Taking out frustrations (open RP/mixed spar challenge)

Max was pulling himself up by the ropes at roughly the same rate as Makie as she made her sly comment. "Win by flirting? Wouldn't that be an announcement to hear?" he said with a grin back, "And what makes you think I can't win in Tension...there's other matches that I may be good at," he would say with a slight wink, giving an air of jest that he hoped would let on that his flirting was slightly mocking her last comment,"And besides...not all of those girls are as tough as you...are they?" He wasn't all that sure, not knowing what portion of the roster he hadn't met up with in his time on the campus.

The silver-haired man leaned himself with his back against the ropes as they both rested up when Makie asked her question. "Just cause we've battered each other and this is a spar...doesn't mean I don't want a winner.." he said with a smile. Although, he was rather unsure if he could really feel certain that he would win.

Makie couldn't help but smile in response. "Oh good," she said. "Get ready to lose then." Her back still felt sore from a few of those slams, and her forehead was still throbbing a bit, but otherwise she was ready to keep fighting. Stepping out from her corner, she eyed Max warily, raising her arms as she began to circle him. In all honesty, while she would have been willing to stop the match if Max had wanted, she was quite glad that he wanted to keep going instead.

Max smiled back as he got himself off of the ropes and began to circle Makie with his sore, weakened body. He honestly wished that the Akamatsu girl had waited a little longer before getting ready to start again. "Oh? Are we so confident that we're going to win now?" Max said a little teasingly as the two circled each other.

For a while, the two of them circled each other, each of them now aware and respectful of the other's abilities. Then, Makie suddenly siezed the initiative, rushing forward to lock up with Max. After initially tying up with him, however, Makie would duck under his arm, aiming to spin behind him and twist his arm behind his back in a wringer.

Max immediately accepted the tying up, knowing that it wouldn't last long. As soon as Makie had gone for the similar maneuver to the beginning of the match, Max would try and drop his arm in an attempt to squeeze Makie to his side. The discomfort of her going for his arm would probably make the attempt difficult, but he would try to follow up by lifting her a little to try and fall back in a odd face-first side slam.

One of Makie's lessons quickly came back to haunt her. Never repeat the same move twice. "Shit!" she gasped as Max quickly reversed the hold, snagging her in a side headlock and pressing her tightly against his abs. SHe gritted her teeth, trying to pull her head free as her hands grabbed at Max's side and elbow as she found herself trapped.

Realizing she was in a bad spot, she would try to throw a punch against Max's exposed gut in the hope of weakening his hold. If she failed to do it in time, however, then she would be slammed, face-first, into the mat, and would be left quite stunned.

Max was ready to fall backwards when he felt yet another blow to his gut. However, this time it seemed as though it didn't have the same leverage and power as any of the past punches, but it did it's job in causing Max to loosen his side-grip on Makie's head and delaying the DDT-like move.

Max had to suck up the pain if he wanted to keep from being on the mat. He was hoping that Makie was still going to be bent over when he had loosened his grip. He planned on swinging his arms around her waist while trying to position himself behind her, expecting to be able to do some sort of German suplex from behind, albeit it a hindered one.

Makie was relieved a little to feel Max's grip around her head weaken. Before she could try to pull it free, however, Max's arms instead slid downward, circling around her waist just below her chest. Makie blushed at the feeling, especially since the resulting movement simply pressed her further against her opponent, her cheek rubbing against his abs.

Knowing that she was in a very bad position, Makie knew she was too close for her punches to have any effect. Instead, she twisted her body against Max's, trying to slide an arm behind her knee and, digging her heels into the mat, try to flip him over onto his back in a rollover pin. Given how much heavier Max was, however, there was a good chance she'd fail at this and be caught hard by his German suplex.

Max's own cheeks went a little red as his grip had brought Makie's cheek to his abs. Combined with the strange positioning he had garnered by grabbing her as he had, Max was distracted and soon felt a pull at his knees. He was trying to fight enough to stay standing, but Max was top-heavy, which was working against him as he felt himself rolled into a rollover pin.

Max wasn't looking to give up though as his shoulders were on the mat. Max hoped he could use the momentum of the roll as a way to roll through into a pin of his own, but there was just as good, if not better, a chance of Makie locking in a pin from this position.

For a moment, Makie thought she had Max, as the rollover worked perfectly. Max was on his back, and she was straddling him, pulling one leg back in a pinfall position. That barely last half a second, however, before Max's body surged up underneath her, continuing the roll. Makie cried out as she suddenly found herself upside-down, the blood rushing to her head as she wound up pressed by her shoulders against the mat, her own legs folded backward by Max in a reversal of her pinfall!

Hissing a curse, she wriggled in his grip, kicking out with her legs to break the pin. Unfolding onto her back, she huffed and tried to roll over to get back up to her knees.
