Kyo Akamatsu vs Rebecca Tomoko

"UGH!" Kyo grunted as a booted heel slammed down against his belly. He doubled over further, rolling over onto his side as he tried to shield his midsection. He found himself breathing through gritted teeth as he tried to push himself back up, willing himself to keep fighting.

The crowd winced as Rebecca's boot just crushed Kyo's abs to a painful grunt. Most people would have stayed down but Kyo was determined it seemed, even with all the pain.

The amazon waited for him to get up, trying to shake the pain in her arm away before charging in, looking to slam her entire body into the Samurai

Kyo staggered upright...just in time to have the full weight of a charging Rebecca slam into him. He went down as though shot, slamming into the mat with such force that his body seemed to bounce slightly.The end result left him lying on his back, groaning and unmoving. Even to someone as fit as Kyo, a body impact like that hurt immensely.

It was safe to say the amazon had taken control, plowing through the samurai like that. "Ready to fly?" She asked, bending down to try and pick him up off the ground, lifting him so he'd be resting on her shoulders, parading her foe up for a while as if she'd already won.

Numbly, Kyo was hauled up in the Amazon's thick arms. His chist and back hurt from that last body impact, and he was still smarting from it as Rebecca hauled him upwards, draping him across her shoulders like some sort of prize. From here, despite the pain, Kyo got a good sense of the strength in the amazon's burly shoulders and upper arms.

He also got a sense of how dire his situation was. Willing himself to fight, he tried to fight back, kicking his legs to hopefully loosen Rebecca's grip while throwing an elbow at her head. Given the angle of where he was, though, and the fact that his chest was still burning from that last impact, his blow might not have been as strong as he would have liked.

Rebecca was about to shift herself to lift Kyo for a military press when he started to struggle. Caught in transition she had to focus on keeping his legs still with her right arm, leaving her exposed for the sharp elbow to the temple. Stunning the amazon momentarily.

Hearing Rebecca grunt from the impact, Kyo continued to struggle. If he was lying frontally across Rebecca's shoulders, then he would try to lock his legs and arms around her shoulders and throw his weight backwards, trying to roll her back so that her legs were lifted off the mat in matchbook crucifix pin. If, however, he was lying across her on his back, then he would squirm and try to roll his way free from his larger opponent back down to the mat.

Sooner rather than later, as Rebecca struggled to hold him still, she found herself being pulled back and rolled into a crucifix pin. "What!?" She shouted as the ref counted 1. The amazon trying to put all her strength into kicking out as soon as possible, not leaving anything to chance.

Kyo's moment of glory with a sudden pin was short lived-- with equal suddenness, Rebecca kicked out, the motion flipping Kyo off of her and sending him rolling to his back. Catching his breath, he pushed himself up, trying to get up before the amazon did and deliver a drop kick to her as she got back up to her knees, wanting to put her back on the defensive after his miraculous escape from her near-hold.

Rebbeca fell back down uncomfortably after being rolled up like that, no-one had tried to do that to her since her days on the independent circuit where nearly everyone won with a roll-up of some kind. Slightly embarrassed that she lost the advantage like that, she tried to get up only to have Kyo's feet crash into her, forcing the big amazon on her back with an "UGH!"
