The Maiden vs The Storm: Penny vs Alizeh

"Phew... deep breath girl." Alizeh said to herself softly backstage as she prepared herself for her next match. It wasn't a particularly massive opportunity like her last few matches, and while that was certainly disheartening it wasn't getting Alizeh down. In fact she was actually kinda relieved it was something with a bit less stakes. Plus despite being a relative newcomer to AFW herself being chose to be a debut opponent for someone was both surprising, and a little encouraging since in Alizeh's opinion it showed management had some faith in her to put on a good show regardless of how good her opponent was. Speaking of... it was time to get this going as her music started playing.

Coming out as the chorus of guitars began to play Alizeh would strike a pose for the crowd as they cheered in turn, whooping and hollering for the Emerald Storm who was quickly making a name for herself within the company. Jaunting down the ramp Alizeh decided to sport something different with a black and purple based ring gear which thankfully made for a nice clash compared to what her opponent decided to wear. Hopping onto the ring apron and turning to the crowd Alizeh would smile out at them and pose once more before leaping over the ropes and into the ring to face off with her red headed foe. "Nice color choice you went with hehe, I'm Alizeh, nice to meetcha!" Alizeh said amicably as she held her hand out with a smile on her face to try and start the match off with some good sportsmanship.

Penny waited while Alizeh was doing her entrance, sitting in the lower turnbuckle and hanging of both rope sides while focusing the eyes on her, the Maiden seemed ready to face her and she was just standing there patiently until she went inside the ring and finished her entrance.

After that, Penny gets up while Alizeh took out her hand and walks towards her to do the same thing, with a smile as well." "Thanks, i like your outfit and the palette as well." Penny replied before ending with the handshake.

"DING DING!"

After the bell rang, Penny starts walking in circles around her opponent, getting into a stance as raising both arms and approaching slowly at Alizeh to begin with a collar elbow tie up.

Alizeh smiled and nodded at Penny as she heard the woman's words, definitely glad to be starting this match off on the right foot as opposed to beef like some of her past matches. "Haha thanks now lets get to it!" Alizeh said in a ready tone as she pulled her hand back just in time for the bell to ring.

Immediately she stepped toward Penny with the other woman doing the same, both their hands coming around in sync as they locked up with a classic collar elbow tie up, pushing and shoving against Penny for a moment before Alizeh decided to switch things up. Pivoting on her foot quickly Alizeh would drop the red head's hands and bring her arms around to try and catch Penny in a side headlock!

Grappling with Penny early on was about as classic as one could get, and the escape Penny used was classic as well. Backing up to the ropes before pushing Alizeh forward to the opposing ropes to get free! Barely phased by this Alizeh would make use of the momentum, bouncing off the ropes and coming at Penny, trying to use this speed to her advantage by leaping up at Penny to try and hit a drop kick on the maiden!

Despite getting Irish whipped by Penny it was far from enough to overwhelm Alizeh, quite the contrary in fact since Alizeh managed to take that momentum and turn it to her own advantage as landed a drop kick on Penny! Landing on her back as a result Alizeh would quickly throw her legs up, kipping back to her feet with a smirk seeing Penny laid up on the ropes and quickly took off in a run towards Penny, looking to drop down as she approached while turning to the side, trying to hook her feet around Penny's legs while twisting sharply as she fell, trying to send Penny crashing to the mat with a drop toe hold!

Managing to take advantage of her momentum Alizeh would catch Penny, tripping the girl and taking her down to the mat with a successful drop toe hold! Pushing up from her side and getting up to her feet immediately after Alizeh would prop herself up to her feet, looking over just in time to see Penny coming right back at her! 'Shit she recovered fast!' Alizeh thought as the red head's legs wrapped around her head and taking her off her feet! "Ngh!" Alizeh grunted out in pain, bouncing off the mat with a grunt before trying to roll with the momentum to get back on her feet.
