Clare O'Doherty vs Nanako Jounouchi

Clare was regaining some degree of her strength, she just needed to move in and really give Nanako something to think about, not knowing how bad she already was feeling. The weak clinch was some indication of her struggle for maintaining consciousness. Clare would struggle a bit with the burden of her opponents weight, she shifted to the side, trying to force Nanako's weight off. Clare decided to continue beating on Nanako's body. It could often times, be the most painful place for repeated punching. Clare was unsure what came over her, perhaps it was the excitement of having a televised match. It prompted aggression she seldom showed, she sensed that she could put the bigger fighter down again, and it was a rush. She began tossing out punches directly at the center of Nanako's stomach, having already worked over her abs, it was only natural to hit the relatively untouched region of her solid abdomen. She through a nearly uncountable amount of swift, hard, punches. They all blurred together, she wouldn't cease fire until Nanako hit the canvas again.

"Ugh! Gugh! Urk!" Nanako groaned as repeated blows slammed into her belly in rapid sucession, Her clinch seemed to do little to stop Clare's relentless assault. She may have protected her face, but that left her tall body unprotected against the smaller fighter's practiced blows. Nanako's body jolted and shuddered with each hit, her belly becoming more and more sore as time went on. Spittle flew from her mouth and her legs wobbled before giving out completely.

With a groan Nanako would collapse against Clare, leaning against her for support before her tall body slid down against Clare's small one. She dropped to her knees and wrapped her arms around Clare's waist, her half-conscious face pressed up against Clare's stomach as if begging her opponant for mercy. Nanako doubted she would recieve it though.

Clare felt her opponent cracking again, she managed to take a good deal of abuse this time. Clare, naturally realized that in her sudden adrenaline rush, she had actually really hurt Nanako. She felt a twinge of guilt, but couldn't do much about it unless Nanako gave up, and she seemed quite determined when she wasn't being assaulted. "Just stay down this time" Clare said sympathetically, it had grown quite clear that she was leagues above her opponent in technique, and although Nanako hadn't been defenseless, she seemed to have a rough time enduring the punches. Clare took a shot to the side of Nanako's head, trying to get her to break her grip and break her persistence. Clare was mostly wanting to end the pointless slaughter she was exacting, but she also still wanted to win, and didn't want to take another of Nanako's potent blows.

For the moment, Nanako had earned herself a momentary respite from the stomach punches, albeit it in a vary humiliating fashion. But the punches had stopped, that was what mattered to her. She groaned against Clare's stomach, feeling the toned muscles beneath her shirt, hugging her tightly to prevent falling. But it would seem Clare would take care of that as well, getting nailied at the side of her head with a harsh blow. "UGHH!!!" Nanako cried out, her arms falling loose from Clare before she collapsed to the mat on her side.

For the third time that night, Nanako found herself on the mat, and everytime she did she found herself in a worse state than before. Now was no exception. The faimiliar sound of the ref counting her out was also familiar. "Uggghhh..." Nanako moaned on the mat, rubbing her sore stomach in pain. Many thought she was done at this point. In fact, many were hoping for it. But amazingly, Nanako would roll over onto her front, and with shaky arms she would begin to push herself back up again. The crowd clamoured with excitement. ""Five....six...." the ref girl continued to count, but Nanako was swiftly rising.

Clare had figured it was over, she wanted it to be for Nanako's sake. She could only imagine the bruising that was probably taking place beneath her clothing. Clare took a corner and kept her eyes on Nanako. Against all logic, she was steadily pushing herself from the canvas. Clare just sighed. She wasn't going to be any less weary of Nanako's punches, but now Clare felt obligated to put her down again, to just demoralize her enough to stay down and avoid injury. Well, there was that and the fear that Clare could get hit again. Five mere hits and Clare had found herself going down. Her opponent was too strong, and that paired with obvious toughness made it hard to achieve a knockout. She just wouldn't stay down. Clare had been out of her head for a full minute from the one knockdown she took. It was definitely something to consider. Clare would stand in her corner, just waiting for the inevitable recovery of her resilient opponent.

"Seven.....eight...." At the count of eight, Nanako would finally make it to her feet. Her longest count yet, a sign that Nanako was starting wear down with the constant beating she was taking. The amazon now stood up again, her shoulders slumped, her body sheaned with sweat, and some noticeable bruising on her face from the numerous punches. No doubt there was some more purple spots underneath her swimsuit as well. Nanako was an absoloute mess. but her resolution to herself urged her to keep going.

Nanako raised her fists at the ready again. Her face was dazed, and she was panting heavily; she almost looked like she was out on her feet. It was clear nothing short of a knockout was going to keep this tall beauty down.

Slowly Naanko would move forward where she would expect to meet Clare in the center of the ring. She would mae the first move by throwing a right, then a left at Clare's face. Unfortunately, the fatigue and pain would make these blows much slower than they once were.

Clare was dumbfounded. This girl was really so determined to be beat to the point of unconsciousness? She seemed unable to stand, much less defend herself. She was out of air, probably a result of all the stomach punches. Clare had respect for her opponent, but she was still eager to get this win under her belt. Clare stepped forward, instantly seeing the punch coming, it was lumbering, slow, but her opponents reach was better, her only option to dodge it would be to get closer, which had been dangerous. Clare threw up her guard but felt the violent punch push her own gloves, hard into her own face. That one coincidence had distracted her just long enough for the other punch to hit home. Clare's head jerked roughly to the right, from the left hand she took. There was an audible pop in her neck as sweat and saliva both launched into the air. Clare was sent flying again.

Nanako was beaten up, how she still had the heart to fight back this hard was beyond Clare. Then again, everything was. Nanako hadn't landed many hits, but when she had, they felt like being hit with massive sledgehammers. Clare was sent into the corner, as she saw it a good place to recover. Bad thinking, but her head was empty until she could shake off the effects of the punch, she'd just barely opened her eyes to realize that she'd cornered herself.

Through some sheer dumb luck Nanako's tired and sloppy combo manged to halfway connect with Clare's face, her remaining power managing to send the small boxer stumbling into one the corners. It seemed even in her beaten state Nanako still had the strenth that Clare feared. Nanako didn;t expect to win this, but she could at the very least give Clare an extremley hard time.

Deciding to press this unexpected advantage, Nanako would stumble towards Clare to where she was in the corner, where she would soon become trapped. Nanako would then see fit to deliver one helluva punch into Clare's midsection, once again using her tremendous power. If that worked Nanako would next grab Clare by her shoulders and then shove her into the corner fully, where her arms would be draped over the top ropes.

Clare blinked off the dazed feeling, but before she even realized where in the ring she was, she felt the biggest shot she'd taken from Nanako. She plowed hard into her stomach. Clare let out a muted scream and slumped forward. Almost immediately, she found herself being tangled up in the corner. A single tear actually escaped her eye, the punch was devastating, she wanted to curl up, tighten her stomach to avoid feeling the trauma. It wouldn't be happening right now however. Clare was too focused on the pain, Nanako, as inexperienced as she seemed, was able to turn her fist into a cannon ball. It was clear that Clare wanted to take a knee, but her preoccupied arms prevented the movement. Her head slumped forward as she continued to grimace, defenseless for the time.

Clare would manage to recover eventually, Nanako's punches were just shocking upon impact, the sting would fade. She hoped. But a quick peek down at her exposed midriff, already revealed a red, large, welt forming. Clare was helpless for the next punches that Nanako clearly had planned.

Nanako panted in exhaustion as she layed eyes upon Clare now trapped in the corner, hung up like clothes on a line. It taken her abosrbing an inhuman amount of punishment and three knockdowns to finally get Clare right where she wanted her. Clare would have a hrd time didging her punches now that she was trapped.

WIth her fists raised, Nanako went on the attack immediately, unleashing a barrage of lefts and rights into Clare's face. She would throw them in as fast a sucession as she could, not letting up in the least, pummeling the smaller girl with her mighty blows.
