Last Woman Standing: Adrian vs Natasha Grudge Match

Adrian grit her teeth and closed her eyes, trying to block out the pain and stop giving Natasha any more pleasure from applying it, her struggles were making the hold unstable and eventually she might be able to get her arm free from it. However, her struggles also gave Natasha the idea to save Adrian the struggle and after one last pull back, Adrian's own resistance caused her to get catapulted forward, her legs quickly untangling as she tried to roll through the escape instead of ending up face first on the mat for Natasha to try again


Her whole body ached as she slowly rose back to her feet, fighting Natasha was still as difficult and as painful as ever so progress was slow. She'd only really gotten 2 decent shots in while Natasha had gotten in her surfboard hold, the initial knee drop and her ass in the former cosplayer's face. Adrian would have to be more careful now but she couldn't just let the french woman dictate the pace of the match, she needed to find some way of getting in control and staying in control without having to use her usual default response to unfavourable situations, spraying mist in her face then dropping her on her head. No dirty tricks like that tonight, she was going to shut Natasha up by beating her fair and square, but how? On every exchange Natasha seemed to have her number, even when Adrian thought she had the edge it was always cruelly snatched away from her. She needed to find something that the seemingly infallible Natasha couldn't get the better of, and fast.

It amazed Natasha that Adrian had somehow rolled out of her surfboard hold instead of ending up slammed face first against the mat, it was truly a move she hadn't seen before and one she was uncertain if she herself could pull off, though she hoped she never had to try such a risky escape move. Not wanting to be beaten in the race to see who would get back to their feet first Natasha rolled back onto her shoulders and kicked out with her feet, getting them back underneath her as she flipped forward, landing in a low crouch where she remained while watching Adrian carefully. She had been expecting a whole bag of tricks from Adrian in this match tonight but thus far she hadn't seen any, gone was the poison mist and the brass knuckles, it truly seemed that the cosplayer wanted to win this match fair and square, something that Natasha actually admired if it was all true.

Rising back to her feet Natasha decided to allow Adrian to get up unmolested, though she didn't once lower her hands as she kept her guard up. "Is it true you are dead set against using any of your old tricks in this match Adrian? If thats the truth then I have to say, I admire you for changing your ways a bit, even if its in order to hurt me." Natasha called out to Adrian while trying to sound as sincere as possible, for once she wasn't trying to sound sarcastic when talking to the cosplayer. After she got her answer Natasha would quickly close the distance between them, running right at the woman only to then try ducking past her so she could bounce off the ropes and come back at Adrian, attempting to leap up and pull the woman's head underneath her arm for a DDT.

Adrian's quick thinking and instinct as to what to do when being flipped onto her face had saved he from a nasty landing but the surfboard stretch had taken it's toll and already she could feel her arms ache. She wasn't going to be anything close to as fast as Natasha when it came to standing up but surprisingly, Natasha didn't press her assault for once. Was the French woman taking pity on her?

"S-shut up..." she mumbled when Natasha complimented for not going to dirty tricks already. She didn't know that she had! For all Natasha knew there was a poison mist capsule hidden under her wristband or brass knuckles down her tights! "I could beat you any way I wanted to, I'm just being nice. Not that you deserve it!" She defended herself before Natasha charged back in. Adrian tried to throw a quick clothesline but Natasha ducked underneath and bounced off the ropes, possibly trying to get her off guard for whatever her real attack was.

As she ran back though, Adrian tried something different. She'd done enough practice of this during rehab, crouching down she jumped up into the air and sent both her boots in Natasha's direction, hoping to nail her with a dropkick off the rebound. If she messed This up, then she'd be back down on the floor with little way to defend herself, but if it worked then she'd have stalled Natasha's momentum and given herself a bit more recovery time to deal with her protesting limbs.

Natasha was doing her best to be polite to the woman but Adrian was making that ever more difficult, even as she tried to tell her that she admired this change in her tactics Adrian spat it right back in her face. She realized that she was grinding her teeth in her annoyance and promptly stopped, her eyes narrowing as Adrian continued to insult her for her efforts. Tired of trying to talk to the woman for the moment Natasha did what she should have done the moment she had risen back to her feet, charging the cosplayer who responded by bringing her arm up to clothesline Natasha who ducked underneath the outstretched arm and bounced off the ropes, coming right back after Adrian with a little clothesline of her own.

"If I don't deserve it then come on, use your dirty tricks already Adrian!" Natasha shouted at the girl just before she was caught off guard by a backwards drop kick from Adrian, bringing her arms close to her chest when she saw the girl take to the air but it did little to alleviate the force of the blow which sent Natasha stumbling back against the ropes. All that kept the french woman from dropping to the mat were those very ropes, Natasha hooking her arms over the top ropes and sitting upon the middle rope, breathing heavily after having the air driven from her lungs.

Adrian may have been on the floor but this time it was Natasha who was reeling from the surprise dropkick. It also thankfully brought the awkwardness of the French woman trying to compliment her to a quick end, as she scrambled up to her feet and surveyed her handiwork. Now was the time to follow up, but how? She could twist her arm in the ropes, it was all legal, but Adrian was thinking something a little simpler than that.

Charging in she swung her arm out, trying to catch Natasha with a clothesline only carrying enough momentum to take both of them tumbling to the outside, Foley style. This was going to hurt a lot for Adrian, but if it worked Natasha would feel like she got her head taken off as well as however many bumps on the ring apron it took to get them both to the floor.

Natasha was reeling after that unexpected dropkick from Adrian, it was a move she had never seen the girl use before in such a fashion and was evidence that she had indeed been training for this return match of hers. Staring down at her feet as she groaned softly from the pain in her chest Natasha slowly began to lift her head up, just about ready to get off the ropes and back into the fight, but she was too slow as Adrian was already upon her.

"Ugh!" She cried out as the cosplayer smashed into her, Natasha's wrapping her arms instinctively around the woman as they both went tumbling over the top rope and crashing down onto the unforgiving floor below, Natasha's back hitting the ring apron on the way down before she inevitably landed on her back. It was exactly the sacrificial move she should have expected Adrian to pull out but i had caught her off guard all the same, the french woman feeling as if her whole body was bruised from the hard fall.

Adrian didn't get away from her reckless assault unscathed either, with Natasha holding her close as she fell over the top rope she smashed into the ring edge as well, leaving bot of them lying on the arena floor. The crowd jeering the aggressor yet somewhat surprised that she'd managed to get everything off relatively cleanly. Every shot she got in so far had been from skill or determination rather than trickery and deceit, and for now she was just going to bask in her own glory... on the cold floor... while she waited for things to stop hurting as much as they did.

"One!" The referee called out, neither competitor seeming to be making much initial progress to their feet, snapping Adrian somewhat back into reality as she rolled over onto her front to try and get up on all fours. It didn't matter if arms, legs and backs hurt she needed to get back to standing up.

Natasha was barely aware of the referee beginning her count as she laid there flat on her back upon the cold and very unforgiving floor, groaning as she slid a hand down to the small of her back rubbing the aching spot gingerly. Glancing over to the side she could see Adrian rolling over onto her front, beginning her own attempt to get back to her feet before the ten count while also spurring Natasha to do the same, the french woman putting the pain she was going through aside as she forced herself to sit up. Shaking the cob webs out of her head Natasha slowly pushed herself up onto her feet, wobbling a little on her way up but with a little help from the bottom rope she managed to keep standing.

Adrian crawled her way to the steps as her opponent staggered back to her feet, using the smaller increments of height to push herself back up to standing, even if she was still feeling fairly wobbly on her legs. "Heh..." she chuckled as she turned around, trying to get back to facing Natasha. She wasn't sure what to do next but hopefully that tumble had given Natasha a bit of pause while both of them caught their breath.

Now back on her feet and fairly confident that she was not going to fall back to the floor, at least not without some help from Adrian, Natasha turned to face the woman just as she was doing the same. She locked her eyes with Adrian's and flashed her a confident grin to show that she was unfazed by the unexpected trip through the ropes, even if that wasn't entirely true as she was certainly still feeling sluggish after the hard fall. "Was that all you had Adrian, or did you really think a little fall would be enough to put me out?" She said as she took a few slow steps closer towards Adrian, never looking away from her as she looked for any sign of her going on the attack.
