Avalanche 2023: Iris Takahashi (C) vs Giovanni Zeppeli: Nekketsu Title Match

Gyro was made to get sent outside there from Iris's offence there, still the cowboy was already trying to make an effort and seeking to get back into it thanks to his tough, gritty nature underneath that suave exterior of his. However the Nekketu champ was going to strike while the iron was hot and the next thing Gyro knew he was being slammed by her straight into the guard railing!

No one could really expect a 6ft tall woman leaping on you like that, now granted some might be envious of Gyro getting that but when she was leaping right at you full pelt and smacking you into some steel rails well......it hurt like a bitch. The Italian Stallion would give a loud grunt of pain there as he was left reeling on it there with a hand clutching his side there.

Okay Iris was starting to really grind the gears of the Italian Stallion there, he was left reeling after her crashing hello there and the Nekketsu Champ was going to try and take advantage clearly. The next thing Gyro knew he was being grappled and made to be sent towards one of the steel corner posts! Gyro knew this was dangerous and his instincts had kicked in.

Gritting his teeth Gyro would leap upwards there, making to climb onto the apron close to the iron post like a horse leaping the barricade. Or rather a tennis ball over the net. Gyro would then attempt to scramble up the top of the iron post and then try to backflip off it to nail Iris with a sudden and explosive moonsault!

Well Iris never saw that move coming, quite frankly neither did the crowd! Gyro was known however back in the Texan indies for being able to launch himself off anything on or near the ring and fly like a steel ball being thrown right at you. The Italian Stallion would crash right into the Nekketsu Champ there with a thud near the guard rail earning loud hollers from the crowd as they saw Gyro pull that off!

After landing the move Gyro would get into a kneeling position and do a tipping of the hat gesture to those in attendance, before hearing the ref getting close to the ten count. Gyro knew if it was a countout then he'd lose any chance of nabbing that gold outta the hands of Iris there, so he'd seek to grab her by the hair and seek to drag her into the ring with him and attempt a pin!

Gyro was feeling pretty damn sore at this point, the hard hitting, back and forth exchanges with him and the Nekketsu Champ made him feel more tired than the last time he did a midnight 8 hour long pizza delivery shift. However he was hoping to maybe pull a highway robbery there against Iris and snatch the title belt away from her while she was stunned and reeling from his attack there........

Only for her to kick out there! Gyro's eyes widened a bit there from the surprise factor there, then the Italian Stallion would give a rare snarl for someone of his nature. Alright, if that didn't do it then it was time to try and put Iris away with something special. It was something that Gyro had been meaning to teach someone in the ring. Lesson 5. Yeah, the next is lesson 5.......

Gyro would seek to drag Iris upwards there into a standing position, before making to bounce off the ropes and sprint towards the Nekketsu Champ. Before busting out into a series of cartwheels and launch a spinning butterfly kick aimed at Iris's head. It was time for Lesson 5!

Gyro knew if this blow would connect that it'd surely put Iris out of commission and he could get hold of that flashy Nekketsu belt there, probably get himself some nice gals and get time off work there because he was gonna be busy defending that there title belt! Only it turned out that Iris might have been caught off guard there, but she was still a fast gunslinger in her own right. Because in one fluid motion, a sudden turn of events there led to her managing to not only dodge the kick but manage to roll with the Italian Stallion into a small package pin attempt.

The next Gyro knew it was one, two and three! The bell rang there and Gyro was gobsmacked by what just occurred, damn......Iris's theme would play and the announcer would go "Ladies and gentlemen your winner. And still the Nekketsu Champion! Iris Takahashi!"

Gyro would lay there still and unmoving, a glazed over expression on his face there. Damn. He messed up there big time, the pain he endured in the match suddenly washed away there. He sighed heavily and muttered "Sorry Johnny. I'll get the tennis ball over the net next time." before moving to get up as best he could and move to grab his cowboy hat. He didn't really regard Iris there, content to just let her have her moment for winning as he got off towards the sunset that was the entrance ramp.
