“Well, this is it…”

Soo Yun:

Standing backstage in her ring gear, Jeong Soo Yun very anxiously waited. Tonight she was set to make her big league debut, her first match as a member of the AFW Friction roster! It was exciting, but Soo Yun could hardly remember a moment in her life when she had felt more nervous. More eyes would be on her during a match than there ever had been before, and she understood her opponent tonight was quite a physical specimen.

“Hey, are you a ring girl? You know this isn’t a Momentum show, right?” a nearby stagehand asked Soo Yun after getting a look at her. The question snapped the Korean girl out of her thoughts as she stammered with her answer.

“Uh-no, I… I’m competing tonight. M-my match is up next,” she said bashfully. The stagehand held up a clipboard with a runsheet breaking down the matches on hand for the night, and raised a brow while reading, then even let out a small laugh.

“So you’re the one taking on the 7-foot giant in the Last Woman Standing match? Well...good luck.” The snicker tacked on to the end of that sentence as the stagehand walked off was not exactly a confidence booster, but she hardly had any time to dwell on it as her music started playing.

Soo Yun took a deep breath, then strode out onto the stage and began walking down the aisle. At first, the sight of so many people filling the crowd around her was just surreal. She almost wondered if this was some sort of dream she might wake from any moment now. The response from the crowd was...modest, at best. A small portion politely cheered, though most just quietly watched on.

It was only once Soo Yun ascended the steel steps and entered the ring that she noticed something was off. There had been no ring announcement for her during her entrance. And as she looked around the ring, she noticed the cameramen didn’t seem to be focusing their cameras on anything in particular, but just wandered in their generally assigned areas as if waiting for a cue. That’s when she realized the show was on a commercial break. Soo Yun was familiar enough with this stuff to know what that meant. They would come back from commercial just in time for her opponent’s entrance. She would get a small, token ring announcement, but only after a much more enthusiastic one was given to her foe. She knew the kind of wrestlers this sort of treatment was typically reserved for. It was understandable that people saw her as an underdog tonight, but clearly no one involved with the booking of this match believed she had any remote chance of winning it.

The thought brought a pang of embarrassment, but she pushed it to the side. Whatever they thought of her, Soo Yun had a chance tonight to prove them wrong. She made that the sole focus of her mind while she stretched in her corner and waited for her opponent to come out. And, seeing the cameramen scurry to assume their correct positions, she had a feeling the wait wouldn’t be much longer...

Another night, another match for the massive over seven foot amazon known as Origa Xenia. Though this time this was a different kind of matchup for the giant as she would be the opponent for a newly debuting star. There wasn’t much she heard about her, in fact there wasn’t much of anything since they kind of scheduled the match with her at the last minute. Origa could never say no to the extra cash but she couldn’t help but feel that management was throwing this new girl into the deep end without a life preserver.

Why, Origa had to actually be told by some of the officials that her opponent had already made her way to the ring. A shock to the amazon considering their was a tv in the locker room to allow those to see the show, but right now it was on the commercial break. Origa herself knew how much of a slap to the face that must be to the new girl. It. Basically said that management considered her nothing more than canon fodder for the main stars to throw around.

Well, not if she had anything to say about it. Origa had no intention on losing but maybe she could help this girl shine a bit in front of the crowd and the higher ups. And there was no better way to do that than to manage to somehow topple an amazon. With her plan in mind Origa finished adjusting her wrestling attire. Her purple corset and arm sleeves, her black wrestling shorts and finally her purple boots.

With the start of her music, Origa stepped out of the gorilla position and into the arena proper where she was showered with cheers and shouts. The crowd loved the caramel amazon and they made their love known as she walked down the ramp and to the ring proper. Where upon reaching she would climb up onto the apron before stepping over the top rope to enter. It was here that she finally laid eyes on her soon to be opponent as she backed into her corner.

She was a small thing, at least compared to the amazon. And Origa could see the nervousness and shy air that she formed. A shyness that Origa would try to calm by giving the white haired woman a small good natured smile. The announcer proceeded to announce to the world Origa’s name to a chorus of cheers before turning and with much less enthusiasm prepared to announce the name of her opponent.

The sudden burst of noise from the crowd startled Soo Yun, which caused her to blush in mild embarrassment immediately after, though it seemed everyone was far too focused on her opponent to have noticed. Looking that way herself now, her brows raised when she saw the woman. “Oh, wow…” she quietly muttered. Soo Yun had heard the stagehand backstage mention that Origa stood over 7 feet tall, but only now after seeing how she towered over the fans while walking by them did she really understand just how tall this woman was.

When Origa stepped over the ropes and entered the ring, Soo Yun felt like a little mouse in the presence of a fully grown giraffe. And even with her immense height, the giantess was stunningly beautiful as well. It was comforting that the woman, rather than seek to intimidate her with her size, offered a friendly smile to help put her at ease. Soo Yun smiled back and nodded a silent “thanks” in response.

“Um… G-good luck! Let’s have a fun match,” she said timidly.

The bell rang, and the newcomer took a big breath to relax herself before coming out of the corner. She put her fists up and bent her knees slightly, taking up her stance while moving out of her corner. Soo Yun began to circle her foe, trying to figure out how best to approach. After a few moments she shifted in closer, then threw out a quick low kick with her right foot aimed for Origa’s left leg. Nothing big, just testing the waters a bit.

It looked as if the white haired woman was trying to shrink into herself as she saw Origa approach the ring. The amazon couldn’t help but feel for her, because it truly looked as if they were feeding the smaller girl to the lions with this match up. So Origa would do her best to try and calm her nerves a bit with a smile. Anyone else in Origa’s place would probably lord their massive advantage over her opponents head, but Origa wasn’t like that.

And it looked like Yun appreciated the gesture if her grateful nod towards the amazon was any indication. But that would be the end of it as the bell had rung and the match was on and the two women began to circle each other. “You too, Give me your best shot alright.” the amazon replied as she bent down slightly and spread her legs a bit. Her stature looked as if it left a shadow over Yun’s head.

But the white haired woman didn’t let her fear get the best of her. For after a few moments of circling, she would come in to send a low kick to Origa’s leg. The amazon did nothing but tense her attacked limb, letting Yun’s foot bounce off like a rubber ball against a brick wall. In response Origa would pick her right leg up and send her booted foot towards Yun’s chest. It was less of a kick and more of a powerful shove that if connected would surely send the smaller woman to the floor.

A loud smack echoed through the building when Soo Yun’s foot struck the leg of the giantess. But just looking at the two of them, if not for the sound the kick had created, one would not have been able to tell that the Korean newcomer had attacked at all! Her eyes went wide with surprise. That same strike with the same force would have had a much more pronounced effect on most other women. But to a giantess like Origa, the kick hadn’t seemed to hurt her at all. If anything, Soo Yun’s foot may have even received more damage than the leg it had kicked!

Then a giant foot came up, blasting right through Soo Yun’s guard and hammering against her chest, forcing a heavy grunt from the girl and throwing her right off her feet! The newcomer fell onto her back near the corner, grimacing and holding an arm over her chest while pushing herself to sit up. The shadow of the giantess loomed darkly over her, and from her seated position the already towering figure of Origa seemed even more mountainous! Just what was she going to do about this?

Nervously swallowing a lump in her throat, Soo Yun picked herself back up again. As hard as it was to resist the natural urge, worrying wouldn’t help her situation. One way or another, she had to find a way to bring the bigger girl down. So she bolted toward one of Origa’s huge legs, dropping to a knee and trying to slide around her to come up behind her with her arms wrapped around the powerful limb. If kicking the leg was no good, then perhaps she could trip her from behind. It didn’t feel like a plan that was very likely to succeed, but it was worth a try at least...

On any other woman, Yun’s kick would’ve been a shock of pain that either left them hopping on one foot, or cause them to fall to the canvas. But for Origa, all it did was bounce off her long muscled legs with nary any damage. Visually that is, for almost silently the amazon let out a hiss of air through her nose. The only and easily missable sign that the amazon had felt any pain from the kick, and she had to admit. Yun definitely had some strong legs.

But the amazon didn’t let the purple haired woman know that. Instead she would respond to her kick with one of her own, her massive boot shot past her opponents defenses and slammed in the woman’s chest. She was sent head over heels stumbling back before slamming into the bottom turnbuckle of a corner. Instead of going after her, Origa waited where she was to see what Yun’s next plan would be.

She wouldn’t have to wait long as the smaller girl would charge forward and slide behind Origa’s massive frame and grab hold of the back of her leg. Origa shouted as she wobbled slightly, trying to maintain her balance as the purplette tried to pull her down. Eventually Origa decided on a middle ground as she fell to one knee, though she wasn’t going to give Yun the time to capitalize as she would try to pry her off of her leg and shove her away.

Many watching, and even Yun herself, had had their doubts that this strategy would be able to succeed in bringing the giant down. Not surprisingly, she failed in her effort to tackle Origa down to the mat, though she managed to unsteady the much larger woman’s balance. With a bit more work, she was even able to bring Origa down to her knee, a small but encouraging victory in itself. Evidently the crowd agreed, a small noise of surprise rumbling through the masses as if a collective thought of “Oh? Could this end up working out after all?” ran through all their minds simultaneously.

But her progress ended there, as the giant shoved Yun away before she could capitalize further. The rookie slid to a stop on her side several feet away with a grunt, quickly pushing herself to her hands and knees. Still no luck, but maybe she could change that now that Origa was lower to the ground.

Trying to act fast, Yun picked herself up and hurried back to her foe, attempting to jump onto her back before she rose up to full height again. Her hope was that she could get in position to wrap her arms around Origa’s neck in a sleeper hold, though she knew she was in dangerous territory. If Yun failed to apply the hold, then being suspended in the air on the giant’s body wasn’t exactly the safest place to be.

Thanks to Origa’s massive size, she never needed to worry about being picked up by most of her opponents unless they were powerhouses like her. With Yun however, the amazon would have nothing to worry about in that regard. Of course that didn’t stop the girl from attempting to topple the giant all the same and to be quite honest, she made a great attempt. Origa wasn’t expecting the mass of the girl to impact with her leg and stay there, greatly messing with the amazons balance.

Eventually to both keep herself from falling over, and to remove the girl from her leg. Origa decided to simply fall to one knee so she could pry her off. While she succeeded, her actions had unintended consequences for both girls. The crowd now was more interested in the match and if this small doe was more than just prey for the amazon. It was something that the two ladies noticed immediately and something Yun did not hesitate to take advantage of.

Just as Origa was standing back up to her feet, she felt a weight suddenly hop onto her back. “Hrrk!” She choked as she felt her opponents arms wrap around her neck and begin to squeeze. The amazon immediately used her hands to pry at the sleeperhold while she began to wildly swing her body side to side, trying to fling her opponent off. Seeing something out of the corner of her eyes gave her and idea. “Not...bad. But not good either!” she grunted as she would suddenly back up and try to slam her back and her passenger into the turnbuckle behind her!

Though Soo Yun had never attempted to ride a bull before, she couldn’t help but imagine the feeling had to be similar to this. She had managed to jump and cling onto the back of the giantess and locked in her sleeper hold, but Origa was putting up a fierce resistance. Each forceful jerk of the larger woman’s frame came close to hurling Yun off of her, and it took a considerable effort to remain latched to her enemy. Her legs swung about through the air, while her arms held as tightly as they could, though she could feel her grip slipping. Yun wouldn’t be able to hold on much longer.

Then her foe shifted to a new form of defense, and Yun felt them both moving quickly while Origa moved backward. The newcomer only just realized exactly what was happening when she felt an explosion of pain against her back! “GAH!” she cried out sharply while her arms slipped off of her opponent.

She fell back against the turnbuckles, arms splayed over the ropes, and legs holding her up only so long as Origa remained there. If the giantess continued to lean against her, her weight would pin Yun upright in the corner. But if she moved, gravity would bring the Korean’s panting body slumping down into a seated position while her lungs fought to try to regain some of the air that had just been blasted out of her.

Like a monkey latching onto a tree, Soo Yun latched onto Origa and refused to let go. Origa twisted and bucked every which way, but could not get the smaller girl to loosen her grip. Instead her arms only became tighter as she squeezed more on the amazons neck, both to hold onto for dear life and to drain the air from the amazons body.

Luckily in her twisting, Origa had an idea. Turning towards one of the rings corners, Origa would charge to it. Twisting at the last second, she would end up squishing Soo between herself and the turnbuckle. The poor girl didn’t have a chance, her arms immediately released after the impact and hung uselessly over the top ropes.

Origa herself remained pressed against the girl as she regained the air she had lost. Soo’s soft body distracted the amazon slightly but soon enough she was ready to continue. And she would do so by reaching behind herself and grabbing hold of Soo’s arms, straightening out to her sides and lifting her into the air. Stepping out of the corner, Origa would use her strength to throw Soo forward in a reverse crucifix toss!
