Hera vs. Garzah - Squash Match Roughhouse

Garzah was struggling to breathe with the renewed sustained offense, and the knee strike caused her to properly let out a pained scream, clutching both her hurt stomach and the hard grip Hera had on her throat.

In a seeming act of defiance, she struck out a punch at Hera's face.

"Gnuh--!"

In Hera's blind rage, she was entirely focused on obliterating Garzah with offense- Meaning her guard was down as the orc flung a wild punch for her.

It clipped the gladiator's chin and rocked her head to the side, forcing her to take a step in the same direction as her eyes widen in shock. She freezes, seemingly unable to process what had just happened...

Until her eyes blink twice, shift back to the hurt orc...


"... You're dead."


Hera reached out and snatched Garzah by the hair, viciously tugging her away from the ropes and towards the center of the ring. Once there, she heaves another fist into the orc's pained abdomen, forcing her to hunch over so she can tuck her arm over her neck snuggly, reaching down to tightly clutch at her shorts. The enraged gladiator grit her teeth and planted her feet, and with the power of sheer, visceral anger alone... She hoists Garzah straight up, holding her entirely vertically in the air, before throwing her straight back down to the ring for a brutal powerbomb with all of her might!

Garzah's world went into a world of more pain, and then upside down as she felt like she was inside a tornado in her head, and the final powerbomb was it. The earthquake that razed the structure.

Garzah let out a pained "AUERGH" as she went limp. Her body was still heaving and breathing, but it seems she was lights out for the season after that brutal powerbomb!

Hera held onto Garzah still, feeling the consciousness escape her body almost instantly. Her whole body churned with intense emotion, yet the rage inside her was slowly dissipating... She heaved out a long, heavy sigh as she hooked her legs around the weightlifter's sprawled out arms- She's not taking any chances on her kicking out this time. Then, by simply placing a hand on Garzah's lower back and pushing her forward slightly, she completely folds her up, pinning her shoulders to the mat to finally, truly end things...

Hera's music blared back in on full swing, as roars of cheers started to swarm the stadium, a chant of "GLA-DIATOR! GLA-DIATOR! GLA-DIATOR!" rang out.

Garzah couldn't hear anything because she was just prone on the floor, pinned under Hera. As her consciousness came about, she quietly looked about.

Hera took a moment to move after the bell had rang, almost as if she was hesitating to make sure she really had won. Once it was clear she had, she shut her eyes and took a deep breath, nodding to herself before she shoved on Garzah's back and rolled back, slowly standing up.

She raised her head and looked all around the arena, gazing over the sea of fans chanting her name... And she tipped her head along, the faintest of smiles tugging at the corner of her lips as she raised her arms in victory, drinking in the moment for as long as she could. Finally, she felt worthy enough for that Gladiator name...!

Hermes had mostly sat back as the match had gone on, completely calm save for a few scares- He was always certain of the outcome through thick and thin. He rolls into the ring and approaches Hera, clapping his hands together with that signature sneer of his. For a moment, his gaze did soften as he looked up at Hera, a flicker of worry, wordlessly asking her if she was alright- Only returning to his cocksure self when she gave him a nod, confirming she was.

Through the hustle and bustle of the celebration, Hera spared a look over her shoulder at the fallen orc to see how she was...

Garzah stayed lying on the mat, still panting as she weakly gave a clap herself, a weak smile cracking on her face.

I should meet her in the gym some day.
