World Title Semi Final: Michael Northman Vs. Zero Kotobuki

Michael orange eyes, which was one of the Northman traits, some kind of eyes that Fredrik had, looked on at Zero as she bent forward by his punch, must have taken her a bit of guard with that move, it was something an old friend at thought him once, and it had worked wonders, it was the first time he had actually used it in a match, and it had been a real life saver.

Michael smiled as he was just about to move in and attack Zero again, but as she did, she shot up and the back of her head, crashed up into Michael's chin, "unghh!" Michael let out through gritted teeth as he staggered back, holding his chin, but never taking his orange eyes off of Zero, he wondered if that was intentional, if it was then she was resourceful in her way of fighting, which just made her a cooler, and if it wasn't well it still made her cooler, just not as much cooler.

Zero's unorthodox attack seemed to have the desired effect of stopping Michael's momentum in its tracks, even if it did cause a good deal of pain to the back of her head. Nothing to what Michael was probably feeling at the moment. Now Zero could press her own attack to hopefully gain an advantage in this match.

With Michael tumbling back, Zero would press the attack on her opponant. With yellow eyes narrowed she would rush at Michael to try and lift him right off the mat from between his legs, and then slam it right back into it with a simple bodyslam attack.

Michael was hurting, his chin ached and he was a bit disoriented, he was an easy target for Zero's as she moved in and lifted him up, "Woha!" Michael yelped out, as he was lifted up and then *Bam* as he crashed down, " UGh!" the Flame of courage gasped out as he was thrown down on his back, Zero was quite the strong girl, Michael let out a groan, as he would try and raise a hand to try and throw a few punches to the back tip of Zero's head, before she could pull away.

" Crap, I should be a bit more careful of you." Michael let out as he laughed a little then winced in pain, as he would then try and get her off him and roll away, in the roll he would get up to his feet and bounce a few time on his toes, " You're a great first opponent, you know that right? if everyone here is as cool and fun to wrestle around here as you, then this place is going to be awesome!" Michael said as she would raise his fists and get ready for another little trade of blows.

After her sucessful body slam Zero watched Michael's reaction, observing him roll away and quickly get back to his feet. His recovery time was impressive. If Zero was going to make him stay down she would have to pull out all the stops and hit him with some of her more powerful techiques. She smirked a little as Michael complimented her. He sure had a lot of nice things to say for someone who was supposed to fight her. In her opinion she needed to keep his mind on the fight and nothing more. Because that's what she'd be doing.

Raising her fists at the ready again Zero would cautiosly approach Michael from the front. First she would throw a few punches. Nothing fancy, just a few jabs to test his reactions, and hopefully to distract him from her next move. After a few punches her arms would suddenly fly out to try and grab Michael's head for a headlock, using her strong arms to press his head into her side, and unintentionally into her breast.

Michael was ready to fight Zero again, maybe she wasn't the talkative type, since she didn't seem to want to talk to her, perhaps she didn't like him or maybe she was just like he had thought all business, and maybe he should be, considering that he was in the running for a chance at the title if he won this match, he needed to win, and he would truly do his best from now on, no playing around, if that was truly what Zero wanted.

" Okay, I get ya, all about the math, sure! I'm game for that, just don't get sorry when I Win!" Michael said with a smile as his face turned a bit more serious, as his orange eyes would look into her yellow eyes, as she came forth for him and throw her punches, Michael would block and dodge the punches, with relative ease.

And then She grabbed a hole of him and pulled him in and trapped him in a headlock, "Ugn" Michael let out as he then blushed when he felt something soft pressed against his face, " Wh..ehm..y-you" Michael was about to say something more about it, but he just decided to wrap his arms around her waist and then attempt and lift her up and throw himself and Zero back, trying to hit her with a type of suplex, instead of just telling her about it, he would get out of his predicament himself.

Zero didn't seem to register how close Michael's face was to her breast. She was too concerned with keeping him held fast than anything else. Unlike her talkative opponant, Zero's head was all in the fight and the chance for that title belt. Nothing was going to stand in her way for that chance. Not Michael, not anybody.

Unfortunately she had underestimated her opponant's ability for getting out of potentialy dangerous situations. WHen his arms wrapped around her waist, her eyes widened in realization and slight panic. Farr too late as she was abrutply lifted off the mat, still maintaining the headlock as some form of safety for her. "UUUUGHHH!!" Zero grunted as her neck and shoulders slammed into the mat in a makeshift German suplex, immediately causing her arm to fall loose from Michael's head. The woman groaned in a dazed pain, her legs folded up over her head for quite the embaressing position.

Michael was quick to have a smile on his face as he managed to hi her with the suplex, and heard her shout, and as she folded up Michael smirked a bit more and held her on in that position to go for a pin, he was truly serious now, no more playing around, it was all about using all his skills to try and fight Zero and win this match, all about going onwards and beat the odds and fight like he had never fought before, so he could get his hands on the title, that would be some awesome thing to do, if he could win this, then his second match in AFW would be the match he fought for the title.

The ref girl was quick to slide in and slam her hand down for a "One!" to be shouted out, Michael doubted that this would give him the win, but maybe it would prove that he was totally serious about this match.

Michael's unexpected power move had left Zero reeling, but it had hardly put her down for the count. Already the haze was lifting before the ref dropped down for the count of one. She grit her teeth, and before the ref girl could get to two Zero would respond with a powerful kickout to get free of the pin right away.

After freeing herself Zero would be quick to get back up, not wanting to find herself in the vulnerable position laying on the mat. Michael had brought a great fight so far; who knows what his mat skills were like. So Zero would just have to be the faster in this confrontation. To prove this, if she managed to get up before Michael, she would immediately jump up to deliver a dropkick, hoping to strike Michael in the chest with it right as he got back up.

Michael was quicker than most people even game him credit for, his reflexes were sharp and his body had this cool little gift called, knowing how to move, with all that Michael had done to train his body for swift and easy movements it was quite easy for him to roll away and get up to his feet before Zero, showing in a pretty neat burst of speed as well as he would run of the the ropes to the side of them, that were not to far away, and jump up onto the middle rope and bounce of it, towards Zero, as she turned in mid air and stretched his legs out, to try and drop kick her in the face.

If there was one thing Michael was good at, it was being in the air, he was great at using moves that involved him around and using his speed, which was what he was going to do now, doing what he did best, not what Fredrik had thought him, or what Cecilia had thought him, now was the time to introduce Zero to Michael high flying style.

Once again Zero's underestimating of Michael would end up costing her. She had gotten to her feet think that she was the faster, but to her shock by the time she got back up Michael was already bounding off the ropes. His speed was very impressive. Zero herself was quite fast but Michael was something else. Her yellow eyes widened as Michael bounded off the ropes and turned in mid-air, right before his feet plowed into her face.

"UUUUGHHH!!!" Zero cried out from the dropkick, getting sent back flying several feet from the impact. She collapsed to her back on the mat, clutching her face and rolling back and forth from the pain, open to Michael's follow up attack.
