Lady Lakota vs White Feather (Aftermath): Recovery

When the nurse got hit, she looked sternly at both girls and sighed as she picked up the pillows. "It's fine, just no more rough housing please. It would definitely add up to your medical bills." With that, she went out the door.

Layla looked over to Janet and said, "Now look what you did. You made her mad."

Janet giggled and shook her head. “Me? Itâ€s your fault. Just give up and admit that I can beat you at anything!”

The Lakota girl tossed another pillow, trying to nail Layla in the face.

Layla caught Janet's pillow and giggled back, "As if! I whipped your rear end for most of the match. Just be grateful I gave you a chance to bounce back."

Then the nurse came back with a smile and said, "Oh, and I almost forgot. You have some gifts waiting for you. I'll bring them in."

“Oh, I am grateful. And you should be grateful that I gave you the chance to punch back at the end there. I couldâ€ve just kept going, you know,” Janet shot back, though, deep down, she knew that White Feather probably out-fought her over the entire course of their match.

When the nurse came back in and announced that there were gifts, Janet raised an eyebrow. “What is she talking about?” she asked.

Layla thought back on their match and replied, "Yeah, I guess you're right on that. Thanks again though for a great match."

Then she also was confused when she heard that there were gifts for them both. "I have no idea," responded she when wondering what the nurse meant.

Then the nurse came back in with two cute teddy bears dressed up like Native Americans and a bouquet of beautiful flowers. "They are from a visitor coming in who knows one of you. I'm already putting in permission for entry."

Janet smiled as she saw what the mystery visitor had delivered. They were very cute. She turned to Layla and shrugged. “Itâ€s someone you know, I think,” she said. “My girlfriend would try to call me before stopping by. Do you have any idea who it is?”

"No idea," replied Layla with a shrug. "And I'm not sure if this friend of mind was an old one or the new one I mentioned." She held up her teddy bear and giggled, "Well, it was very thoughtful and cute of this person though."

“Huh. Weird,” Janet said, shrugging and hugging her teddy bear. When Layla mentioned how thoughtful the gift had been, Janet smiled and nodded. “It sure was! I suppose weâ€ll find out who it is soon enough. She said that she was putting in permission for their entry, right?”

"Right!" nodded Layla. "These teddy bears are so cute and fluffy, I guess the person didnt get them as cheap as they come. And I love tigerlilies, they interest me and give off a refreshing scent."

Then they heard a knocking before the nurse came back in. "Okay, I've put him through. And remember, I'll give at least 30 minutes to an hour for you three to get along okay?"

Layla nodded and replied, "Okay, nurse. Thank you."

Janet nodded along, agreeing with Layla and showing her understanding of what the nurse said. She supposed that this guy who was coming in to see them might very well be the same one which the other Native American girl had been talking about earlier. Lady Lakota didnâ€t know just what she thought about that. She had been avoiding guys as much as she could since joining AFW—since the league was so focused on sex, she figured that it would be hard for her to interact with males here.

Still, though, she was going to give whoever this guy was a chance to be friendly. It wasnâ€t like she couldnâ€t interact with men. Only that she preferred not to.
