Cyber Saturday 2023 - Shinobu vs. Alizeh

Match type: 2 Out Of 3 Falls
Victory conditions: Pinfall, Submission, or Knockout.
Special conditions: The winner is the first competitor to achieve two victory conditions over the opponent.

Shinobu flipped through her catalogue, the clothes she had planned to release on full display, each giving a detailed description of the process and inspiration behind it. Her brand had done well since taking over the Capeheart company. It wasn’t until she heard a knock to her large office tagt her cold gaze lifted off the protype catalogue. As the pages shipped to close shut, she’d neatly set the magazine down, ready to open again once this affair was done with. ”Come in.” she states. The door quietly opens, stepping in, it was her Assitant, new Assitant that is. She fired the last one about four months ago, trying to spike her coffee with salt. In true Shinobu fashion, when she cornered them she had sure to leave her mark. The staff say the poor thing left in a hurry after that and hasn’t been seen in the city since. The timid Assitant shuts the door behind her, a small stack of binders in hand as she quickly crosses the office to explain.she was quiet herself as she crossed the room, hoping with every fiber in her being that she hadn’t angered her boss.

“Ma-madam president, I’m sorry to bother you while you check over the catalogue but… I have a few things for you.” Shinobu kind of liked this her new lap dog. They were timid and always afraid when they stepped into her office, the type that has something to say but to fearful of the consequences to say them, pure bliss~. They first hand off the binder with numbers for this years quarter. Shinobu doesn’t respond but she takes it, opening it carefully and quietly observing the sales. Her eyes narrow as she flips through the contents setting it down. ”Check the numbers again. Page seven’s sales don’t match up with our previous quarters. I want to know why. Give me the next one.” she demands with her hand reaching out. The next binder comes into contact with their hand. Again she opens ot carefully and inside are new designs for next quarters run-way. She eyes them carefully, flipping through pages more slowly as she follows details on each individual design. Her eyes narrow in the same manner as before with the previous binder.

With the second still open she flips back to the beginning and with a pen begins to write. ”I want page: one, four, six, seven, ten, thirteen, and twenty-one to go ahead with the mock ups. I want to see every one of these pieces on display in my office in two weeks. That should give the rest of these Neanderthals time to come up with something else before the quarters up. Tell them if they can’t, then the Capeheart company will no longer be interested in their services.” It was one thing to have a couple bad designs but to have so many? To say she was now in a bad mood would be an understatement. Her Assitant could immediatly tell and frantically handed her the last binder out of fear she’d be next. She quickly grabs hold of the stack off to the side and I swiftly returns to her place to take the last binder when she was done.

”Th-this is from AFW, ma’am. They’ve “requested” your precense for a match. Something for… for Cyber Saturday? It’s one of their bigger events.” She explains as Shinobu opens it to find the details inside. It’s contents contained the match they would be having and some information about the event. She smirks at the idea of the audience participation giving her an idea for next quarter. As she flips to the next page and there, hung by a paper clip, was her opponent. That smile on her face ticked her off for some reason but she could be professional about this. She closes it and hands it off to the cowering Assitant with not a sliver of emotion but her Assitant swears she thought she saw them smile for only a second. ”It will definitely benefit us in the long run. Wrestling in our own merchandise is sure to show the world how durable and stylish our product is. Win or lose, we can definitely expect a significant  increase with profits from the exposure.” Shinobu sighed, she had been wanting this for a good while now. A chance to let loose, to unwind. ”Clear my schedule for the rest of the day. I’m heading home to get ready. Since I’m going, you can send the staff home early, have them enjoy some time with their friends or family; whatever they do outside of work. Be there by seven pm sharp with our photography team. ” She declares. It’s not the she particularly want to shut down everything, however, from experience she knows without her here, the staff would cave in on themselves, not something she wants to spend effort or time into fixing. Her poor lapdog nods, heading for the door, stuck doing overtime with the boss…again.

With her tights hugging her form, the dark latex infused with blue splashes seemed to pull out her own colors. It was only natural that it looked good with herself in it. She worked hard to keep a favorable figure and her demand for quality over quantity made the work the capeheart produced some of the best in the world. A light pat of blush only to be accompanied by a white fur shawl scarf. It nestled over her shoulders and kindly wraps up her forearm. Shinobu was ready, her mindset tonight was still the same, despite that she felt an overwhelming sense of joy, the chance to beat out the stress was such a welcome change. Just as she was finishing up, her Assitant steps in behind her, holding onto an electronic pad. ”Madam president, they’re ready for you.” she stated. Turning on her heel, she met the timid girl, taking the pad away and observing it closely. It appeared to be a live feed of the ring. She hands it back, heading to the door past her lapdog, Shinobu’s soft hand presses against their grey pantsuit back. ”Do make sure the photographers only give me the best shots. Anyone who shows up tomorrow with anything less then twenty excellent shots are fired, understand?” She asks, her hands rising up along their spine, running across their shoulder then down their collarbone, only for her chin to be lifted up with her gudining hand. She nervously nods that she understands as a deep scarlet paints their face  while the president would pass them and push open the steel door, they begin to frantically type on their pad after fixing their misaligned glasses.

Her heels click against the smooth concrete as she makes her way down, passing event staff. She can already hear the crowd roaring, nothin she hadn’t heard before if she’s quite honest and rather annoyed with but this was the price to pay to get a little enjoyment in life. As the announcer called her down, her theme would begin to play over the speakers  the haunting organ shushes the crowd as the lights dim. Smoke began to stream from the entrance as the lights reflect blue off the clouds of smoke. Suddenly the lights flash as she steps out, illuminating the Capeheart president. Cameras flash, as she shifts her hip, her left hand rest on her cocked hip while her right settles on her outstretched right leg. Just before the next round of flashes begin. She turns on her heel pulling the fur shawl scarf upward to cover her plush lips as if she was hiding her beauty from the world.

With the organ picking up and vocals beginning to follow, she’d make her way down the ramp. The crowd continuing to cheer, the excitement of the event must really have the lot of them bursting with energy.

The squared arena seemed to only get bigger the further down she went, it seemed to be the perfect place to show off her new line. She’d turn to make her way towards the steps, Shinobu has class enough to not climb the apron like some kind of animal. Instead her heels clack as they meet steel. Ascending up to enter, she makes her way up to walk along the apron before bending ever so slightly to slip between the ropes. With her steps guiding her center ring, the fashion president would slowly remove her scarf. The white fur running down her pale shoulder, she turns to face the pull as of to kiss a lover she may never see again. The cameras flash again as the shawl scarf goes flying, flying towards the crowd only to be nabbed by her vigilant, cowardly Assitant.

Turning to the entrance she clenched her fists, tensing her muscles in anticipation for what would come next. Shinobu Hanae was far to ready.

Alizeh would sigh softly to herself as she stood backstage. It was her second pay per view in AFW, and her first match since her loss to her godmother at the last one she competed in. The company having a hard time finding something for her despite how she performed in the mat. Frustrating for sure, but Alizeh wasn't one to sit idly by and stew. Instead she had been using the time off to train and get reps in at independents shows, grinding as hard as she could to prove who she was the next time she had the chance. Now.. here it was.

Though Alizeh wished she could say she knew more about her opponent prior to the match. All she really knew was that was some big time fashionista. One who apparently was the boss of some design company. 'Wonder if they make wrestling gear?' Alizeh thought to herself, not that she was in the market, although that being said, she was wearing something a bit.. special for her grandiose return to AFW. Looking up as the music of her opponent stopped Alizeh would smile softly before placing something over her mouth, hiding her smirk before turning and walking towards the entrance ramp, right as the crackle of lightning and thunder sounded before entrance music kicked in full.

As she did so, the lights would strobe a mix of pink and green and some smoke would rise up from the center, then through the smoke would come Alizeh, standing proud, wearing a pink and black, scattered petal patterned kimono, a pink half face mask adorning her face, the only pieces of her ring gear being visible being the pink boots meant to invoke tabi style socks and sandals along with the leopard patterns on her gloves and knee pads. Standing to the side with her head tilted back arm to the side and the other down at a angle Alizeh immediately got a lot of cheers for the mysterious yet alluring gear and entrance.

Spoiler:

Strutting her way down the ramp whilst looking cool and composed Alizeh would abstain from playing to the audience outside of a few nods and looks of acknowledgement. Any other night she would have played to them, high fived em, all sorts of stuff. But she had to show out tonight, as a result she was all about showing her focus, commitment, the sheer will that she brought to this ring. All of it being directed on the woman standing in the ring that Alizeh hadn't took her eyes off since she started walking.

Making it to the ring Alizeh would turn, posing for the crowd with her arm in the air before vaulting over the ropes and into the ring where she would reach behind her and undo the obi holding her kimono together, sliding it off before tossing it over the ropes and then... slowly reaching up to her mask, pulling it off before tossing it to the side so that Alizeh was left looking at Shinobu eye to eye, her pink, ninja inspired leotard on full display all but multiplying the cheers and wolf whistles she was already getting.

With her opponents theme beginning to pick up over the speakers, the rather soothing blues and whites transformed to green and pink in an instant, the smoke the reflected the light seemed to childish for her tastes. It reminded her to much of watermelon and while it did help profits to make things people enjoy, this, this wasn’t it for her in the slightest.

Shinobu clicks her tongue incredibly annoyed with the rather bland show, there was no pizazz, no flare, nothing that she could accurately pinpoint that impressed her. In all honesty, the president was a bit…underwhelmed. Her piercing gaze locks onto them as the entered and headed down that ramp. We’re they trying to intimidate her or make her eyes roll? In hindsight either didn’t matter, tonight was all about business. The challenger wastes precious time as they showboat, vaulting over the ropes and tossing away her kimono to reveal the ninja inspired leotard underneath.

It was here that Shinobu couldn’t keep quiet. They were close enough that she could keenly observe her gear and to say it made her blood boil was an understatement. She steps closer , leaning forward with her arms cross in a “know-it-all” stance. After a moment, her fingers clasp her chin as she shakes her head. ”Please, for the love of God, don’t tell me you had some poor sap make this for you.” She begins, pinching their arm guard and lifting it with a sense of disgust. ”I get we all love ninjas but this? This is just beyond pathetic. The leopard print? That’s so 80’s, I’m afraid you missed those roaring 80’s last decade.” they would maliciously add.

She snaps her fingers to her Assitant with a sense of malcontent. The poor girl steps closer to the ring to hear what Madam president has to say. ”This sad thing is in desperate need for a complete makeover. Tell Abagail to make up more stylistic choices in design so I never have to look at this… She’d wave her hand towards Alizeh. ”Whatever this is.” they would nod quickly typing away at their pad before the red would intervene. She of course had more to say but that needed addressing. It was an intense hate for leopard print that she couldn’t just let die. It was so American in her eyes. The pristine and intimidating form of it was lost, a sad realization but Shinobu planned to kill it herself.

With the match explanation out of the way, the president would snap to business at the sound of the bell.She steps harshly forward with her heels in a bold attempt to deliever quite possibly her most dastardly of open hand slaps for the blatant disrespect to her eyes.

Having made her entrance and shown off her new outfit Alizeh was feeling good about herself, and the reaction she got from the fans who were still whooping and cheering for the green haired girl as she turned towards her opponent who.. did not look impressed. In fact she looked as if Alizeh had just stepped on her toes or spat on her face or something, though when Alizeh thought about it, she was some kinda big fashion person, so it is very likely that she took issue with something about Alizeh's outfit.

Then as Shinobu spoke she pretty much confirmed what Alizeh thought insulting the look and especially the leopard print and her choice to model it after ninjas. Both of which were things Alizeh had requested personally, so out of the gate it was clear the two were gonna... not get along.

Frowning in Shinobu's direction as she bossily told her assistant something Alizeh would step forward meeting the woman in the center of the ring... where she would take a slap to the face from Shinobu! "Ngh!" Alizeh grunted softly as her head turned from the impact. Turning to look back at the woman Alizeh would roll her neck... Before swinging her arm around to punch the president across the face!

"Here's the thing.." Alizeh would say if the blow connected, crossing her arms while waiting to see if Shinobu would try and attack again before continuing. "I like the look of this outfit and so do the fans, that's what matters most, second, I'd rather wear this, than whatever weird future goth shit you got going on." Alizeh said gesturing at Shinobu's own attire.

Turning her eyes to ringside Alizeh would speak again. "Hey Abigail right?" She said to the assistant, talking in a far more amicable tone than she used for Shinobu before smiling. "Why don't you ignore whatever Mrs.Zoolander here told ya and take a break... we're gonna be here for a while." Alizeh said turning her focus back to Shinobu, figuring that if the punch wasn't enough than her words would likely have the woman itching to retaliate.

Shinobu wasn’t satisfied with just the one, she felt the ring in her palm as her gloved palm connected with soft flesh. The reaction she wanted wasn’t satisfactory either but she didn’t get a chance to delve deep into that thought as she was practically slugged in the face. Whipping her head as she grunts. While the green haired wonder spoke her piece, the president couldn’t help but laugh. HER tastes, HER likes. The naive words of an amateur artist. Her thumb rubs along her wounded jaw but it was nothing compared to the disaster she had to look at in front of her. ”How sad, even the dribble you call speech is embarrassing.”

She stands shaking her head pinching the bridge of her nose in utter disbelief. ”I was hoping for more then “I like how it looks.” or “Other people think I look good in it.” But that’s all you’ve got isn’t it? You poor, stupid, pathetic little urchin. It’s almost amusing…almost.” Shinobu’s had terrible critics in the past but this takes the cake. She’d turn to her panicking Assitant who had been brought into it but luckily she had an out that wouldn’t get her into trouble. Before she turned to head towards the barricade she turned to Alizeh with a soft gaze. ”M-my name isn’t Abagail.” was all they would say before stepping away from the ring. Despite what Alizeh had said to cancel the order, she knew better then to do that.

With that distraction out of the way, shinobu can see Alizeh waiting, she wanted them to retaliate to make a move but she’d been in business and on the receiving end of situations just like these for a while now. Her heels begin to move their wearer along the canvas. Her gaze locked onto the thing of her focus no matter how much it hurts her eyes to look at.

The president couldn’t help but express a smile as she stalks Alizeh, it had been too long since she had a challenge, a real challenge where her brawns mattered more then her brain. A chance to cut the chains that bind her to tactics of an advisor instead of a warrior but what made her the most excited was to crush that confidence like a big. In her long career of business she knew when to let the words roll off the skin and deal with the problem at hand, like a professional. Shinobu had mastered the art of patience with words.

”You can drop the baiting act. I didn’t come out here to have some wannabe preach love and fairness. I came here to fight.” She warns, her cold gaze narrowing as if insulted. Although motivated to at least beat Alizeh black and blue her first objective to show off their product was still top priority.[/color]

Unintentionally ignoring Shinobu's assistant Alizeh had turned her focus onto her opponent, attempting to bait the woman into making the first move. But the fashion president made it fairly evident that such a thing wouldn't be happening, pretty much saying as such, as well as insulting Alizeh's choice in comebacks towards the woman but Alizeh would just smirk at the woman. "Huh smarter than I thought at least." Alizeh said before suddenly dashing forward. If Shinobu was determined for Alizeh to make the first move than Alizeh would be happy to oblige coming in with her hands raised as if she was going to go for a lock up attempt with the woman. Except Alizeh would pivot at the last moment twisting her hips and sending her leg careening up to go for a thrust kick aimed at Shinobu's stomach to start things off!

She got what she wanted as usual in the end, the instigating didn’t do the job Alizeh had thought however it seemed now the two could get what the people wanted started. With the rookies dash forward, Shinobu would lock on, planting her heels in; suddenly taking off as she dug in. Her muscles explode in her claves launching her forward to ensnare her oncoming prey.
What the fashionista president didn’t anticipate was their unorthodox lock up stance. When their hands came up, her own insticively raised, in her mind Alizeh seemed the type to follow through but then again she wasn’t the type of opponent that’s she’d fight fairly. It was here that Shinobu concocted an idea as a true conniving president should.

She was blissfully unaware of her rivals plan but her own begin to form in her mind. Perhaps it was instinct telling her to not follow through or perhaps it was her own malicious intent to harm that spurred her on but she obeyed without question. When the pair of them came within mere feet of each other, Shinobu would suddenly stop her forward advance. Her left heel was already digging into the mat, preparing her once again. Instead of forward her foot would lean, pushing her upward. The fashionista was going for her products first test: flexibility~. The shining leather would squeal as her right knee would round itself, brandishing the hard bone as she attempts to drive it into their bread basket. Alizeh’s surprise kick even took Shinobu a moment to process, if her flight failed she would be eating a kick to her ribs instead.

Alizeh was tempted to pout about her attempt to baiting Shinobu in ended in failure, but it would only offer the fashionista more opportunity to poke and prod and act superior to the green haired girl. Just as well Alizeh would instead move forward, hands up for a lock up, which the president seemed to be in favor of meeting her in, if a bit tentatively. 'I don't think she'd be suspecting something based on me.' Alizeh thought to herself just before she sprung into action, thrusting her leg out for an attempt to kick at Shinobu, just as the woman did something similar. Taking to the and swinging her knee out for a pre emptive attack of her own! "Ngh!" Alizeh grunted as the hard bone of her opponent connected with her chest, even as her own leg extended all the way out, hopefully connecting even if Alizeh had to take a hit herself and would end up falling down back first against the mat as a result!

The thick, solid bone of her knee drove into the woman’s chest, colliding with flesh and bone as the impact took hold of Alizeh sending her back to the mat. Shinobu was almost proud of her success, but she had no time to gloat or advance with her lewd. Her exposed side was met with a leopard print leg, driving into her ribs and exposed midsection. She didn’t have to oppurtunity to grunt or cry out as she fell towards the ropes. The pain immediately made itself known to her, pulsing as the two had crossed moves. Her gaze narrows with anger, she’d let herself get caught in the crossfire and now she was on the mat. Her! She!

The president shook her head, she couldn’t lose focus, couldn’t forget her purpose here. Covering her wound, she grabs hold of the ropes, weary of Alizeh if she began to make her way on her feet, their was a sense of urgency for the Japanese woman as she slips her knees under her weight to push up.

Her assistant covered her mouth in shock as she watched, but this wasn’t her job. With the electronic pad in hand, she instead watched the feed. Investors had mixed opinions on their lastest design, some making comments that they need to see more. The nameless peon didn’t respond to them, that wasn’t her role, despite how horrid Shinobu was, the one thing the Assitant knew was she would make it work.

Shinobu pants as she pulls herself upward, the muscles straining to lift ache with pain from the previous kick. Their master orders them to endure and push, grabbing the ropes one by one as she slowly climbs to her feet. ”Get up… we’re only getting…started.” She demands, rubbing her side one last time before she’d begin to close the distance between them, insistent on getting back to business.
