Makie Akamatsu vs Midori Himeno

A hiss of pain escaped Makie's clenched teeth as her legs and arm were bent painfully. As the ref began to reset his count, Makie dug her elbow into the mat, pitching them both onto their sides...growling, Makie suddenly moved her head back sharply, aiming do a reverse headbutt against Midori's face. If this cause Midori's grip to slacken at all, then she'd try to throw a punch back at her face as a follow-up.

The punches did the work and Midori eventually let Makie go.

Relieved to finally be let go, Makie pushed herself to her feet. "Looks like I wasn't the only girl in high school who wasn't a cheerleader," she said with a smile, before spinning to send a kick into Midori's chest. If Midori was still on the mat, however, then this would be a stomp as opposed to a kick.

Midori had gotten up to her feet. She would actualy catch Makie's kick but instead of countering right away she got cocky enough to actually respond to Makie's statement. She would casually hold Makie's kicking foot up by the heel in one hand while gesturing with her other hand as she spoke.

"Hey. Does this look like the body of a cheerleader? I am probably 40 lbs too heavy."

Makie's eyes widened as Midori caught her foot. She tried to remain nonchalant, though, as she continued to banter.

"Heh. I bet you had lots of offers for prom dates."

And with that, she would spin again, trying to use her free leg to hammer a kick into Midori's face.

Midori nailed across the face and would actually spin and go down on her hands and knees. If Makie gave her time to recover she would grin and rub her jaw before trying to get up and turn.

Makie, however, had no intention of letting Midori recover. She would take a running jump, aiming to slam and elbow against the back of Midori's head and slam her face against the mat.

Midori took the elbow and rolled over on her back.

Holding her breath, Makie spin and dropped down across Midori, her chest pressing against the other girl's as she covered her for the pin.

Midori seemed to have a lot of endurance for the ref had barely counted one when Midori would suddenly go for a quick and mighty bridge to try and propel Makie off her and then get back to her feet.
