Makie Akamatsu vs Midori Himeno

Makie was breathing heavily as she slowly pushed herself up to her knees. Her back numbed by a single massive, dull ache after repeated slams and stomps from Midori, and it hurt her to move. Right now, she would have loved to take a break and recuperate, but against Midori, that wasn't going to happen. Besides which, she knew that Toshio and Kyo were watching this match, and she wasn't about to lose in front of them.

Slowly and shakily, she staggered up to her feet, eying Midori warily. "What'cha waiting for?" she taunted, trying (and failing) to keep the pain out of her voice as she swayed slightly on her feet. "Afraid I'll twist the other arm? Come on, and I'll do it." She remained ready to move, her mind racing with ideas as she tried to think of a way to fight Midori without resorting to a frontal confrontation-- something that she was sure to lose.

"You've got guts kid. I like that. If we had trained at the same gym we would have probably been as sisters."

Then Midori started to move on her as she thought to herself.

But for now you are simply another enemy I must defeat. If you are going to be a wrestler in this business long girl it is time you felt some pain and knew what you were in for.

Midori closed in planning to lock up with her and if she did, she would reach down for Makie's thigh with both hands and lift ehr up to ehr side before trying to drop her on her back for a sidewalk slam.

As much as Makie's instincts demanded that she lock up with this girl, she knew how utterly stupid that would be. Instead, as Midori closed the distance between them, Makie rushed low, trying to scissor her legs around Midori's ankles to trip her down onto her front. Her movements were slowed somewhat by her sore back, but she was hoping that her movements would be sudden enough to avoid any counter of Midori's.

Midori wuld stumble and hang herself up on the middle ropes almost like a Rey Mysterio victim might prior to a 619.

Breathing heavily now, Makie stumbled back to her feet, seeing a golden opportunty. This wasn't what she had been planning, she thought to herself, but she would take it anyway. Running after Midori, she would leap up, hoping to ram a knee into Midori's upper back and drive her throat against the ropes.

Midori would extricate herself and move out of the way in time.

As Midori rolled out of the way, Makie went flying past her-- right into the ropes. She couldn't stop before she crashed into the ropes, her outstreched knee bouncing and sending her crashing down onto her back next to Midori. Makie winced, both from the impact on her already sore back and from the irritation of having failed such a potentially good move.

Slowly, Makie rolled to the side, sliding under the ropes to her feet outside the ring, leaning against the edge of the ring to catch her breath.

Midori was not going to give this girl the chance to escape from the ring. The moment she was down on the ground at her feet Midori would go to try and lift Makie by the throat with both hands and then go for a double chokeslam/sit out powerbomb.

Makie gagged as Midori's hand clamped around her throat. She did not even have the energy to kick out as Midori lifted her up off her feet, raising her in both handa like a trophy. Then, with a sudden rush of blood to the head, Makie was slammed down hard onto her back, the movement causing her legs to drape unceremoniously over Midori's shoulders as she lay unmoving on the mat.

Midori then goes to pull herself up a bit and scoop up one of Makie's supposedly lifeless legs to go for a pinfall. In a way she wanted to see if makie was actually weak enough to succumb to a pinfall now. For her part she would be disappointed if she had not even been forced to use her finisher.
