World Title Semi Final: Michael Northman Vs. Zero Kotobuki

Michael smirked as he seemed to have managed to down Zero again, it was going his way once again, he smirked as she tried to moved up, he was not going to let her take his momentum down that easily again, or so he thought, as Zero suddenly wrapped her strong legs around Michael's waist, " Ungh!" Michael groaned out as he was being squeeze like never before, her legs felt like they were some kind of mechanical vice, a painful treatment indeed, " Crap, you just keep getting stronger it seems" Michael would say with a pain little grin as she placed his hands on her thighs, trying to push down on them and free himself from the hold, it was all he could do for now.

He moved his hands up and down her thighs pushing and pressing down the way he moved them, might have felt odd, almost like he was caressing them before pushing down on them, it was not his intention to do it though, Michael groaned and struggled to try and get out this hold before it took to much out of him.

With her legs now secured around Michael's waist Zero's strong thighs began to squeeze his mid-section with near-lethal power. She placed her hands on the mat and arched her back as she applied every bit of strength she had into the hold. Even as Michael began to push at her legs, a feeling that did not feel all together unpleasant, he would find he was unable to budge them. Zero was putting too much into the submission to allow it to go loose.

The goal for the stoit girl was to take as much out of Michael as possible so he might be easier to deal with later on in the match. After all how much fight could someone have left after someone tried to break them in half?

Michael was certainly feeling the great pain of Zero's mighty submission hold, feeling her legs sapping the strength out of him, and squeezing his midsection like a mechanical vice, " Ughn!!" Michael let out as he got nowhere by trying to push down on her strong thighs, but if there was anything that Michael was, it was persistent and he had a sense of ingenuity.

So he would try something new, as quick as a flash he would raise his hands above his head, and clasp them together into to double axe handle, before he would shout out, " AAH!" before trying to bring his hands down and slam them down hard against Zero's midsection, and try to free himself from her mighty hold.

With the pressure she was exerting into the bodyscissors there was a good chance that Zero would tear Michael right in half if she had her way. After all, what kind of fight could Michael put up if he had a few broken ribs. But Zero then Zero would notice Michale raising her arms above his head, thinking him about to hit her leg with that blow. She braced herself for what she thought would strike her thigh, but to her surprise, Michael's blow would slam straight into her stomach.

"UGHH!!" Zero grunted, her toned abs whethering most of the hit, but still casuing her to release the bodyscissors. Immediately she would roll to a good enough distance and spring to her feet, wincing from the pain from her stomach. She narrowed her eyes at Michael, silently agreeing that was a good tactic.

The stoit fighter would then move towards Michael, hoping that her bodyscissors had drained him enough that she could initiate a follow up attack. Reachind down Zero would grab Michael by his hair, bringing him up enough so Zero could slam her pad covered knee straight into Michael's face, hoping to further stun him with that move. If that worked Zero would next pull his head under her arm for a front facelock.

Michael was finally freed from that painful vice that was Zero's mighty body scissor, his midsection was in a burning pain that coursed through his body and his hands shot around his waist to hold himself, from fear that he was now broken, but he seemed to be fine, no permanent damage had been inflicted upon him and given a little time he could most likely shake it off, he was a strong kid after all and it wasn't like he was going to be taken down this easily, although...he was still in more pain than he had expected and with every move Zero was proving to be a fare deadlier opponent than he could have dreamed of, but that simply made his fighting spirit lit up even more and his will to defeat her became greater and greater with each passing moment of the match.

Michael remained on the ground, panting for air and trying to think of a way to fight back as he could hear Zero's footsteps as she was approaching him, making her way closer and closer to him, as she reached him and pulled him up by his hair, the brown semi-spikey hair being a bit messed up by this, still he got a sliver of a plan within his mind, something he could work with now, as he was pulled up her would shoot his body forward and attempt to wrap his arms around the beautiful girls leg.

If that succeeded then Michael would let out a shout before attempting to pull to the side and then back with his entire body, attempting to pull Zero down in a variation of a leg-drag.

Before she would send her knee flying towards Michael`s face Zero`s cold yellow eyes would narrow dangerously on her opponant, and only then would she send the knee careening towards his face. Unfortunately Michael seemed to be less hurt than she thought. Instead of her hard knee meeting the soft flesh of his face the boy would insstead stop her blow cold, cacthing it before it struck. Then the next thing Zero knew, she was violently twisted to the side by said leg, sending her crashing to the mat.

She landed there with a small grunt, wincing in pain, but more frustrated than anything else. Not that it would show on her near emotionless face. Landing on the mat Zero knew was in a bad spot, so hopefully before Michael could follow up with his attack, Zero would rear her leg back before she would blast it into Michael`s face.

Michael thought he was in a good position now, that he had successfully taken down Zero to the mat, with a pretty neat move it seemed, it was all just a way to try and get away, he didn't really want to ultimately push his advantage, this was an important match and he needed to be careful, at least that was what he thought, and if he wasn't careful then that could probably end badly, like it had did when he got caught in Zero's body scissor that nearly took all the fight out of him.

Michael was ever quick, and with Zero down, he didn't stick around for long, as he quickly pulled back and rolled away from the girl, and it seemed just in time, cause had he stayed there a second longer, his would have to have a test of Zero's strong leg as it came kicking towards the place he once was at, Michael let out a quiet sigh of relief as he dodged that one, even though he didn't even know it was coming.

The longer the fight went on the more Michael understood that Zero was dangerously good, and it was quite frightening, but he wouldn't be the Flame of Courage if he didn't want to go on and try to overcome such an impressive opponent, Michael kept moving back until he reached to ropes, where he would quickly slip out to get a moment to rest and catch his breath a little, getting caught in that body scissor had wrecked him more so than he thought, and it had drained him quite a bit.

Zero was surprised that Michael did not press his advantafe when he had it. Perhaps her bodyscissor had done more damage to him than she thought, or perhaps he was now more wary of Zero now that he knew what she could do. Either way, Michael was now backing off from her, giving her the opportunity to get back to her feet undisturbed.

Her opponant had opted to slip out of the ring all together to get himself together, something Zero just couldn't allow. She knew Michale was a tough opponant in his own right, and any rest she allowed him to have meant the longer this match would go on, with a possiblity of her not being the victor.

Determined not to let Michael get away from her, Zero would rush for the ropes he had slipped out from, and would suddenly drop down to baseball slide right under the bottom ropes to end up right where he was. Hoping to surprise him with this manuever while he wwas still recovering, Zero would immediately strike at Michael with one of her signature moves, a massive kick to the side of his head known as the Savate kick.

Michael was able to get out and get a little breathing room, which was a good thing, he rubbed his sides a little and hoped that he would be given this little time, it was precious if he would be able to kick Zero's butt and go onto the title match, which was something he wanted beyond anything else, to get to that title match and be able to have the chance to win the Tension title belt, but first he needed to beat Zero and if the next opponent was anything like her or even just as good as her, then it would be quite the task he had taken upon him.

Michael knew that Fredrik and Cecilia was out there, cheering for him to win this battle, and it was something he really needed to do, winning was all in this match, that belt was going to be his, no matter what.

During his little rest up Michael noticed Zero slip out of the ring quite quickly and as she Michael turned around to meet her and in the corner of his eye, he caught that leg coming up, it was aiming for his head, and that was not a good thing, he had to come up with something and quickly, suddenly instincts kicked in, fight or flight, it was either jump back or fight, and Michael's instincts screamed fight.

In an attempt to both dodge the kick and attack, Michael would attempt and drop down to his knees and try to move in under the kick, to then try and shoot up and wrap his arm's around Zero, where he would give her a tight squeeze before attempting one of the few power moves he knew how to pull off, as he would attempt and throw himself back and her with him, in a type of Belly to side suplex.

Zero's yellow eyes went wide when her kick missed Michael completely, her kick sailing over his head and hitting nothing but empty air. Such was the risk of her Savate kick. If it hit, the chance of a one hit knockout was pretty high. If it didn't, then she was left in a very compromising position for a counter attack. Something Michael was now taking advantage of.

Before Zero could enough attempt to move away Michael had wrapped his arms around her waist, preventing her from escaping. Her eyes widened; outside the ring was not a place you wanted to get slammed. But it was too late. With a startled gasp Zero was thrown backwards by Michael's suplex, where her back would be slammed into the unforgiving concrete. "UUUUGGHH!!" Zero cried out in pain upon impact, pain exploding in her back. Not even she would be able to get up from such a harsh throw like that right away, and lay there groaning in agony, rolling over to her side to rub her now aching back.
