Kyo Akamatsu vs Rebecca Tomoko

The drop kick worked better than expected, dropping Rebecca onto her back with a thud. Kyo knew he had to keep at it, though-- someone with Rebecca's stamina would be able to shrug off a lot more hits than most of Kyo's other opponents. Standing up and grabbing at Rebecca's foot, Kyo would lift up one of the amazon's meaty legs, step over it and turn his body around before dropping down, hopefully twisting Rebecca's leg around between his own leg and hooking it behind her ankle in a figure four leg lock. If he managed to get the hold locked, he would hold his breath, lean back, and let the pressure build.

"k..." Rebecca growled. The dark skinned amazon's chest rising up and down as she lay on the mat, trying to get a slight breather on her back before feeling her leg being grabbed.

Lifting her head up to see just was going on she could see Kyo try to spin around and twist her powerful legs into a figure 4 leg lock. Trying to counter, she raised her free leg as Kyo spun around, trying to push him off before he could get the hold locked in.

"UNNGH!" Rebecca's booted foot ploughed into Kyo's abs, causing him to double over and instantly let her leg go. Wincing, he staggered back, sucking in air through clenched teeth as he tried to recover quickly...

Rebecca forced Kyo away, buying her enough time to get up. Trying her best to beet the Samurai to his feet, although she was arguably the strongest when it came to how much she could lift and how hard she could hit, speed was definitely one aspect not on her side.

Breathing heavily, Kyo staggered back up to his feet, still clutching his hurting chest. He watched Rebecca carefully as he did so, not ready to attack her again just yet...

Getting up at the same time, the two were back to a somewhat stalemate. Both on their feet, if Rebecca charged in Kyo could possibly dodge it, although he was cradling his chest. Maybe instead of charging in to knock him down she could get in close to do something else.

Slowly trying to corner the Samurai in the corner, she reached an arm out to grab him. Trying to whip him against the ropes and back into the Amazon's clutches.

As Rebecca tried to grab for his arm, Kyo moved to counter, grabbing at Rebecca's elbow as though to counter-swing her. That might have worked on any other opponent, but Rebecca's sheer strength rendered the attempt useless. Kyo found himself flung sideways towards the ropes, rebounding off of them back towards the dark-skinned amazon.

As Kyo bounced back, he would try to duck low to avoid any clothesline attempt by Rebecca, and run past to the next rope to build up momentum...

Rebecca shot off the smaller guy into the ropes, the Samurai moving probably a lot faster than he would have liked to as he bounced off the ropes. The amazon pulled her arm back before shooting it forward to take off Kyo's head with a vicious lariat.


...If he hadn't ducked out of the way, leaving the dark skinned giant stumbling forward with her own momentum.

Feeling Rebecca's arm whistle overhead, Kyo kept running towards the ropes. Hopping up onto the middle rope, Kyo propelled himself backwards as the amazon stumbled around, rotating his body in midair to, hopefully, hit the amazon with a flying cross-body splash as she turned around. With luck, this would be enough to take Rebecca back down to the mat.

Rebecca spun around just in time to see the Samurai fly through the air, Kyo adjusting to hit the high crossbody mid-flight, catching the amazon right on the chest hard, but she didn't go down.

Instead, she wrapped her arms around the man's body, trying to hold him in place while she got her breath back. Kyo a good 5 feet off the ground.
