Makie Akamatsu vs Nanako Junouichi

The crowd was waiting anxiously as the arena was prepared for the next match. It had been said that the upcoming battle would feature a newcomer to Friction who, it was rumoured, had a lousy sense of direction up until now. Since Miss Sellars always liked to put the new blood to the test first, her opponent would be another of Friction's newer competitors, although this girl was apparently a little more established in the league. Either way, the prospect of two eager young fighters battling it out left the crowd quite excited.

They didn't have to wait long: as her entrance music blared in the background, Makie Akamatsu stepped confidently to the ring, raising her fist in a one-armed pump as pyrotechnics blazed behind her. The crowd cheered the youngest of the Akamatsu siblings as she made her way down the ramp, as eager for the upcoming battle as her fans. She wore her usual sports bra and thigh-length bottoms, as well as matching pads and boots, though this time she was dressed in black instead of white. Despite this change in colour, Makie was still her usual energetic, tomboyish self as she made her way to the ring.

Sliding onto the ropes, Makie hopped up onto the corner post and raised a fist in a gesture to the crowd. As they cheered, Makie focused on the other ramp as she waited for her opponent to show up.

I wonder who this new girl will be? she thought. Chances are it'll be another bitchy heel like Makoto. I'll have to be on my guard if she is. She resolved, though, to try to enjoy this match if the new girl wasn't too much of a heel. She remembered when she had been new to the AFW, and how nervous she had been: it was only by sheer luck that her first opponent had been someone as generous as Midori. Even if she couldn't help out this new girl in the same way, she at least hoped to help make her introduction to AFW encouraging, whether she won or lost.

"T-This is the Friction arena, right?" Nanako asked the AFW emplyee for the third time since arriving here, and the man gave her the same answer he did the first two times. Yes, it was the Friction arena. And Nanako Jounouchi, after a week of poor directions and painful expereinces, was fianlly going to make her Friction debut. "Okay....j-just making sure," she whispered.

Dressed in her wrestling outfit that was a simple white one-piece swimsuit complete with elbow and knee pads, Nanako was making ready to make her entrance to what she was sure was the Friction arena. This was not exactly her first match in the AFW. She had been brutalized in Tension, been knocked the fuck out in the Boxing league; Nanako didn't want to think of where she would have ended up next had she missed the Friction building again. But now she was here. Her real goal for joining the AFW. She hoped her friends were watching. While it had been a rocky start for her she would show them what she could really do now.

Nanako's heart was beating in her chest as she awaited her music to come on, and when it did she took a deep breath before she stepped outside. The crowd cheered loudly as soon as she stepped into view, all of them going nuts for the 6'3 bombshell that appeared at the top of the ramp. She was a virtual amazon at her height, something the crowd marvelled at, and everyone could see her body was toned with a good deal of msucle. And she was cute to boot. Waving shyly Nanako would make her to the ring with a slow walk, giving a few waves here and there until she would arrive at the ring, Climbing inside it, Nanako would head to her corner, and unlike her previous 'matches' this time she was extremely excited. Becuase she would not be fighting any brutish men or little girls that hit way too hard. She would be facing another woman in a good old fashioned wrestling match.

"Hi there! Nice to meet you!" Nanako would call to Makie from across the ring. She was so excited to start she could hardly wait!

Makie was staring in slight surprise at her opponent as she stepped down from the turnbuckle. Nanako was...well...tall,, for lack of a better word. She easily had several feet over her, and had more in the way of solid muscle on her body as well. She wasn't as hard-bodied as Midori, though, and was definitely bustier to boot. Either way, from a sheer physical comparison, Nanako wouldn't be an easy opponent-- Makie's lean body was well-exercised and fit, but she was still at a serious disadvantage when it came to size and weight.

On the other hand, if Nanako was a rookie, then she looked the part-- she didn't carry herself with the same outward confidence as Makie's other opponents. Makie raised an eye in surprise as the other girl approached her with a handshake. She's awfully cheery towards someone who will be trying to beat the crap out of her in a few seconds, Makie thought to herself.

Warily, she accepted Nanako's handshake. "Uh...hi...nice meeting you as well," Makie thought, noting that Nanako wasn't playing a dirty trick with the handshake as Makoto had. "Welcome to, um...AFW, and...may the best woman win?" She wasn't that good at being friendly in her pre-match banter-- give her trash talk any day, but outward friendliness and politeness like Nanako was offering was something Makie was unused to. Being well-mannered to opponents was more Kyo's thing than hers.

Nanako would smile cheerfully t Makie as she accepted the handshake, and would give her soon to be opponant a firm squeeze. Makie would probably notice though that Nanako had a hell of a handshake, her grip something like a vice. For being so sweet and cheerful, Nanako had a hell of a lot of natural power that she didn't know the limits of. None the less, she would shake Makie's hand in a friendly gesture before heading to her corner. The amazon was glad that she had met a friendly opponant since her run of bad luck. It would be fresh change of pace from the monsters she had met so far.

The bell would soon ring, and that was the signal for Nanako to step out from her corner, a big grin on her face. She was happy cause this was her beginning in Friction. Her long road to the top. It started here with Makie as her opponant. Nanako would raise her arms at the ready in a grappling stance, ready to get her career started.

As they shook hands, Makie's eyes widened involuntarily, and she suppressed the urge to wince. It wasn't until the two of them backed away from each other that Makie clutched her hand. Holy hell, just how strong IS she?

For a moment, she began to think that she was in way over her head. She calmed down, however, when she remembered what Midori had taught her about fighting larger opponents. She would have to use her speed to her advantage and strike hard and fast, to deny Nanako her natural advantages. Hit her hard, keep her stunned, don't let up, she thought to herself. Wear her down and eventually finish her off with a stunner or sleeper. Keep calm, Makie, you can beat her.

Turning around to face Nanako in her corner, Makie's heart pumped as the bell ring. She exploded into movement like a shot, running fast across the ring at Nanako, keeping her arms raised to keep her thinking that she was going for some sort of clothesline or punch. Then, at the last minute, Makie would leap forwards in a flying kick, aiming to nail Nanako in the face or chest with both booted heels.

After the bell rang Nanako would emerge from her corner at the ready, arms raised and an eager smile on her face. She didn't know what kind of wrestler Makie was but she was excited to find out. This was her first opponant in Friction after all.

Makie wouldn't dissapoint when she would suddenly come rushing out of her corner with impressive speed. Nanako's eyes widened in alarm, but soon smiled with excitement. She tried to anticapte what Makie was doing, looking like it was a clothesline or something similiar, and was surprised when her opponant suddenly leapt into the air, deliver a strong dropkick to Nanako's chest.

"UGH!!" the amazon groaned as both feet planted themselves on her. The impact sent her stumbling back two steps, but other than that seemed unphased by the attack, much to everyone's amazement. "Owww....why are you wearing heels?" nanako whined, clutching at the spot those heels dug into her.

Makie dropped onto her back with practiced ease, and rolled up to her feet...and looked up, astonished, to see that Nanako was still standing! The girl had been forced back a few steps, true, and was clutching her chest, but otherwise she didn't look seriously hurt. What the hell, seriously?

"Quit whining, you're acting like I'm wearing high heels," she growled back, before springing forwards and rushing at Nanako again. This time, however, she would drop low at the last minute, aiming to duck under Nanako's arms and run to the opposite ropes. If she made it, then she aimed to use her momentum to jump up to the second rope, spring off, and launch a drop kick at Nanako's face. Maybe a kick with some leverage added to it would be more effective...

Nanako may not have fallen down but those heels on Makie's boots would probably leave marks on her chest anyway. Makie had been very quick and agile for her to deliver tht kind of dropkick. Someone like that was a hard opponant for Nanako to face. After all, how could she defeat Makie if she could not get her hands on her. "WHy wear heels at all?" Nanko muttered loud enough for Makie to hear.

Once again Makie was coming at Nanako, and the amazon tried to catch her in time but to her surprise her opponant would duck under her arms and get behind her. "Uh oh," Nanako gulped, and would turn around just in time to see Makie flying off the ropes. Nanako would then try to throw up her arms in time to block the brunt of the blow, but it would rock the amazon anyway. "UGHH!!" Nanako grunted, stumbling back a few more steps, but still managed to stay on her feet.

Makie swore under her breath as she landed on her butt. So far, her attacks were doing very little to harm Nanako: although she had easily forced the bigger girl on the defensive, she had done nothing so far but force her backwards a little. She had to step things up a bit if she was going to have a chance of winning this match.

Spinning back to her feet, Makie didn't wait for Nanako to recover. Once again, she charged at her opponent, dropping down at the last minute to scissor her legs around Nanako's heel, forcing to trip the amazon down onto her front and leave her vulnerable.

"Ow, that kinda hurt," Nanako groaned, oblivious to Makie's frustrations. She was just glad that those pointy boots of her's didn't collide with her face. That would have really hurt. Still, Nanako knew she'd have to get out of the defensive eventually, or else she'd never get headway in this fight.

Unfortunately Makie would be one step ahead of the amazon, and Nanako would feel the smaller girl's legs latch around her ankles. "WAAAAHHH!!" Nanako would cry out in alarm, and would fall like a big tree to the mat, landing with a large crash, and would be slightly stunned from the fall.
