorite tactic of hers as an angry wrestler was a sloppy one.

Natasha never took her eyes off of Adrian as she approached, sliding her feet forward ever so slowly to make sure she was prepared to deal with any sudden attack from her opponent. Despite Adrian having tasted Natasha's ability with counters she went for a straight kick to her gut, one that Natasha grabbed with both hands before it could make contact with her stomach. "A kick, really?" She said before trying to push the leg backward to put Adrian off balance, her arms coming up as she suddenly lunged forward with a clothesline.

Of course Natasha was playing it off as just feeling sorry for her, as if she'd ever admit to being anything less than perfect for everyone. But Natasha could probably act cool in a volcano, so trying to get an accurate judge of how she was doing by just looking at her while she was catching her breath. If she wanted to find out stuff like that, she'd have to find out directly after hitting a move when she didn't have the chance to recompose.


Adrian just smiled when Natasha caught her kick, however. It was kind of sloppy, but that was the whole point, jumping off with the one leg on the ground as Natasha was mid-condescend she tried to use her free leg to kick the French woman in the side of the head with an enziguri "Yes. A kick." Adrian snarked back. Her martial arts technique probably could defend her against most suitable moves, but an enziguri, especially one that relied on your opponent catching a more traditional kick, was ridiculously stupid by most standards, mostly because of where it left the attacker, but with her hands on Adrian's other foot, maybe this would be the chink in Rain's seemingly impenetrable armour.

Natasha couldn't help but feel as if Adrian was underestimating her yet again, if the woman still thought such a poorly executed kick was ever going to connect then there wasn't much hope for the cosplayer. That was what Natasha was thinking the instant before the leg of Adrian struck the side of her head with a sickening crack, Natasha's body crumpling to the side as her whole body went limp on her, her hands somehow managing to grab the very bottom rope to keep herself from falling all the way to the ground but it was clear damage had been done.

In the end it had been her who had failed to give Adrian enough credit, otherwise she might have seen that coming after such an obviously sloppy move, but instead she had been suckered into the enziguri. Groaning softly after the blow to her head Natasha found her vision blurry and her head ringing, a throbbing pain forming in the side of her head while she did everything as she could just to remain standing there with her hands on the rope.

This time it looked like Natasha had underestimated Adrian's ability, or she'd underestimated how much Adrian was underestimating her by.... underestima-ception. Either way, the satisfying crack of kickpad against skull, was all Adrian needed to lift her spirits as she picked herself back up. Satisfied that she'd really put a noticeable hurt on the French woman. Blow that off as just feeling sorry for me. she thought with a wicked grin on her face. She had a gameplan now, a weak point of her own to target.

Reaching around Natasha, she tried to loop her arm over her opponent's head, using her other one to give her a solid punch to the wrist to break her grip on the top rope. All that Adrian wanted to support Natasha right now was her neck being trapped by her tight hold, putting a little pressure to stop a quick recovery and increase the dizzyness. She wasn't confident enough to go for a full guillotine choke, but a tight front facelock should help a little.

Natasha wasn't in any condition to resist Adrian as the cosplayer wrapped one of her arms around the french beauty's neck, applying just enough pressure to keep Natasha from breathing properly but not enough to outright choke her out. She used her handhold on the rope to relieve some of the pressure but Adrian wasted no time in taking that away from Natasha too, delivering punch after punch to her wrists until Natasha couldn't hold on any longer and had to release it, leaving her in Adrian's full control.

There were ways to escape this she knew but at that point her mind was still too muddled to bring any of them to mind, only the simplest of thoughts finding their way into her head and it was one of these that she went with. Unfortunately the elbows she threw at Adrian's midsection were too weak to cause any real damage, she just didn't have the strength after the kick to her head and the headlock which followed it, but she wasn't going to just stand there and take it either.

Adrian pulled Natasha away from the ropes by the neck, wincing at the French woman's protesting elbow shots to her midsection, but even then, she could tell that she was firmly in control. "What's the matter? Don't tell me that you haven't been training?" She asked, trying to sink in her hold tighter. Sprawling out back to try and bring NAtasha to the ground. "Not that I blame you for slacking, you've obviously been sooooo busy, you know, with all your spa sessions, your makeovers, your orgies in your Scrooge McDuck money bin..." she taunted.

Natasha could be heard groaning from within the ever tightening headlock that Adrian had her locked into, her elbow strikes growing steadily weaker with each one she threw until it was all she could do just to hang onto the waist of the cosplayer. Her hands slid up along the sides of Adrian until she was clutching at the arm gripping her neck, weakly tugging upon it in what turned out to be a futile attempt to free herself as Adrian brought her down to the ground with a DDT. The blow to the top of her head was a hard one and it sent a jolt of pain through her entire body, Natasha's struggles to free herself ceasing almost immediately after the hit.

That was at least until Adrian began to run her mouth as she seemed to love to do, the woman taunting Natasha in the worst way possible in the french woman's eyes as Adrian did her best to undercut the confidence of Natasha, and while she never actually said it Natasha couldn't help but hear the word porn star come from Adrian. "Shut...the fuck up." Natasha said through gritted teeth with anger clear in her voice, the french woman suddenly coming to life as she began to tug at the arm around her neck as hard as she could, trying to free herself from the choke.

Adrian winced as her shoulders smacked down on the hard floor, that was probably not the best move to keep the pressure on, the shock of the impact, weakening her grip on Natasha's neck, probably giving the french woman some valuable breathing space, if the impact didn't take the fight out of her as well. But then... she blinked "Did you just... get mad at me?" Adrian asked, had her taunts actually worked, had her strategy to get Natasha off balance been a good one? Had the pre-planning session for this fight actually turn out NOT to be a huge waste of time?

"Holy shit, you have emotions other than condescending and smug!" Adrian gloated, throwing her head back to laugh before Natasha seemed to snap back to life. Pulling herself free with relative ease. "Crap." the former cosplayer cursed, scrambling to her feet. She knew Natasha was underestimating her at the start, but since she'd never seen her angry like this, she didn't really have any pre-made plans for what to do when the Martial Artist was really pissed off with her.

Natasha liked to think of herself as water and mirrored her personality off of it, always striving to keep herself calm under the pressure of daily life and especially in her AFW matches, believing it to be a large piece of what had brought her success thus far. Rarely did she let her frustration or anger come to the surface, but more and more lately she was finding it harder to suppress such negative feelings, and with Adrian she had been finding it even more difficult than ever.

Even so if Adrian had said anything right then other than what she had Natasha could have kept a lid on her emotions, but the woman had pressed the one button which infuriated Natasha more than anything else, being told she wasn't good enough simply because she came from money and enjoyed a very sexual lifestyle. Adrian likely didn't realize it but her words hit a strong note with Natasha because she had heard all of it before, that she was a mere porn star or just another spoiled rich kid, the french woman having come to the AFW to prove that she could accomplish great things on her own, and here this cheater was calling her a slacker.

"I told you to shut up Adrian!" She yelled out just as she freed herself from the woman's choke hold, her hands clawing at the body of Adrian as the small woman scrambled back to get away from her. She was still winded from her time in the choke hold but she fought through that, getting the air she needed after forcing her body to get back up to her feet where she stared down Adrian with the anger the woman hadn't believed she had clear in her face.

"Congratulations Adrian, is this what you've wanted this whole time, to get me angry? I've tried to be friendly, to get past the Adrian everyone has told me to steer clear of, but you win, I won't try to be nice anymore!" Natasha blurted out without even think about it just as she threw herself at Adrian, having every intention of just causing Adrian pain right then. Even angry she showed herself to be a martial artist at heart, throwing punches high at the woman's face hoping she would bring her arms up to block one of them and when she did Natasha would bring her knee up to strike Adrian hard in the stomach, trying to double her over so she could grab Adrian by her hair and fling her headfirst into the announcer's table.
