"You don't?" Howie seemed a bit surprised to hear that. "How can you kn-kn-know about the different m-matches they do here if y-y-you don't know a-all of them?"

Janet shrugged. “I hear that they have a guys†division where they do that sort of stuff, and I could watch the matches if I wanted to, but I donâ€t,” she explained simply. “People have told me about the sort of matches they have, though. Itâ€s a whole other division, I guess—itâ€s not really related to the girls†division where we do our wrestling and hentai and stuff. Though I think girls can do matches in either one.”

Howie thought about it and said, "Good point. I guess you're n-not into th-that much vi-vio-violence huh? But I don't fight as h-hard when f-facing females. Th-there's no need to-to be a-afraid."

“Violence? Iâ€m not really against it or anything, sweetie,” Janet said. “I donâ€t know if you saw it, but Layla and I sort of beat each other into unconsciousness at the end of our fight. Now, if youâ€re talking violence like breaking bones and gouging out eyes, then yes, Iâ€m against that. But Iâ€m not afraid of getting hurt when I go into the match. The reason I donâ€t really want to fight you is because…well, like I said, I have a girlfriend. Iâ€m gay. I just donâ€t really like, uh, touching or fighting boys. You understand what I mean?”

Howie listened in and paused for a moment to think of a response. "Yeah, I get it. B-But still, whatever happened to y-you before is-is-isn't like that fr-from where I-I'm seeing it. I-I'm not for-for-forcing you to try, b-but I'm only say-saying."

Janet laid back and sighed. “Right, uh Howie. I get what youâ€re saying, and Iâ€m not going to flat-out say that Iâ€ll never fight you…but, yeah, just donâ€t expect to do any fighting with me any time soon, alright? You seem nice enough, but I just donâ€t do matches with guys. I donâ€t like touching guys. There are only a few that Iâ€m able to speak to.” She looked down, then over to Layla, then back to Howie. “So…yeah. You understand, yes?”

Howie nodded and said, "Yeah, okay. Hope you f-feel better s-soon."

Layla then said to her friend, "Howie, just give her some time. She might do one with you if she feels like it, but right now, she has other things to take care of in the league."

"Okay, Layla," replied Howie in understanding.

Janet nodded when Layla explained that she had other things to take care of. “Iâ€ll tell you my plan,” she said, smiling a little. “I want to get to the top of AFW. I want to win the Friction title. Once Iâ€ve climbed up that ladder and can say that Iâ€m the best girl in the whole league…well, maybe then I will think about expanding my horizons.” She raised a hand. “Maybe.”

Howie smiled as he heard Janet's plan. "That sounds g-great, Janet. I-I-I'll be ch-cheering you on when you're b-back to fight. Th-Though Layla told me that sh-sh-she would be the one to b-be on top."

Janet laughed and rolled her eyes, throwing another pillow teasingly at Layla. “Oh, sheâ€s just full of it. She knows that Iâ€m going to be the one whoâ€s on top once itâ€s all said and done. Thereâ€s no doubt about it!”
