World Title Semi Final: Tina Armstrong vs Heather Sunderland

"N-no! Why don't you just..let go!" Heather would respond, trying to push herself out of Tina's grasp as she struggled. She was trying not to get caught this quick, but it seems like it's already happened as she did what she could to attempt to escape from the girl's grasp. However, through her struggles she would feel herself suddenly be getting lifted up.

"H-huh?!" Heather would let out as she would flail her arms around a bit before she would suddenly feel her legs being spun before she would find herself crashing down into the mat, her back hitting hard. "Gh..damnit!" Heather would let out as she would rub her back, quickly trying to get back to her feet.

"Ha-" Tina breathed as Heather struggled to her feet. Finally getting time to sooth her head after the enziguri rocked her, but from what she'd seen: giving Heather any kind of space was a trip down concussion alley as such she tried to grasp her in a side headlock while she was still getting up

Heather would shake her head as she quickly tried to get to her feet. She needed to prevent Tina from getting time to recover and think of her next move. However just as she was thinking that, she would suddenly feel Tina's arms wrap around her head, placing her in a side headlock. "Wh-what?? Damn!" Heather would let out as she gritted her teeth as she was caught in the hold.

Still, she would fight to keep getting to her feet, trying to cope with the pressure that she was feeling around her head. Pushing as much as she could, if Heather would be able to get up to her feet in the hold, she would quickly attempt to wrap her arms around Tina and run towards the corner, trying to ram the girl into it.

Tina was torn, she hadn't got the best of positions on the headlock and was now fighting between keeping the pressure on or keeping her balance and was forced back while deciding. The superstar releasing her hold as her back bumped painfully against the barely covered steel. "Gah..." she grunted.

As Heather successfully rammed Tina into the corner, she would take a breath of relief when the hold was broken. Without really knowing much about her opponent, she just knew she couldn't stay immobilized in the match for a long time or it would cost her. Quickly, Heather would attempt to push Tina up against the corner to try and keep her upright.

"Stay still.." Heather would say in an almost demanding tone as she would back up. Getting a good distance, Heather would then quickly charge at the girl, attempting to leap in the air and hit her with a corner dropkick to her chest.

"Tch-" Tina hissed as she was forced into the corner but had no intention of staying there. When Heather backed off, she grabbed the top rope and pulled herself to the side when her fast opponent charged in.

As Heather charged in towards Tina, she would see at the last second the girl using the ropes to pull herself away. Heather's eyes widened at she tried to stop herself, but it was no use, she was already in the air. Heading towards the corner, she tried as hard as she could to readjust herself to make the landing less painful. Holding her breath, she would feel her back collide with the turnbuckle, her arms hugging her head as so it wouldn't bump into the ground.

"Gagh!" Heather would let out as she hit, landing upside down with her upper back on the mat and her lower body up against the corner. She would bring her hands down to her back, rubbing it to soothe the pain as she would curse herself for making that mistake and taking that hard bump.

Tina winced as Heather landed so awkwardly. She knew what it felt like to miss a move like that and didn't want to get a refresher as she held onto the top rope for support.

Moving back to the fallen girl, she tried to pull her away from the corner and quickly hook the leg, forcing Heather to lose energy kicking out just to stay in the match.

Heather would let out a groan as her body lay up against the corner. It was a bump that she could have easily avoided and was costing her quite a bit as she would feel herself being pulled away from the corner by Tina. It took her a bit to get her bearings on what was going on before she would feel her leg being hooked by the girl.

"1..2.." Letting the count get to as long as it could so she could take as much time as possible to rest, Heather would kick out before the three, forcing the air out of her lungs slightly as she had to push to kick out. "Ugh.." Heather would let out as she would again try to roll away and get up onto her feet.

that was closer than I expected Tina thought as Heather forced her off, making the superstar get back to her feet. That missed dropkick either did more damage to her than she thought or Heather was just buying herself a precious bit of recovery time. A huge difference in what Tina was dealing with as she tried to force a collar and elbow tie up when Heather rose.
